@@idrees25 since they focused on less people so yes. Past cfvg has many characters to introduce with fight and this season purely focused on tie in tournament so it easier to wrap up and feel content Compared to past tie in event like asia circuit the story of each character past and resolution might be lacking in plot but they learn to make it great in divinesz
I like how it feels like it’s finally getting back to the roots of vanguard. While I did like the approach, most of the Dress anime felt grounded in reality, with even the main overarching conflict being more Sci Fi than normal vanguard with GUI and the rogue AI thing. With DivineZ we’re getting back to the classic connection to planet Cray and more fantasy elements present in the OG, which I think is a great return to form for the series
@@zeff3016 i do agree where vg show animated cray unit it feels nice for us cardfighters. we love to see our fav unit got highlight in battle but i think since they trying to expand the audience to be more reachable in general, so they mostly bring up story based on real life plot for the anime so its not too absurd to introduce cray to them i guess
I see it more as original timeline up to G is seperate from D series with overdress up to here in Divinez But Cray's continuity is continuous between the 2 with that 3000 year timeskip it showed after defeating Gyze. V series and Cray during V series is completely seperate from everything else.
@@ianr.navahuber2195I expected him to lose, because his opponent was set up as the stongest CF of the enemies. No Deus eex Machina loss. Blagdmire is strong, but his divine skill attack can be guarded like from deck or opponent can aggro, rush win.
Sybilt basically has the ability to inflict Madness Enhancement to all her fighters, boosting all their cardfighting stats in exchange for being extremely unreasonable. Akina vs Hikari is just Artoria vs Lancelot all over again, except we don't have a Guinevere here
Yup basically confirming some of the theories people have speculating. Sybilt brainwashing the Destined Fighters and if we ever get a draw there will be a tiebreaker. That said Kuon other than his ambition going to Cray he seems, normal imo. Yeah his a bit hyper but honestly dude's a good sport and just seems like a nice guy. And I'm REALLY keen to know more about his and Suo's history. Shout-out to Nobunaga Shimazaki tho, dude killed it. And speaking of VAs Kyouma sounds 🔥🔥🔥.
Sylbit: "The team with the more wins, shall take all the Design Force, allowing every member of the team will make their wish come true" (Everyone on "Team Fated", except Akina, looks nervously at Suo) Suo: "What?" Mikoto: "Yobitsugi-Senpai, do you perhaps any desire in mind? ... or maybe..." Nao: "Do you wish for (gulp) nothing" Suo: ...."Not really. I only desire to keep having cardfights." Taizo: "Well.... That's one problem less" Masanori: Boring Akina (thinking): .... "Do I also desire something? I can desire for Hikari to be healthier, can I?.... Can I?"
Also to this, I think the original people all realized they can achieve their dreams without the wish (Nao/Mikoto) or don't even have a wish (Taizo/Suo) so it is very interesting to see their development here since Sylbit say s they all want a wish when in reality they dont .
@@funkycrawler619 Taizo probably discovered he has his own desire / wish he can't achieve without help now (cough cough future Hikari having a happy ending cough cough). It will be interesting if the ones without a wish, like Akina, do get one to fight for.

Spoiler theory Kuon could be a childhood friend from Suo past maybe around before suo parents were involved in the train accident. When he tries to cheer Suo up, it didn't work hence 7:38 mention the past. Also the intro if played at 0.25speed can see each players past and sadness
Until Blangdmire gets support that allows you to hit 8 or more face down in bind on the turn you ride it, it's Divine Skill is going to be turn 4 or later. None of the self-binding cards that directly support Blangdmire doesn't do much to accelerate the Divine Skill, but they do help to generate more power for Blangdmire as well as help if you don't have enough soul somehow
@@archerexiv3740If they set up Veidrock as a booster with Set order skill on Divine Skill turn, you are basically gonna burn all your hand to survive that attack and since Blandgmire thins deck out for triggers you will not be able to guard against either Veidrock or Zamug on the field. Killing Alchemist will only delay things. You need to rush Blandgmire to 4 ASAP on g2 turn.
Levidras’ colors are weird considering how it’s quite different from the actual card. Even so, it’s still incredible to see returning fan-favorites along with brand new characters in the mix. And the overall cardfight was quite interesting from the start, its seems like the stakes are high but I am personally glad that Jinki has returned, I always found him one of the compelling yet coolest characters being introduced in Will+Dress which is my favorite character and it doesn’t change here in DivineZ!!! 🤭🔥 Kuon is also an interesting and fascinating character already and while the cardfight was a bit predictable and telegraphed, its still wholesome to both competitors having fun towards the end (Rip Suo and Zero) and what a interesting yet fun way to start this clash. Looks like Taizo is up next!!! Although it must be painful for Akina to go up against his sister via her current state and I would love to see new friendships and rivalries being built (Jinki x Akina Myodo to be exact please! 🔥🥇) Very good episode this week!!! 🔥🤭 #DivineZ
I think it's because the setting is in night time. I think if the time setting is at daytime/place with better proper lighting, we'll get to see Levidras in its proper colors
He has BEAUTIFUL and complex coloring on the card where he kind of shimmers between blue and green like real life beetles. Unfortunately, that's a nightmare for animation to do. It's way too much extra time needed to figure out how the light is hitting Levidras and what color he's supposed to look at a certain specific angle. So instead, they just simplified it and made it one color.
Suo deck is still the strongest, he lost because he goes 2nd. They need to nerf him to introduce new cards. But on the next episode, Taizo will win to even the score. That's one of the case where new card user will be force to lose to even the match since this is team battle.
Levidras does really counter blangdmire but I’m glad it was acknowledged that blangdmire does counter levidras. Levidras rush attack really does hurt blangdmire an would probably make hard to put him in kill range while at the same time it was acknowledged that if suo had one more turn he would’ve won!
I figured that hikari’s wish was going to be linked to how she felt about her brother’s past wish. Just like how adult Hikari was angry at him for fighting for her benefit, I imagine the young Hikari feels the same way. She never asked to be healthier, and the thought that her brother gave up his chance for happiness for her upsets her. Likely her wish is for him to get his wish.
@@730Flare it will be funny if Akina's wish is Hikari's happiness because that is what makes him happy. seeing her smile makes any other wish he could have redundant in his eyes
@@muchluck7981 I mean in truth Akina wish is to spend time with the people he cares about. That’s his miracle and will do anything for it. But hikari can’t see it that way. Like Akina she probably feels guilt and has regret so she see it as him throwing his life away for her even though it not and sybilt is disgusted by him cause it goes against human nature! To not want anything for yourself! Taizo spoke about wishes vs desires and I think that’ll play a big part in this season
I wouldn’t say that but I think Hikari wants Akina to find his own path because if you pay close attention, he seems to care about sister so far which is great and all but my only criticism is that Akina can be selfish at times, I do love Akina but his wish is just as redundant since we recently learned that the Destined ones are brainwashed which if he makes the same wish back in Season one, it would be rinse and repeat, not to mention that having more urgency and caring for those around would be nice to see along with the writing, development and characterization for Akina being more consistent in the next season. And I think that a mentorship would be great to see along with joining an group while focusing on the lore of Planet Cray and vanguard (I think that the Uniforms would be a nice fit for him please in order to get stronger since we had a balanced focus on Blackout.). 😜🥲 #Divinez
Akina and Hikari's interactions are going to be more awkward going forward. Spoilers! I like how most of the Destined Ones are serious about their Destined opponents and then there's Yuna who's just simping over Mikoto. I'm surprised on the fact that it is indeed a team fight Fated Ones VS Destined Ones, and the winning team gets to make a wish, which would have been fine to say that "the Fated Ones should win" the only problem with that is Masanori is on their team and if his wish would come true then it would make more problems, but I have a feeling that there's more to it than that. As for the fight, no surprise that Suo lost to Kuon considering that they want to show off the Destined Ones' Divine Skills and wow Levidrasis good for offense, defense and multi-attacking thanks to the infinity-eyes marker, Another thing is If Suo did use Blangdmire's skill much earlier he would have destroyed Kuon since he wouldn't be able to do anything. Another thing is that Kuon seems to know Suo most likely he was Suo's friend prior to the accident, and then it seems that Hikari has changed from her happy self to a more cold, and calculated type, actually is kind of similar to future Hikari in a way, and then she scolds Akina because Akina's wish is more beneficial to Hikari then himself, so far it seems like Hikari is just that serious about this, at least for now, I am also curious on what Hikari's wish is. Next is Taizo VS Kyohma, Guiding Star VS Scales. Judging by how the series is gonna go, as well as Taizo's feelings since S1, I assume that Taizo would lose because in the end, he probably doesn't have a wish. As we see throughout S1 Taizo didn't really want anything to do with the Fated Clash, even in the original timeline (the one where Suo wins and erases the other Fated Ones) he was disqualified because he didn't attend his match, it wasn't until Future Hikari intervened and negotiated with him to attend the Fated Clash in the altered timeline (This current timeline). Of course this could change because of the circumstances. For now my prediction for the Destined Showdown is this Suo VS Kuon - Kuon Wins (this episode) Taizo VS Kyohma - Kyohma Wins (Next episode) Nao VS Senka - Nao Wins Mikoto VS Yuna - Mikoto Wins Masanori VS Jinki - Jinki Wins Akina VS Hikari - Akina Wins If this happens it will be 3 - 3 and the deciding match is gonna be Akina VS Kuon - Akina Wins or Kuon if they want to amp-up the stakes for Divinez S3
Predictions are pretty solid I do believe in your predictions for taizo and Nao and Akina matchups. However I do feel Mikoto and Masanori is too early to judge yet(need more context), it can still go either way. I am all down for Kuon vs Akina deciding matchup as the endgame match up but I wouldn't be too surprised either of Bushi decided to give Suo another chance at Kuon after rediscovering possible history with Kuon.
I mean knowing Akina he might say “even if where enemies, your still my little sister” For yuna it’s a fun twist! And does connect to supremacy all of the destined one user seem to have connection to the fated one so in her case it’s as a emotional fan I think that’s true but to some extent all of there wish have already come true though. All thanks to Akina Nao- through Akina passion she was able to keep going and is now on her way to go pro Mikoto- because of how honest and sincere Akina was she was able to take his example face herself and move foward Taizo- bit more complicated since his wish he wanted to achieve through hard work but also wanted to save the other user and guide them away from there fates. But saw Akina determination. And faith that he could entrust him with that task while also even if never mention that mindsset could transfer over to business to! Masanori- also complicated but in truth I think he just wanted to explore human desire through what ever means even going to use the power of taboo. But Akina resolve to change the fate of death and Akina showing him a miracle I think in a true sense his wish was also fulfill Su0- wanted to fine truth in zero and thanks to his persistence akina. Suo was able to fine someone who understands him. Within emptiness he found his truth of a friend Levidras and blangdmire are really two sides of the same coins. Levidras rush attack are difficult to block but on the other hand it was admit if blangdmire use his powers he wouldn’t have survived which I’m glad it was added I think hikari wish is most likely to change what happened in the past. I think she blames herself that brother has given up so much for her and feels like he doesn’t care for himself. In sense she may feel like she robbed him of his time or her time with him was stolen base on the op. I think a big element in this season is wish vs desire. Taizo mention last season about how wish and desire are different. And both hikari and sybilt may come to relzaie that this season. Cause it would explain why sybilt was disgust by Akina she found a human who truly doesn’t want any thing for himself but want to help others. Who knows maybe taizo will help hikari realize that there was that scene in the op of welstra vs liael. This episode was fire have so many mix feeling. I actually think taizo will win than nao and than akina. But who knows!!! So good!
I'd love to have my expectations subverted but I'm pretty sure Suo is gonna lose to show off how strong the new big bad's dragon is gonna be. Plus Suo already used his new card last episode. R.I.P. Zero, but I'm rooting for him
While I wholeheartedly agree that Akina is currently wavering, I really love how Hikari questioned of making your own wish. Its great that Akina is caring about his sister but I feel its important to show complexity, urgency and having an understanding of those around him. I love Akina but I want to see the writing to be more consistent and creative instead of just wavering in between. I also want to call out Nobunaga Shimazaki as well because I am also loving Kuon already because he has become one of my personal favorites (Main favorite being Jinki because I have a soft side for Keter Sanctuary and the Alden archetype, not to mention his design. Dragon Empire and Keter Sanctuary are two of my personal favorite nations in Vanguard. 🔥🥇) I am so fascinated by the Vanguard media!!! The characters, OST, the lore, animation and etc. 😮🤭💛💕 I seen a number of people commenting about Suo being nerfed which is fair, I am not going to fault him on because they did a decent job of establishing the threat but still unfortunate for Suo nonetheless. 🥲💔 I know Sylbit is more antagonistic but my goodness I adore the character and overall design, it’s surprisingly cute but I am also the most excited for Masanori versus Jinki because of certain reasonings, lol!!! 🤣🤭🔥 #DivineZ
Yo hit the nail on that. Agreed Akina is a great guy but him being this selfish guardian is to me him running away from the guilt of what happened to Hikari at the camping accident. Something that make Hikari herself feel very guilty and probably wants to return all of her brother's time and attention back and wishes that he finally finds his own happiness. Honestly tho this makes Akina a very interesting character to follow and I'm very excited of what's to come. And yes Nobunaga Shimazaki, freaking killed it.
I like that Kuon uses Stoicheia and not Dark States, it is refresher that the main antagonist uses this nation. D series loves putting markers for the antagonists xd
@@reyajudante4408 Same. It’s even more refreshing that Kuon’s units are based off of Megacolony rather than Neo Nectar or Great Nature, seeing as how that’s what every Stoicheia player, even Masanori, seems to use.
@@BushidoRoadone of his old school units was straight up a NN unit, it's ability discards top 3 from deck for CB and I believe SB 1, and he could retire it to allow.the cost of either CB or SB to be 0 if you are Alchemagicing, the more forms he got though yes he became more aligned with Granblue but early one it was a healthy mix
@@SuperSayianWarrior Rewatch his fights in DivineZ and you’ll see that he still uses plenty of Neo Nectar based units, particularly Philander, who’s a Musketeer unit.
You'd think that they'll save this for much much later or at least to close off the 1st half of the season but NOPE. We're starting the Destined Showdown with a bang! 👉💥💥
I'M SO PUMPED FOR THIS SEASON NOW!!! I really want to know more about each Destined Rival. Given it's the first fight, makes sense Suo would lose though since the villain team needs to be established as a proper threat and throwing one of the Fated Ones to the wolves is a good way of doing that. Only complaint so far is...the Grade 3 Vanguard always seeming to be the final damage when a person loses.
It just clicked to me that, Levidras is the matching rival for Bladgmire. Bladgmire is the Zero fated while Levidras is the Infinite destined. 0 is nothing while ♾️ is unmeasurable. ouroboros is an ancient symbol of a snake or serpent eating its own tail, variously signifying infinity, where some illustrations depicts the snake forming a circle or 0. Quite Novel the Vanguard lore designer
Curious how episodes will be structured. Being six fighters on each side, we're going to get at least 6 episodes. I wonder how fights will play out and how the story will progress.
@@paponvichchattrapronvichia4126it's only 1 fight, so it'll probably be Akina vs Kuon. The real question is it the Legacy Fated Ones who'l win or will it be the ladies? Knowing Bushiraod it'll probably be the former
suo tanking all the badluck that his teammates gonna get, losing the first fight, no pg in hand, going second, and having no card with either binding or drawing capabilities. i think the result will be 3-3 and the final match is akina vs kuon. altough the match im most excited for is akina v hikari, and masanori v jinki
Don’t know how to feel about one point it was cool seeing kuon and levdrias and him taking down the big bad of season 1 at the same time he was that for a reason so… that said one draw can change everything Although glad it was added that if suo had one more turn he wouldn’t have survived Now I do feel like I understand hikari a bit more and her intentions and i get why she doing this but I don’t think Akina would have a wish like that which is not in his nature. Nor rezeal for that matter Which might be why sybilt was disgust by this 6:40 There was a line that I taizo said to masanori about wish and desires and I think that might be the key point of this season! Just my thoughts
I really loved the episode but I can’t help but feel a bit underwhelmed by Levidras‘ Divine skill, I don’t dislike it by any means but if you compare it to Suo’s, its a bit of an odd choice since Suo lost due to luck. I liked the cardfight for the most part but the conclusion of this is what I have to criticize on!!! I feel bad for Hikari despite her intentions being understandable but whatever happens between those two will be interesting and emotional!!! 💔 #DivineZ
@@ashelygordon669I think the idea behind it is that it’s a zero to low cost skill and it overall pretty balanced. It setup for a strong blitz attack that would be hard to gurad other wise. Which is a good counter for blangdmire since it can’t use it divine skill until 8 cards are bound That said glad it was acknowledged that kuon would’ve lost if he had one more turn In lore terms levidras is sharing knowledge with those under it so they become stronger
@@ashelygordon669 and yeah it’s really sad. But it make sense we saw it last season for future hikari and now this season on current hikari. But it kinda make good cause I don’t think she or sybilt truly understand that he doesn’t have a wish for himself. First future hikari and now this my heart 😢
To be fair its actually pretty hard to counter Bland once it uses its divine skill. You need a lot of shield or unique interaction like Liael to stop it. I think Kuon's divine skill is pretty good. Your power scale the longer the game goes on and you get to reduce your opponent's power.
But she is still connected to Time. The wish must have similarities or some sort of link with their destined/fated ones, her wish might be her own? She wishes to receive the time she wasted in hospitals or even wishes that Akina gets the time back he spent by taking care of her.
@@goingoverload6096 a big personal theory for me is that she feel either her time was stolen with Akina or she stole his time either way It probably has to do with what happen back then
Okay, so now that the match everyone knew was gonna turn out is out of the way, there are 4 matches with indeterminate results: First is Kyohma vs Taizo, Taizo needs more wins since he doesn't have many, so he's probably a good shot for winning here. However, he also the only undetermined player who actually won his round last time, so he might also be a prime target to job. Then we have Senka vs Nao. Nao had 3 games last season, the most of any character except Akina, and ended off on a positive w/l record. She will probably lose her match to get some more wins on board for the Destined ones. If Taizo wins his match then I think Nao loses hers, and vice versa. Yuna vs Mikoto- Mikoto needs a win, she's a safe win choice. Jinki vs Masanori, this is a Jinki win. Balances out the win/lose ratio nicely. Hikari vs Akina is gonna be an Akina win, then it'll be Akina vs Kuon, which'll also be an Akina win.
If you wanna feel this power and feel deck all you need is the ost with blangdmire or levidras and "levidras skille hatsdoo!" So beautiful voice bravo 16:02
Sybilt should be the Void right? Considering that she possess people, and Brandt Gate says they’re awaiting the return of the void. So we getting Link Joker back but tournament setting. I wonder what Sybilt’s wish is? Maybe being able to control humanity.
Uhhhhh... Okay, so, now that we-- and the participants-- know that EVERY member of the winning team gets a wish from the Design Force, the Fated Ones' holders are faced with QUITE a dilemma, here: Suou-- and apparently Akina-- don't have exact/decided wishes, so should the Fated side win, won't the whole arena-- and any life surrounding it-- be absorbed (per se) into a black hole after all, akin to had Akina lost the Fated Clash Finals? Was that not EXACTLY what Hikari was trying to avert using her wish from the Fated One of Time?... Oh no, is the sibling tragedy going to repeat itself?? At the same time, if the Destined side wins over half the rest of these cardfights, their minds will remain under Sybilt's corruption... Whom do I even root for, anymore?? Geez, why must you make things hard for me, Bushi??
I think by the end of Season, the destined one will win(probably kuon draws overtrigger) and open portal to Cray and sybilt take over Hikari’s body. Then Akina and Co(hopefully with Yu’s crew) will need to stop big bad sybilt/Dark Hikari. Jinki might wish for Michiru to recover.
I think if Fated Ones win, it'll be different this time. Suo's "wish" back in the day came with subcontext of "destruction". He lived his life in a destructive manner, didn't care for himself and his surroundings. When he said "I have nothing, I don't need anything" and all that, he meant it as "destroy" and Blangdmire made that come true. Now that he's in better state, he still wants nothing, but like that's it. Just a word without ill intentions. That's why I think he'll get nothing. As in, nothing happens to him (and everyone else). Now the real issue is Akina. He's wavering at the moment. While I also don't think he'll trigger the black hole as well, will he be able to find the answer he wants and be okay with?
@@Smashtasix1234 I mean if you think about all there wishes have been granted so it’ll either be no one makes a wish or Akina will but for the sake of another, cause Akina by proxy has done that. Granted all there wishes Nao- Akina support and passion help rediscover her love and vanguard and was able to fine a path to her way to become a pro fighter Mikoto- learn how to believe in herself through Akina honesty and sincerity. Seeing how up front he was Taizo- he want his wish to come through hard work and but also wanted to save the fated one user. But saw that if you never lose fate you never know what could happen Masanori- want to learn about human desire/emotions and saw something he never seen Akina creating a miracle Suo to fine the truth in zero and he found Akina a friend who understand him
I think this season overall is hinting a character developement arc for the fated cast tbh All of them either had their wish granted or found peace with their situation but now this season is trying to build on how these characters will move forward with their new found emotions on their lives.
I thought Akina would punch Sybilt like what he had did with Gabu. But that don't happen. And Shimazaki Nobunaga's voice (Kuon Aikawa's seiyuu) is always good.
I’m am curious about how the destined showdown is gonna play out, I know it’s more than likely gonna end with it being tied 3-3, and then Kuon and Akina are gonna fight, but from here on out it’s hard to tell who’s gonna win their fights and who’ll lose, my guess is Taizo will win so they can maintain some hope throughout the showdown, and gives it a more back and forth vibe. I’d prefer that then one side being down in wins and going on a miracle win streak
So I want to gather the keywords activation of each divine skill: Akina - Kiseki Sairin! Nao - Musou Kaigan! Mikoto - Banka Kenran! Taizo - Shirube Kaihou! Masanori - Kinki Man'en Suo - Zero ni kaere Future Hikari - Toki o sakamake Kuon - Mugen Kakusei! Kyohma - Hakari Shikkou Jinki - Shugo Tenkai Yuna - Shikko Totatsu Senka - Ryoga Kaishi Hikari - Toki yo yugame Gonna be edit each line when it will appear for Destined Ones.
An expected fight but also a really good one and it seems that the Destined cards are opposite the Fated ones to a degree (Zero vs. Infinity) and I realize now why Future Hikari existed given the design force was needed for Gab's wish and in her timeline Taizo didn't compete and everyone disappeared so another Clash was needed. I am excited to see how this plays out given it seems there is a relationship between all (and I did not expect Kuon's wish to be that but now I wonder if he is Chronos' descendant cause that's how his story ended and the fact that his card was giving hella Gredora vibes is pretty fun throwback lol)
@@Fablelinx hmmm i think its about gab and syb will turn into card and used in final battle by akina and hikari. gab yellow color turn out to be his armor (golden) while his body is white. syb possibly decorated by red armor as well and the body might be dark or else
I personally liked the cardfight but some of the complaints regarding the cardfight being lackluster are valid. Yes it was predictable and based on luck but problem is blangdmire‘s skill requires a setup (Roughly eight!!!) and Levidras or any other rush decks would be problematic for blangdmire anyways, its a bit dumb and I understand why some people were disappointed with the writing, yet its quite weird but I seen worse than that. Secondly, I figured the Destined ones would be brainwashed which is a bit predictable and problematic trope. Basically restoring/resetting them is the only way but won’t be easy because all of them seem to be tough opponents. And since I personally watched Will+Dress, I can probably guess the reasonings and intentions of Jinki of why he chose to be a part of this clash (Which I recall is quite emotional due to the hospitalization!!!) but we’ll just wait and see!!! 🥲🔥 #DivineZ

This has to happen. I bet Akina will win his fight by switching decks! Hikari in the future almost beat Rezeal if it wasn't for a lucky OT into pg. This Hikari probably has just a good a chance if not more. I bet Akina will borrow either Suo's deck or somehow get Future Hikari's deck. The reason I'm hoping this will happen is cause we've had a major twist to a fight for 2 other seasons right now, 1 with Danji and Dragjeweled, and the other with Akina vs Taizo. If you want to win a serious fight, you need to take a cardfighting crackhead approach to it. As for transfering embblems, yes Blag lost his, but I'm sure there's a way to transfer Rezeal's to Blag or something.
That's the most absurd and ridiculous idea ever! Not to mention a total disgrace to his deck and main unit. You are not a vanguard fighter with that statement!
@@kodokutamashi1569 That was uncalled for, especially when it was pretty common in the original series for several characters to use a different deck, either changing them throughout the series or just for special occasions.
@@BushidoRoad Oh yeah that happened a lot with Aichi with Royals, to shadows, to golds, then LJ, and finally back to Royals. I actually came up with the idea for Akina to use a different deck for 2 reasons. 1) Akina is an actual Cardfighting Psychopath, after going no heals and no pgs once this man has no limits. 2) I was inspired by Ibuki/Chrono vs Gastille. It was just cool to me seeing that Chrono has fought Ibuki so much he knows how to play his deck
Finally! After what feels like forever, we finally get a Stoicheia player who uses units based off of Megacolony! And just like with the Spike Brother based units Danji used, they’ve become a much more credible threat. Kuon’s wish being to go to Planet Cray is a nice callback to that being Chrono’s goal at the end of his series. Heck, he even looks similar to him. I wonder… It’s now made clear that the Destined Ones have been slightly brainwashed and that the only way to return them to normal is to defeat them. Still can’t believe that Kuon is voiced by the same voice actor who voices Fujimaru in Fate Grand Order. This is gonna make future fights with him all the more epic!

@@kodokutamashi1569 It’s not lame. We don’t know for certain what will happen until it happens, like how Akina managed to defeat Taizo, and him losing, but getting a second chance for the final fight would fit well with his character since he’d get another shot at saving his sister.
Anyone got any theories about hikari? Like what her wish might be, and what could she be up to? This episode only made her point out her brother has no selfish desires. What is that about? Do you have any thoughts?
Probably something to do with the past incident. Perhaps she feels either she rob him of his time or her time with him got stolen either. Way her wish might be to change the past
From what I am seeing with the first ep, I am seeing hikari as the person who is trying to help her brother find his own path since most of his life at this point has been taking care of his sister. It's a solid story point lols
90% he will win. He lost to Akina for plot. If he knows his deck recipe earlier, he will just goes full agro and Akina would be dead in the end. He played safe by reserving hand and he already put strain on Akina's hand. Plus Welstra draw engine is not bad.
Infinity is cool i guess but neither the archetype look or effects match Kuon's "pursuit of knowledge" theme and summoning chants. Like, what does a swarm of insects performing multiple consecutive attacks have to do with wisdom 😂
Eh kinda disagree. On the off chance Suo survived that PG would have been completely useless against Blang's Divine Skill. It served a better purpose on the field instead of the hand. Especially when it came to defeating Suo before Blang fires off.
@@allen2reckless676 it's actually not just a message. With Infinity Eyes and Persona that pg has 26k, supposedly Suo had pg in hand that crit will go to either front row. Suo can't guard either way.
I think that’s a part of. But personally I think she may feel like in a sense robbed Akina of his “time”. Because of that incident Akina became who he is and while I think hikari loves him for that in another sense she hates him to. Cause she may think he’s punishing or sacrificing himself for what happened back then and is blaming himself. Dub hikari did call it a hero complex. Akina never thinks for himself and never desires anything for himself so she may feel she robbed him of his time and would also explain why sybilt is so disgusted by Akina. I think a big ideal that’s gonna be played in this season is the line taizo said to masanori about wishes vs desire last season Cause I think in a true sense and I know it not overdress but I think Akina in reality is just trying to face his past and move foward with. I think Akina just doesn’t want to regert anything. And what he truly wants his wish to be is to be able to spend time with the people he loves. That’s his miracle. But I don’t hikari can see it that way. And for sybilt that kinda selfless nature goes against human nature
Whoever wins set the pacing for legacy vs Divine cast. If Taizo wins then Mikoto and Nao will lose, if Taizo loses, they'll win. Akina is 100% a win vs Hikari, though thar could be a 2 partner episode
I wholeheartedly think Kuon would still have won had Suo went first Suo's a Vanguard genius yeah but Kuon is a *genius* genius, the level of knowledge is nowhere even close
The issue is that Kuon wouldn't be able to go as aggressive had Suo gone first, allowing Suo to get closer to his wincon before Kuon could rush him. Suo in general got some pretty shitty luck this game, but had he gone first I'm sure that wouldn't have been as much of an issue.
Can't stack though. More like advance Dragon Tree markers, but got nothing against Masqnolia though. Because Seroll made the numbers much bigger and has 6 attacks.
Problem is that blagmire needs eight or more cards in the bind zone and would have been more effective if Suo went first. And not that blagmire struggles a lot with rushing-oriented decks!!! 🥲✋🏻 #DivineZ
Calling it now, the initial 6V6 will end in a tie with Akina, Nao, and Taizo, taking Ws and Suo (as we see here), Mi-Tan, and Masanori taking Ls. The tie breaker will be Akina VS Kuon.
Replace either Nao with Masanori or Taizo with Mikoto. Bushiroads gonna do either the females dirty like they have shown to do or will screw over the legacies
Levidras a dragon that share it knowledge with its allies to support them while also studying there enemy weakness Levidras and blangdmire really do counter the other one pretty well Levidras really does exploit blangdmire weakness but at the same time glad it was acknowledged that if suo had one more turn he would’ve won
Hikari one of my least favorite characters. First her future form meddles in the Fated Clash and cheats to make the Clash go her way and now she’s acting so sour because of the Destined one concept.
@@AmbroseVermillionthe thing of her brother sacrificing himself for her sake is bothering her. It feels like he has no desire for himself and will lose concern for his own well-being. Both Present and Future Hikari want Akina to look out for himself more often.
@@AmbroseVermillion She didn’t cheat though. Outside of getting Taizo to compete in the Fated Clash, all that Future Hikari really did was try to convince Akina and Suo to drop out or ask Taizo and Masanori to make sure either one is defeated. Plus, as the winner of her Fated Clash, Future Hikari had every right to ensure her brother didn’t die fighting Suo.
@@BushidoRoad She also gave him Amorta which saved Akina during the cardfight. I know she wanted to save her brother from dying, but she still meddled and cheated no matter if it was for the best or not. Without any meddling, Suo would have still been the rightful champion. Because let’s face it, aside from plot armor and Future Hikari’s cheating there’s no way a newer Vanguard fighter like Akina would defeat a Vanguard genius like Suo as proven during the unaltered timeline Fated Clash results. Anyway, aside from all that maybe we’ll see if Hikari becomes better as the season progress, but for now I have a negative opinion of her character so far
I think Odium will have superior call skill the same as Amorta. But since Amorta bind, Odium will put rg to soul. When the soul reaches 10, Odium's divine skill will ride herself from soul. Basically Liael changed, but not by much

I like how it feels like it’s finally getting back to the roots of vanguard. While I did like the approach, most of the Dress anime felt grounded in reality, with even the main overarching conflict being more Sci Fi than normal vanguard with GUI and the rogue AI thing. Sylbit: "The team with the more wins, shall take all the Design Force, allowing every member of the team will make their wish come true"

Taizo: "Well.... That's one problem less"
Masanori: Boring
Akina (thinking): ....

Whelp, you predicted the first half of the recent episode
I find it funny that Kuon solution to counter Blangdmire is to just rush before Blangdmire uses its Divine skill.
Man slapped the shit out of blangdmire 💀
To be fair...Blangdmire hates being rushed so it was a good strategy
Until Blangdmire gets support that allows you to hit 8 or more face down in bind on the turn you ride it, it's Divine Skill is going to be turn 4 or later. None of the self-binding cards that directly support Blangdmire doesn't do much to accelerate the Divine Skill, but they do help to generate more power for Blangdmire as well as help if you don't have enough soul somehow
Rush and control are the best options to beat Blangdmire. Always prioritize killing off Alchemist.

Akina brought back his joy to vanguard. Other than that Suo still didn't care much.
Kuon is also an interesting and fascinating character already and while the cardfight was a bit predictable and telegraphed, its still wholesome to both competitors having fun towards the end (Rip Suo and Zero) and what a interesting yet fun way to start this clash.
Looks like Taizo is up next!!! Although it must be painful for Akina to go up against his sister via her current state and I would love to see new friendships and rivalries being built (Jinki x Akina Myodo to be exact please! 🔥🥇)
Very good episode this week!!! 🔥🤭
#DivineZ
Plus Suo doesn't have PG on the whole match.
Talk about bad luck, lol
He needs to find a way to add more drawing power to his deck
Taizo has so little plot armor, he has lost I think every onscreen game except one. Pretty sure him, the Lyrical girl at least are gonna lose.
My current prediction:
Suo loes, Taizo loses, Nao wins, Masanori loses(Or else alden will forever be memed), Mikoto wins, Akina wins.
Levidras does really counter blangdmire but I’m glad it was acknowledged that blangdmire does counter levidras. Levidras rush attack really does hurt blangdmire an would probably make hard to put him in kill range while at the same time it was acknowledged that if suo had one more turn he would’ve won!
That Hikari comment about Akina really reminds me of Rin calling out Shirou bullshit of helping someone by sacrificing himself
And the fate comparisons continue
@@paponvichchattrapronvichia4126 Adding this to the ever growing list of Fate comparisons.👍
Yeah Akina didnt learn shit. He just got his wish so there is nothing stopping him from doung the same thing again if Hikari gets sick again.
@@730Flare it will be funny if Akina's wish is Hikari's happiness because that is what makes him happy. seeing her smile makes any other wish he could have redundant in his eyes

and sybilt is disgusted by him cause it goes against human nature!

I love the OST. I need Kuon's theme NOW
I know right ❤😊
The two fights i've been waiting for is Welstra vs the Thunder Destiny, and the Returning Beasts Alden vs Zorga
For now my prediction for the Destined Showdown is this
Suo VS Kuon - Kuon Wins (this episode)
Taizo VS Kyohma - Kyohma Wins (Next episode)
Nao VS Senka - Nao Wins
Mikoto VS Yuna - Mikoto Wins
Masanori VS Jinki - Jinki Wins
Akina VS Hikari - Akina Wins
If this happens it will be 3 - 3 and the deciding match is gonna be
Akina VS Kuon - Akina Wins or Kuon if they want to amp-up the stakes for Divinez S3
I mean knowing Akina he might say “even if where enemies, your still my little sister”
For yuna it’s a fun twist! And does connect to supremacy all of the destined one user seem to have connection to the fated one so in her case it’s as a emotional fan
I think that’s true but to some extent all of there wish have already come true though. All thanks to Akina
Nao- through Akina passion she was able to keep going and is now on her way to go pro
Mikoto- because of how honest and sincere Akina was she was able to take his example face herself and move foward
Taizo- bit more complicated since his wish he wanted to achieve through hard work but also wanted to save the other user and guide them away from there fates. But saw Akina determination. And faith that he could entrust him with that task while also even if never mention that mindsset could transfer over to business to!
Masanori- also complicated but in truth I think he just wanted to explore human desire through what ever means even going to use the power of taboo. But Akina resolve to change the fate of death and Akina showing him a miracle I think in a true sense his wish was also fulfill
Su0- wanted to fine truth in zero and thanks to his persistence akina. Suo was able to fine someone who understands him.
Within emptiness he found his truth of a friend
Levidras and blangdmire are really two sides of the same coins. Levidras rush attack are difficult to block but on the other hand it was admit if blangdmire use his powers he wouldn’t have survived which I’m glad it was added
I think hikari wish is most likely to change what happened in the past.
I am so fascinated by the Vanguard media!!! The characters, OST, the lore, animation and etc. 😮🤭💛💕
I seen a number of people commenting about Suo being nerfed which is fair, I am not going to fault him on because they did a decent job of establishing the threat but still unfortunate for Suo nonetheless. 🥲💔
I know Sylbit is more antagonistic but my goodness I adore the character and overall design, it’s surprisingly cute but I am also the most excited for Masanori versus Jinki because of certain reasonings, lol!!! 🤣🤭🔥

Which might be why sybilt was disgust by this 6:40
There was a line that I taizo said to masanori about wish and desires and I think that might be the key point of this season! Just my thoughts
I really loved the episode but I can’t help but feel a bit underwhelmed by Levidras‘ Divine skill, I don’t dislike it by any means but if you compare it to Suo’s, its a bit of an odd choice since Suo lost due to luck.

That said glad it was acknowledged that kuon would’ve lost if he had one more turn
In lore terms levidras is sharing knowledge with those under it so they become stronger
Im surprised i havent seen a single comment about Hikari's wish. Pretty sure shes gonna wish that our boy is gonna start thinking about himself more.
I means, we never sees Akina playing vanguard for own sake/fun. Mostly for Hikari and Suo.
But she is still connected to Time. The wish must have similarities or some sort of link with their destined/fated ones, her wish might be her own? She wishes to receive the time she wasted in hospitals or even wishes that Akina gets the time back he spent by taking care of her.
@@goingoverload6096I like that one.
@@goingoverload6096 a big personal theory for me is that she feel either her time was stolen with Akina or she stole his time either way It probably has to do with what happen back then
@@jamesluong5299 Yeah.... it has to be a wish that can be seen as seflish, so it isn¿t that bad when Akina denies her that wish.
Okay, so now that the match everyone knew was gonna turn out is out of the way, there are 4 matches with indeterminate results:
First is Kyohma vs Taizo, Taizo needs more wins since he doesn't have many, so he's probably a good shot for winning here.
2:14 Is it just me or they finally fixed the nation name switch for BG and DS?
If you wanna feel this power and feel deck all you need is the ost with blangdmire or levidras and "levidras skille hatsdoo!" So beautiful voice bravo 16:02
Sybilt should be the Void right? Considering that she possess people, and Brandt Gate says they’re awaiting the return of the void.
So we getting Link Joker back but tournament setting. I wonder what Sybilt’s wish is? Maybe being able to control humanity.
No... Sybilt isn't Void...
Granted all there wishes
Nao- Akina support and passion help rediscover her love and vanguard and was able to fine a path to her way to become a pro fighter
Mikoto- learn how to believe in herself through Akina honesty and sincerity. Seeing how up front he was
Taizo- he want his wish to come through hard work and but also wanted to save the fated one user. But saw that if you never lose fate you never know what could happen
Masanori- want to learn about human desire/emotions and saw something he never seen Akina creating a miracle
Suo to fine the truth in zero and he found Akina a friend who understand him
I think this season overall is hinting a character developement arc for the fated cast tbh All of them either had their wish granted or found peace with their situation but now this season is trying to build on how these characters will move forward with their new found emotions on their lives.
I thought Akina would punch Sybilt like what he had did with Gabu. But that don't happen. And Shimazaki Nobunaga's voice (Kuon Aikawa's seiyuu) is always good.
Bro is too high to reach!
Can’t wait for the next episode
Koun's avatar... Leviadras is much older. Way older than Gyze and Messiah
A mix between Megacolony and Great Nature. I'm personally more interested in that Dragon Empire destined deck
So I want to gather the keywords activation of each divine skill:
Akina - Kiseki Sairin!
Nao - Musou Kaigan!
Mikoto - Banka Kenran!
Taizo - Shirube Kaihou!
Masanori - Kinki Man'en
Suo - Zero ni kaere
Future Hikari - Toki o sakamake
Kuon - Mugen Kakusei!
Kyohma - Hakari Shikkou
Jinki - Shugo Tenkai
Yuna - Shikko Totatsu
Senka - Ryoga Kaishi
Hikari - Toki yo yugame
Gonna be edit each line when it will appear for Destined Ones.
These character themes🔥🔥🔥
Happy Suo beatdown HYPE!!!!!!!
I see it coming that Taizo, Nao and Akina will be the winners of the Gabwelius group
We need a gab and sylbit card i think it will be keter sanctuary for our gab and dragon empire for sylbit but maybe can be all decks

@@Fablelinx They could be something like the Cray Elementals or Dragontrees; not belonging to a specific nation, but can be used in any deck.
Bro Suo got cooked so fast . We all had that villan Aura of Suo for a whole season, and he lost damn.😂
It made sense for kuon to push for game since blangdmire shuts down divine skills

@@ashelygordon669 I'm confused why Suo didn't use his divine skill that turn to win or at least force Kuon to use more cards from hand and cripple him for the next turn. I was under the impression divine skills could be used the turn they're played...

It was just cool to me seeing that Chrono has fought Ibuki so much he knows how to play his deck
rewatching this episode after s2 ep 11 feels so different
Yeah seeing Kuon's smile after Sou said "let's do this"
Dude realized the friend he lost back then was still in there.
I wonder…
It’s now made clear that the Destined Ones have been slightly brainwashed and that the only way to return them to normal is to defeat them.
Still can’t believe that Kuon is voiced by the same voice actor who voices Fujimaru in Fate Grand Order. This is gonna make future fights with him all the more epic!
Don't forget that Kuon Aikawa voice actor is the same voice actor from kazuha in genshin impact and its epic
Prediction for next fight in first Destined Showdown:
_Taizo vs Kyoma: Taizo win.
_Mikoto vs Yuna: Mikoto win.
_Nao vs Senka: Senka win.
_Masanori vs Jinki: Masanori win.
_Akina vs Hikari: Hikari win.
-_- if you think they let the mc to lose in a tournament then something must be wrong with your head. The others may lost to even the match, but Akina will stay till the end. It's not a speculation or prediction, it's a fact that has been repeated for who knows how long already.
@@kodokutamashi1569 I not saying Akina should leave after he lose, he maybe get second chance in second Destined Showdown.
@@kodokutamashi1569 they said if the result is draw they gonna have another representative duel to settle the last score, akina might be on his second try

@@kodokutamashi1569 It’s not lame. We don’t know for certain what will happen until it happens, like how Akina managed to defeat Taizo, and him losing, but getting a second chance for the final fight would fit well with his character since he’d get another shot at saving his sister.
Now looking back at this episode. Out of all the fated one and destined ones only suo didn't get to activate his divine skill 😂😢
Stravairina : AYEEE!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So it will draw and last fight between akina and kuon?
Anyone got any theories about hikari? Like what her wish might be, and what could she be up to? This episode only made her point out her brother has no selfish desires. What is that about? Do you have any thoughts?
Probably something to do with the past incident. Perhaps she feels either she rob him of his time or her time with him got stolen either. Way her wish might be to change the past
From what I am seeing with the first ep, I am seeing hikari as the person who is trying to help her brother find his own path since most of his life at this point has been taking care of his sister. It's a solid story point lols
She wants Akina to get a life.
Welcome back Imaginary Gift Force I
Might as well return Accel and Protect as marker gimmicks to Divinez 😂.
Idk but why does the singer for Kuon ost sounds like the singer for Kamen rider W extreme dream ost
Yes megacolony dragons! Infinity destined one fights for the royalty!
Also nice detail, that if he didnt draw the critical trigger, suo wouldve drawn one (its the second damage), and probably won the game
14:19 No amount of context can fix that statement
Akinas wish is def going to be wishing that everyone gets their wish
That's Masanori's I'm pretty sure since everyone's wish coming true in of itself is a slight Taboo with this kind of story
Imagine the Veidrock mirror. Basically negate each other.
We are def getting akina vs mr fruity over there
So they fixed the OP finally, also how the hell do the Fated Ones know the Battle Cry
Match over! Winner, Levidras!
It was so being unfaired in this fight. Suo had no Zamuug and no PG. What a nerf.
Didn't he have a Zamuug in his hand (leftmost card), probably thought to save it for Persona Ride turn
lowkey hard for me to believe Levidras is a Stiochea unit since I'm already so used to the furry design of the Omniscient Dragons from Great Nature
Im just hoping Taizo wins! He's got like 1 win so far!
90% he will win. He lost to Akina for plot. If he knows his deck recipe earlier, he will just goes full agro and Akina would be dead in the end. He played safe by reserving hand and he already put strain on Akina's hand. Plus Welstra draw engine is not bad.
@@kodokutamashi1569 He lost to Akina because of his unorthodox strategy that threw him off guard, not for plot.
So basically this is Record of Ragnarok Meets Fate Apocrypha

Infinity is cool i guess but neither the archetype look or effects match Kuon's "pursuit of knowledge" theme and summoning chants. Like, what does a swarm of insects performing multiple consecutive attacks have to do with wisdom 😂

The Greater Holy Cray War has Started!
Bro did not need to call the pg. bro only did it to send a message lmao. This is his way of saying final turn wild.
Eh kinda disagree.
On the off chance Suo survived that PG would have been completely useless against Blang's Divine Skill.

That line sylbit said is basically reverse so finally lore on the void
I think Hikari feels bad that Akina used his wish on her
I think that’s a part of.
I think a big ideal that’s gonna be played in this season is the line taizo said to masanori about wishes vs desire last season
Cause I think in a true sense and I know it not overdress but I think Akina in reality is just trying to face his past and move foward with.
I think Akina just doesn’t want to regert anything.
And what he truly wants his wish to be is to be able to spend time with the people he loves. That’s his miracle. But I don’t hikari can see it that way. And for sybilt that kinda selfless nature goes against human nature
We all knew Suo was gonna lose, Kuon is in the poster for this season. But who is gonna win next fight? Taizo or Kyouma? I guessing Taizo.
Whoever wins set the pacing for legacy vs Divine cast. If Taizo wins then Mikoto and Nao will lose, if Taizo loses, they'll win. Akina is 100% a win vs Hikari, though thar could be a 2 partner episode
My gest winners: Koun, Taizo, Nao, Jinki, Yuna e Akina, then the decisive match is Kuon vs Akina, with the fated winning...
I wholeheartedly think Kuon would still have won had Suo went first
Suo's a Vanguard genius yeah but Kuon is a *genius* genius, the level of knowledge is nowhere even close
The problem is look at his hand 18:43 and he had to deal with 5 attacks that are each over 25k. He really couldn’t block unless he pulled something
Can’t believe Suo lost to make the new last boss look good 😢
What is that rideline g1 skill?
Levidras playstyle like Force marker
Can't stack though. More like advance Dragon Tree markers, but got nothing against Masqnolia though. Because Seroll made the numbers much bigger and has 6 attacks.
Why didn't Suo use his Divine Skill?
Can only be used when having 8 face down cards or more in bind zone.
not enough cards in bind. blagmire need turn 4 for divine skill
Problem is that blagmire needs eight or more cards in the bind zone and would have been more effective if Suo went first.
And not that blagmire struggles a lot with rushing-oriented decks!!! 🥲✋🏻

He is mahito, btw
Kuon is weird bro. He's like a reverse Ren where he's more intimidating outside of Cardfights and gets more playful during them.
Wait, Kagura retired from Gintama to become a Red Dragon Plushie???
Calling it now, the initial 6V6 will end in a tie with Akina, Nao, and Taizo, taking Ws and Suo (as we see here), Mi-Tan, and Masanori taking Ls. The tie breaker will be Akina VS Kuon.
Replace either Nao with Masanori or Taizo with Mikoto. Bushiroads gonna do either the females dirty like they have shown to do or will screw over the legacies
Levidras a dragon that share it knowledge with its allies to support them while also studying there enemy weakness
Levidras and blangdmire really do counter the other one pretty well
Levidras really does exploit blangdmire weakness but at the same time glad it was acknowledged that if suo had one more turn he would’ve won
i felt that akina going to be lost just to fight again after 3-3 draw (Typical vanguard anime style), rematch again against her sister.
Is that unit....dragontree revived?
I would laugh if Masanori Goes 2nd, immediately uses Divine Skill, gets to turn 4, pulls up with Masques Zorga, and beats Jinki and Alden.
Akina : Stop being Chuunibyou and have a dinner right now! my Hikari (- -)

Their interactions at home are really gonna be akward from here and until they finally settle things with their Destined Showdown
