    Damn.. This is probably the most epic midi I have ever made. So much time, effort, and attention to detail went into this midi. My heart went into it. This is more than just a Black MIDI. This is a work of art. A work of art that displays a timeline; a story.
    Please, if you're going to reupload this midi to your channel, Show your appreciation in some kind of way. I don't just create these black Midis for myself. (usually lol)

    To play this you must be in a slightly different position than usual. When the song begins, play like you normally would. As the song progresses, place your foot atop the piano and slowly bring your weight down on it. Eventually you shall completely lie down on the piano and carefully distribute your weight. Now, the next step may require assistance for amateurs. This can be from siblings, friends, spouses, or pets. All participating shall flop on the piano like fishes desperately gasping for fish oxygen. This requires much practice and study to succeed. It is recommended that you take several times more caffeine than usual. Any seizures that may be induced are encouraged. Others can also help by dragging their faces wherever keys seem neglected. As others may have demonstrated, random children are especially helpful for this part. They tend to become professionals in no time. Try to keep the steady pace of a cheetah who just got its cheetah girlfriend stolen by a flying monkey. Many will have passed out by the ending, but if you have not, good job. You now have three days to live

    TSMB2, I would like to sincerely thank you so much for spending God knows how many hours making this. I have probably listened to this over 100 times by now because I have found that listening to it on repeat really helps me to focus when I'm working on my dissertation, and watching the video often helps with my anxiety, so not only do I absolutely adore this Black MIDI but it has legitimately improved my life. I don't usually leave UA-cam comments, but I just had to make an exception for this because I want you to know how much I appreciate your hard work :-)

    T-this was a beautiful MIDI. I don't know if my 3970x can handle it. ;-;
    Like you said earlier, I like how the MIDI portrays a story. The beginning is analogous to the reign of a monarch, king, or leader of something. The phrases go up in depth as they pertain to the king's life. Later on, they get darker and essentially tell of the king's advances, whether or not they are good or bad.
    The first break preludes to a period of prosperity, as shown by the energetic cacaphonic notes show of the times of peace, until things happened. After that, another break follows, with a more somber tone, alluding to the king falling to some other force that ran him out of business. The energetic carthartic release of notes that follows effectively entails the king's return, revenge, and destruction of whoever stands in his way.
    The melodies following the next break effectively entail the second reign of the king, as the melodies increase in mood. There are nostalgic moments where there are twists on melodies shown during the king's first reign. To truly show the king has returned. The notes that follow are completely unique and are extremely complex, proving how much the king has progressed from the experience he had gained from everything. The crash point at the end shows you who is truly boss:

    Man, it's really awesome to this finally completed. I love absolutely everything about this amazing work art. I'm so jealous that you guys can make stuff like this, I sure can't with my crappy computer xD. All of you guys are amazing for not only making this these amazing works, but sharing them with us without asking for anything in return, although I'm not sure there's anything that could adequately compensate for this. I remember how black midi was before I started following it like I do now and it has come very far and disappointed in myself that haven't been able to offer anything to this community. So I offer praise in the hopes that you notice and appreciate it. If you don't, I'm sorry, and if you do, you've made someone very happy ^__^. I hope to see this grow and grow even if I'm never able to contribute. You're all awesome! And thank you for the (literal) days of entertainment!

    This MIDI inspired me to making more videos and making lots of algorithms to render MIDI's. (Although my methods on FL is not easy (no ocr tbh))
    And you inspired to me make MIDIs. (normal MIDIs, I will black when I feel ready (_i burnt my arm with sun wtf_))
    Man, I *WILL* start to make video of this *TOMORROW*.

    • @0xEmmy
      @0xEmmy 7 років тому +1

      It did, many times, but to force it to render I think he slowed it down (and maybe split it into chunks), converted it to .wav (or some other format that preserves waveform rather than individual notes), then sped it back up for publication to youtube

  • @djp1234
    @djp1234 8 років тому +14

    It's millions of notes, but still sounds like a simple melody, surrounded by noise

    • @hloyhesit8403
      @hloyhesit8403 7 років тому +2

      DJPelio and because all the notes are playing, you kind of hear whatever you want. That's probably why so many like it.

    • @Robbay363
      @Robbay363 6 років тому +1

      Well yeah otherwise it would just be noise. The point is not for all the individual notes to be heard. It creates a sort of texture. And of course you can’t forget the visual flare. It also serves as some fun competition to see how many notes you can cram in a song.

    • @Unacknowledged86
      @Unacknowledged86 6 років тому

      In the most intense parts the notes create a hum that get moved alongside the melody. I've heard this done with black midi before, but not with such "impressive" movement.

  • @cytosinesbestmoments9872
    @cytosinesbestmoments9872 7 років тому

    It is art. Both visually and audibly. You create the visual art with the notes, and use the placement to make a harmony only the sturdiest of computers can play.
    But, aside from that, you are, by far, my favorite Black MIDI creator of all time! All of the time and effort put into this masterpeice was worth it, and I know you will only get better from here.
    You can do this!

      Actually if youtube fed the viewer the MIDI your phone (and probably some supercomputers, after all processor and memory access speed is finite) would crash too, UA-cam converts the music into something comparable to a .wav or .mp3 file that represents the wave your speakers produce rather than the original MIDI. Which means a computer that can handle youtube at all can handle this just fine.

    A bullet-hell game where the boss is a "Composer Lord" enemy, who's attacks pull through music. The final battle is this song, but by the end he just ends up tearing up and hugging the hero because not one person managed to hear his entire song up until the point where the player beats it. He dies a happy boss.
