I recently had a medication interaction between my heart medication and my anxiety medication, they both worked with each other and dropped my blood pressure too low. My advice is always consider your other medications for unrelated problems and let your doctor know if there are any side effects. Thank you Douglas! I'm listening to this currently due to insomnia lol. I can't get to sleep nor can I stay asleep when I do. Sleep has become the worst part of my 24hrs.
Ive beem taking clonodine since around the end of the sophomore year of college. Ive found i feel tired even if i sleep for 8 hrs and still wake up in the middle of the night. I used to travel a lot but havent due to fear of not being abel to sleep when i am away from home. Ive also had type one diabetes almost all of my life. I dont want to have to take sleep aids any longer
Very good at what you do Doug, very informative video. I unfortunately have also been taking Ambien for a year now and am looking for alternatives as to lessen my use. Hopefully i can find a safe alternative.
I’m in the same place, looking for an alternative, I’m gonna get a sleep study in case there’s some sleep apnea that is causing me to wake up during the evening. Also, I’m having a knee replacement surgery next Thursday, February 23, the day after my birthday, the arthritis in my left knee has gotten exponentially worse and I can hardly walk. I’ll call you later to talk about it
What makes you sleep but doesn’t cause daytime drowsiness? I’ve tried Remron and it made me sleep but wasn’t worth it because I was drowsy the next day and couldn’t function so I stayed home all day.

I understand about not being able to sleep away from home. I started taking Seroquel and was able to take a trip and still sleep.
