I LOVE this second Orange golden era. Sometimes it seems that guitar player only love past times and old designs, but nowadays it´s an incredible time to play guitar
Another amazing Orange product. It sounds really good from what I can tell. The balanced output with cab sim pretty much just sold me on this. Side note: Orange, if you build a Micro Terror Bass version, I'm willing to bet that a lot of us bass players will gobble them up.
@@ravendemo4980 I think a bass version with a DI would be a killer studio tool and a back saver in live situations. Plus, imagine a band setting up with the bass player using one through a 1x8, one guitarist using the Micro Terror through a 1x8, another using a Micro Dark through a 1x8.......... and a drummer with a 10 piece, double kick setup. 🤣
Looks great and very tempting… 😊 Can you confirm how much power this needs? I can see it’s 18v but what sort of ma would be needed - seeing if I can power via my Cioks DC7 or the plug it comes with will be required
I just grabbed a Super Crush 100 recently and love it so much I found myself wishing there was a stand-alone version of the super crush preamp. Then I came across this product. I know they're both JFET... but how similar is this device to the preamp stage of the Super Crush 100?
Does it just get dirty at the high end of the clean chan? The smaller things O makes tend to not have any real clean room at the top and I'm wondering if this is the same way.
Hello, Ade!!! This box is a great tool!👍 Are there any chances of a head-version of the great Rocker 32...? Or basically a head with that great stereo-loop..? Stereo is king, specially with modulation-effects. I really LOVE the Orange-sound and i'm kind of fed up using my Kemper live now..
If this thing had a Jack for an external channel footswitch it would be exactly what I want. Unfortunately my pedal switcher handles my channel switching duties too, so I’d have to tap dance. Sounds great though
RK FlyRig v2 vs. Guitar Butler ... which one to take on the road ? Well the FlyRig has reverb, chorus, delay, fuzz, and looks smaller. . . Guitar Butler sounds like that classic sound . . decisions decisions
If I worked for Orange I would be upset because all the youtube reviewers don't have a clue how to use this device, and the product launch of this product is getting destroyed by idiot you tubers who play a distorted pre amp device into a distorted amp and the results are so beyond terrible. when this pedal is played into a power amp or return on a combo amp it sounds beyond amazing, a little note to youtubers, a preamp going into another preamp will never sound good
I'm thinking there's a reason he didn't demo the clean channel. Same problem with the terror stamp, not enough headroom. Plus the cab sim on the terror stamp sucks and this one probably does too. J.S. need a better demo. Also, gain on a clean channel is a waste. Should just have volume for clean. Clean is clean, why do you need a gain adjustment?

💯
The "phantom" gain stage is brilliant. Every solid state amp should have something like that
Looking forward to this one!
God I love Orange. I'm running a pedal board into the PA live and this could solve all my issues.
Awesome product! So good to see innovation still alive in these times. Pairing this with something like a Powerstage 170 would be 👌
Orange pedal baby!
@@TheFunnyzach confirm! with a combo GUITAR BUTLER + PEDAL BABY the sound is AMAZING and i do not miss my old rockerverb 100 with 25kg :P
@@doomer1982does it sound like a tube amp or can u still hear the solid stateness
Ade's the man. Got an early AD15 which is mind blowing cranked up. Easily loud enough to gig with too.
This thing looks and sounds absolutely amazing, can't wait to try one out! ⚡️ I also now want to smash an entire box of Cadburys Heroes - so thanks!
Awesome bit of gear. I've been hoping orange would make a fet style preamp and this sounds great! Nice to have the clean sound too.
Design wise, does it have any technical relationship to the Super Crush 100 ?
I definitely plan on getting one! Great things from Orange as always. ❤
The Old Geezer Butler !!!
Pretty cool man.
You remind me of Gregg Allman!
Keep Rockin 🎸🎸🎸
It'd be awesome to have a bunch of beers with Ade.
That and the terror stamp oooh… what a lovely pair they must make as they to make a 412 shake 🤘🏽

I second this Micro Terror Bass Idea. ☝️

Love it man thanks what a fun product!
A real Boffin as the British might say this man is. The advent of the “Guitar Butler” is some good news. ✌️🎸😎👌
Ade, you’re a bloody rock God!
Man! I need to try this in a store soon! Great work!
The best stuff is coming out of Orange these days

Very smart thing to release during these days
Is it possible to plug one of these straight into a 16ohm speaker cab?
You'd need to go through a power amp first.
I was wondering that too....too bad you can't apparently.
@@mr.d.572 Have a look at the Orange Terror Stamp 20w pedal if you are after a full preamp/power amp in pedal format

Will do, thanks.
Wow, that sounds amazing
Ade, you're the shiz... I'm 39 and I still want to be you and I grow up.

Do wish the you would have added a switch for modern (like say a Dark Terror) and classic voicing. Still, this a cool piece of gear
Awesome 👏

Looks like my or15 will have 2 Channels soon :D
nice, but I miss some new Orange tube amps :/
What's the price?
$429 + mother fucking Tax
Or a little under £300 if you're in the UK
Ive just bought a BAX!
Bring 'round the Rolla will you G.B.
Great sounds in this little box. But maybe green led isn't the best choice for a crunch chanel! 😉
🤘😈🤘

Price tag to high. Pass.
I'll second that. I bought the terror stamp and I was kinda disappointed.
