I miss these days of gaming. The animation and music were just the best. And the seizure inducing screen flashes were so... memorable.
Yup i gotta agree i love the classic arcade games like this i would if this game (which i have not played but would love to ) remake or in a collection of some sort
Not to mention we didn't have to pay separately for half of the fighters

The announcer's voice made this game great. Especially for the introduction. It was like a game show.
I agree capcom use to do it right... they even do it with marvel vs capcom

Not only that, when you finished your opponent with a special move, the announcer says the move name. Truly amazing.

In the crowd on the left corner you can see guile and cracker jack from street fighter ex and when you do a high jump in the middle of the screen you can see birdie from street fighter alpha and on the banners a head shot of ghost rider

Those two characters were my main when I used to play this game at my cousins house. Never managed to beat him. Thank you for giving me this late sustitute "satisfaction" 20 years later. XD

Always use to play as Dark Sakura (through MAME cheat). She had the Raging Demon. Couldn't understand her ending since I was playing the Japan version, but she scrolled off screen with Akuma
Used to HATE it when anyone pressed 'START' on the second controller, while I'm trying to play by myself. 'HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!' 😒😒😒

This is the best version of this game. Because psx version is worst cuz so many loading times. So yeah, best Marvel Superhero's vs Street fighter game goes to arcade!! Still love this version!!
The PS1 version doesn't even have all the mechanics intact, either.
Yup well it's the arcade the 1st and the master! Don't bother with the PlayStation version it's horrendous and you'll be an old man before its finished loading, the Sega Saturn version is the only perfect home port because it uses the 4 meg ram cart so all the graphics, sound and animation is there and zero load times.
i didn't even know this game existed. all i knew is marvel super heroes. wtf mind blown.

Arcade 1UP are now making home cabinets with those classic Marvel/Capcom crossovers, including MSH vs SF.

I'll never understand why Cyclops and Omega Red were put into this game. Should've been Iron Man and Dr. Doom.
Omega red is a random choice
Same. Especially Doom since he wasn't playable in MSH and would have essentially been a new character for players. Cyclops I can get because he's the leader of the xmen and yadda yadda yadda.

They did both. X-Men Vs. Street Fighter came first, and this came after. If X-Men can fit together with Street Fighter, though, I don't see why it would make less sense to bring the other Marvel heroes in, too.
