Hello everyone!
Here is a compilation video where all of the Interns appear in the game 'Psychonauts 2' by Double Fine Productions. These were some of my favorite side characters to the game, each one with their own personality that really made them stand out. I just wished they had appeared more throughout the game. Keep in mind that I'm pretty sure I didn't get EVERY scene with The Interns. There is one scene in particular that I know I didn't include, which was when everyone was flying to The Lady Luctopus Casino, but that is only because you can only see them in the background and they're not really doing anything.

Did anyone else notice how these interns only ever had 1 lesson, then after Maligula happens, everyone graduates?
Yeah, well...it was a really busy couple of days.
It's kind of the same as what happened to Raz at the summer camp, right? They got more useful experience in a couple of days dealing with an actual crisis than a hundred lessons could have taught. Also, they're still just junior agents. There's a lot further to go yet.

I think at least part of the reason was Hollis trying to save face after the disastrous way her organization handled the "Maligula case". Not to mention the dirty laundry uncovered about the original Psychonauts.
Imagine having to admit your interns had to step up and save the day because you and your top agents were too busy being "washed up away".
Based on what I could gather, I’m pretty sure they’ve been interns for a lot longer than that
I wonder what would be Raz's reaction when he learns that "Tumble in the Net" is the reason he has so many siblings.
And that he's around too...

Man I forgot how incredibly hype the casino mission was where all the interns band together in the style of a heist movie
Man, I absolutely LOVED the interns. I was kind of worried they wouldn't get any screentime after their introduction but the game handles that pretty well. You get a few big scenes with them around the beginning of the game and then you're basically free to see as much or as little of them as you want once the world opens up and then you get another couple of big scenes with them towards the end.
The best is Sam, in my opinion. She did attempt to help at the end

Norma should have stayed an intern until she learned to actually listen and perform proper teamwork instead of brown nosing and try to be in charge with zero idea of what to do next

She's just showboating in front of Agent Forsyth to look cool and extra credit. XD LOL! Even though Raz knew everything about rail grinding since the 1st game and before the Casino Mission. Due to his family raising him in gymnastics and acrobatics.
I really hope the interns get a bigger spotlight in the next game. They're all just as charming as the campers from the first.
Sadly they want to move on to other projects and not get stuck in the same.
So we might have to wait too many years for a third game... Again.
@@magnusm4 Fair. At the very lease this one had a very conclusive end for the franchise. Raz becomes a Psyshconaut, the curse mystery is solved and it ended, we meet his family, Ford's mind if fixed, Lilis father is saved and pretty much (almost everything) is ok now. So, if it ends here on 2, at least it ends with a very nice bow on top.
I know WHY Norma is actually hanging out with Raz's dad, but those conversations have big "your dad keeps bees" energy if you catch my drift XD

@doomarang3208 It's a Rick and Morty joke. Jerry, the lame dad character, is seen doing some at home bee keeping in one episode, and in that same episode one of bi's daughter's friends is seen checking him out, as if him keeping bees apparently makes him sexy to her. So he's implying it comes across like Norma has a crush on Raz's dad.

I feel like it’s more like she’s one of those kiss-up students. They are respectful towards the adults but are very spiteful by those who garner more attention.
Here's a scene that I missed with Coach Oleander and Sam Boole. I didn't even know about this scene. Kudos to this person who uploaded it.

46:57 or even Saw Raz gets hang up upside down
One of the first anti-psychic bots makes a comment about "weak psychic signature" refering to Raf.
Later, we see the other interns displaying their powers: Norma melting a giant lock, Lizzie creating ice slopes, Sam summoning a small whale....
How weak is Raf compared with the average psychic? Or is it just the result of having being cut from exploring his actual main power (hydrokinesis) because "Maligula's curse"?
Y'know, I feel like it goes in hand with how he's "armored like a tank," like Coach said in the first game, mentally. I'd imagine that it has the effect of him having a weak psychic presence
I remember one of the agents at the Motherlobe asking him if his helmet interfered/blocked with his psychic waves or something like that, too
So either the helmet protects him from psychic detection and attacks somewhat, or it's a side-effect of repressing his powers
Richard Steven Horvitz. No wonder the familiar voice after my first encounter to Raz after watching some Psychonauts 2 videos which is the voice of Moxxie from Helluva Boss series. Richard Steven Horvitz voice can match these 2 characters of being nerdy, sarcastic, realistic and comical.
Speaking of Helluva Boss Lili is Raz's crush and guess who's name her's rhymes with.

The original Psychonauts is what made me fall in love with his voice acting style in the first place. It's great to see him back in the shoes of Raz after all these years.
He also voices Billy from Billy and Mandy

they were insufferable. i loved everything about the game and found all the characters engaging but everytime they showed up they soured the scene. it was pretty hard to redeem them after they violated Raz's boundaries by stripping him of his clothes. and the game doesnt really make an effort to redeem them by being more respectful towards Raz- and Norma was the worst- as Cassie says, "no one likes a snitch"!
True, i did like Sam more because she wasn’t as annoying and actually was nice to Raz
@@capitatecab6049 I liked Sam and Adam. Sam cause she was nice to Raz at the start and after the hazing Adam was quick to apologize and even offered protection after the Casino mission. The others were a bit meh.

I like most of them except Norma. I feel they written to be a condescending asshole, theyre a very well written jerk im glad others start seeing that about her.
They sort of grew on me. I heard people hating on them before I saw anything of the game, and mostly agreed, but their annoying qualities sort of became the same reason I like them. It’s like, the annoyingness is the thing that makes them likeable, sort of like small dogs being so disgusting and mind-grating, but are beloved by many people. The pug affect.
At 28:51, which songs suits best for it from persons 5, rivers in a dessert, life will change, or last surprise?

Personally I would choose "Wake up, Get up, Get out there or Beneath the Mask (remix)" only because we get to see what the other interns are made of and it's a good theme since it's Still early in the game.😁😅
I dont particularly like any of these characters because they're shockingly undeveloped but Norma is straight up awful. I seriously thought thered be a stage where we explore her mind or something but no?
Sam is pretty much the only one who's likeable out of the entire group

Sam is weird, and it seems like low effort character gimmick. But at this point I'd be happy if they made this kind of long dialogue in cafeteria for every single intern. Right now half of characters have close to zero background, and you feel nothing about graduating with them.
Well... At least they're not Psychic Six. Those were straight useless in story.
Honestly I am positively neutral about all of them. I’m hoping if we ever get a sequel (or anything at all) there’s some more development for them

Norma: biggest idiot ever.
She thought Raz was the mole, when there's a multitude of reasons that it would be impossible for him to be the mole.
1. The mole helped Loboto kidnap Truman. And Raz became a Psychonaut at the camp the exact same time Truman was taken! So he'd have no way to help Loboto!
2. The entirety of Psychonauts 1. Raz was at a summer camp saving all the kids' brains, stopping Coach and Loboto, and even saving Sasha and Mia. He had never been to HQ until Psychonauts 2.
3. Sasha or Mia probably would've vouched for Raz being clean.
4. She claims Maligula is Raz' "girlfriend", when as far as she knows, she's his grandma!
5. She asked, "how did he know where Nick's body was?" Raz didn't even know who Nick was! And he randomly found the body! Hell, he wouldn't have known Nick was in the box if it hadn't opened.
Seriously, I feel like Norma's idiocy was intentional. She thinks she's so cool, but literally everything she assumed about Raz being the mole was bull!
I think that's the point- the know-it-all knows nothing.
A dlc about them would be where play as them all would be cool
The interns in the beginning. Oh who is this kid m8? Raz before stopped a man from taking children's brains and putting them in robots.
I liked most of the interns apart from Norma because...well...obvious reasons. Adam and Sam are favourites of mine.

I hated all of them except for Sam.
Hoping that if we get a third game these guys are our main cast along with a couple kids from camp. I’d love to see into their minds. I’d also love to see what milla and Sasha’s real minds look like since we only saw the cracks in their constructs made for the campers

Looking at this commentary section I have the feeling that I'm the only one who genuinely like the interns...
I like most of them.
Except Norma.
She's just plain dumb. She thought Raz was the mole, but all of the evidence, namely the events of the first game happening at the exact same time as Truman's kidnap, makes it clear that it's impossible for Raz to be the mole.
Other than Norma, I legit liked the other interns. Especially Sam. She and her brother Dogan were hilarious.
