Season of Mist has always been known for being an innovative and wide spectrum label, interested in exploring and developing new artists and bands. Gaerea is my current top BM band. These melodies are just amazing
Same, I found them about 2 months ago and have been hooked since. They are everything I've been wanting from BM for years. I've become entranced by them. Every album is journey and I'm loving it.
Sounds melodic and melancholic but then it turns mysterious and sinister.
Always the sickest chord choice and leads. God damn.
They're all talented. One of the greatest bands I've ever heard.
I would love to have this version on the album in addition to the version with vocals.

As if it isn't good enough hearing the actual fully produced track with vocals, to get these playthroughs are such a glorious bonus. Grand in every sense.

I want to say I love how each of these play thru's is focused on the instrument being played and its being played live overdubbed. I love this band. Serious you're everything i've been wanting in black metal for years.

as far guitars go. LTd eclipse deluxe and ltd eclipse black metal. mesa cabs amps they dont show xd but i saw them live using evh cab and a peavey 5150 and orange heads for the bass.

@@ph0kused Gaerea are from my country, and their growth was inevitable, regardless of their similarities with Mgla. It's not like Mgla created this style, still they carry it on perfectly. Not really my cup of tea, though.
The darker part kinda sounds like shining.
Gearea's Mirage must win AOY .... Abstract Ilusion is short, it does not come close to Mirage's performance.
