    This is pretty good. Not going to lie.
    To the guys saying that he's not building report... He will have a chance to do that once they agree to let them document the damage. This gets him on the roof when most pitches will not. This is pretty genius.

    He did pretty good overall. But I would definitely agree with the majority and say you were just going through the emotions and it sounded scripted. No doubt build rapport with the homeowner and let them know that you’re in the neighborhood offering a free damage assessment as a courtesy, no cost no obligation! Let them know that you are a man of your word a man of integrity, a man of great character, and a man that truly believes she is the best in the world and what he does. I let the entire world know I have the best canvassing pitch ever assembled. I’ve been holding onto this sweet recipe for many years. Back when I was the best canvasser in my region. I am now a successful 5⭐️ business owner of a somewhat successful Business that is front page google and on my way… long story short if you want me to train some up-and-coming young talent with the quality pitch… holler at me! 👊🏻

      Any really significant difference for selling storm or retail roofing - full roof replacement... that is THAT different from selling ( Windows / doors / home security / tree services / etc....)
      Seems nearly the same... but more of a necessity - not just a "nice-to-have".
      Thanks - any heads-up is appreciated.

    i’m just so sick and tired to see homeowners being targeted by this door-to-door sellers, which apparently found a loophole where they exploit the fact that the company that it’s supposed to take care of my home it’s going to come after me if I don’t pay them so they can fix my roof or something like that in that case why is my insurance company not something that they can actually make an agreement with so they can get paid for whatever fixing I do to my house that way they don’t have to spend money by doing an upgrading to my house. Let’s say I need to reinforce my ceiling let’s say I need to do some better construction or anything like that, no obviously not because insurance companies are only going to take care of your house when there is a damage so if there’s no damage they’re not gonna help me so that is why all these door-to-door Roofing sellers are going to exploit the fact that allegedly they are going to come after me if I don’t do some sort of upgrade to my house

      Us door 2 door claims specialists are professionals at finding damage that most home owners do not know how to spot and properly report unless they’ve been in the industry. We roofing salesmen are looked at in a very bad way because of how a lot of the industry works, but that doesn’t mean we’re all bad. The most of us are NOT out to get you, are NOT out for your money and only that. Are NOT trying to push you into a corner. Most home owners don’t understand that we see the damage, and we know how to report it properly, and actually even represent you when the insurance comes to inspect your roof as well. Most of us are here to genuinely help the home owners save many thousands by being a middle man for the home owner in an insurance claim!

    • @Jaeswindell
      @Jaeswindell 8 місяців тому +1

      @@Niko-wl4gs but you and I both know that's not always the case. Instead, these dudes target ancient roofs that should've been replaced decades ago in some cases claiming they're storm damaged.
      Driving around and soliciting work this way is like a mechanic walking through a parking lot, looking for dented cars and trying to convince people to make insurance claims.
      My major beef with this approach is that these contractors are exploiting a homeowner's insurance policy to get themselves paid - what they don't account for though, is that homeowners' insurance claims can spike rates, make people uninsurable, and expose them to cancellations. But these guys don't give an S, they got paid and moved on...
