Just a thought... One might consider the UCG Max over the Express. It's $50 more, but in my opinion, well worth it. Compare the specs, and it should become obvious. You'd need an access point though, with the Max.
Just bought the express, since I didn’t wish to spend a lot for the initial setup itself and buy switches and access points, express felt like an all in one package for small area deployments. Not sure how much IDS and IPS would be useful for me in long run, would probably switch to max when needed!
