Beautiful episode. This series seems that it may be one for the UA-cam ages. Not to mention beer and biking are pretty much the perfect combo. I hope that blue bike shirt is auctioned off when this adventure is done...
Josh Hallman T.G.I.Falcon! Dude, the blue shirt is washed, folded, and ready for the auction. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll make my money back on it, those things are pricey. #beerbike
Congratulations Peter on winning the Travel Video Award for Best Travel Series! This is such a great series! Not sure I could make that 550 mile trek! And I didn't wouldn't do well assembling a bike after such a long flight... my wheel would probably fall off :)
Thanks Chris! With your enthusiasm and optimism I'm sure you'd manage just fine after a long flight. I gotta say it was quite the challenge though and we experienced a bit of technical difficulties with our bike pedal shortly after assembly :)
Watching this for the first time in October 2022, a full 4 years since this was uploaded and all I can say is wow! The concept and production standard are truly amazing!
Hi Peter, I have just watched the entire series in one sitting. I have previously visited Belgium: Brussels, Ghent, and Brugge and was curious about the beers. You have not only changed my mind about the country but also educated me as well; excellent show. Thank you so much.
Amazing, if only you had more time to visit Ghent and pass Bruges on the way as well. But then again you've seen Belgium in another unique way. Very excited to see the second episode!
Ghent is a world class city. Wish we could've spent an entire day there. It had such a cool vibe. But at least we had the opportunity to spend a night there. Will definitely encourage people to visit.
Thanks James! Jake crushed it with the cinematography. Riding long distances isn't easy let alone filming at the same time. The man was half bike/half machine.
Very cool boys... we loved the whole series. Watched with a group of beer geeks and finished the whole series the same day while sipping trappist beers . Cheers from Sydney Australia. Keep up the good work peter! Your videos are awesome!!!!
This is so great. It's amazing looking at the filming and editing quality when compared to a few years ago. And you're making me want to go back to Belgium and do it properly.
I've been subscribed to this channel since the la-panama canal series. It boggles my mind that you have such few viewers. You need more exposure! Always rootin for you, man
Ok i might be slightly biased as being from Bruges ( West Flanders) but Westvleteren 12 is the best beer in the world and combining this with biking ... well this is a match made in heaven :) I'm actually looking forward to bike there again straight from my home and back the moment it will be possible again. Meanwhile i am enjoying your nice videos. Proost.
Great video! Westvleteren 12 can be considered the best beer in the world by some beer lovers, but it doesn’t reach it’s peak unless it’s been aged for at least 3 years, or up to five years. Since you had fresh bottles of the 12 at In De Vrede, you didn’t actually experience the best beer in the world at it’s optimum.
Great shots, edits and mixing. The content is amazing. Hats off to you for the effort taken. You guys definitely deserve more views. Words from a beer enthusiast..
Man you guys are just awesome! This is a super idea! I think you guys should start a business of this tour twice a year. Once in summer and once in autumn! It would be amazing! I'd be the first to come!
Awesome video again man! No words! Its actually sad how United States is not so bike friendly like Europe :/ Ofcourse some cities and some states maybe but If you want to cross all country. I guess in highways in US its like illegal to go with bicycle and sometimes theres no other choise?
I am not a troll, but I wanted to point out that a lot of these comments seem inauthentic. I gave this a thumbs down because despite the HD video and handsome guys there really isn't substance here.
I know, right?! We only had 10 days to do the trip, so we contained it to all 6 Belgian Trappist Breweries. Perhaps a sequel where we visit the other 5 Trappist Breweries?
So this guy go to try "the best beer in the world" the famous westvleteren 12 and instead he tried the other two beers 6 and 8. I dont know what to say..
Wow....your review of Westy, beer Mecca: 1 minute and 10 seconds: "Greatest beer in the world good? I don't know." "It's so different" "Wild". What a waste of time. Only 9 minutes of mine, much more of yours.
So good. The filming, the narrating. All good.
Beautiful episode. This series seems that it may be one for the UA-cam ages. Not to mention beer and biking are pretty much the perfect combo. I hope that blue bike shirt is auctioned off when this adventure is done...

Amazing cinematography!!!

are you kidding??? ignorant of Belgium! Can't pronounce the towns or beers, typical Yankee ignorance!
Thanks. We went this weekend! So Beautiful! Thanks for the insperation. We went to Westvleteren, Brugge and ieper (ww1)

Even in Belgium Westvleteren beers are hard to find. Cost 20 euros in bars in Brussels. When they have some.

You guys sure are earning your beers! The series is off to an amazing start! Beautiful work!
Luke, you're the man. Thanks for the comment man. Definitely earning the beers....and the hangovers.
Fantastic idea for a trip and first class production. Watched the series in one go (while drinking Westmalle...) - brilliant!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's the best beer in the world! Been there. Want to go again!

Awesome video. I’m going to visit Westvleteren next month.

Great storytelling. Props to the fella filming you and biking at the same time.
I'm so happy to see an upload again.
Happy to hear that.
Amazing cinematography, you've gotten so good. This is so well done. Excited for the rest!
Thanks James! Jake crushed it with the cinematography. Riding long distances isn't easy let alone filming at the same time. The man was half bike/half machine.
@@PeterBragiel I think I've got a new goal in life!
Seconded, curious what kind of camera you guys used to get such great footage on the move +Peter Bragiel
You are back, hell yes! Amazingly fun video, especially as a bike and beer loving European.
Thanks, Jacob! Bikes, Beer and Europe just go hand in hand.
Ohhh my god! I visited that place last year! Congratulations for the video, images, landscapes, sounds, edition and informations.
Thank you Alan!
Very cool boys... we loved the whole series. Watched with a group of beer geeks and finished the whole series the same day while sipping trappist beers

Imagine how hard the beer hits you, after a whole day biking 😋

Great idea for a series Peter! Loved that you already made a friend, that's what traveling is all about.

Man you guys are just awesome! This is a super idea! I think you guys should start a business of this tour twice a year. Once in summer and once in autumn! It would be amazing! I'd be the first to come!

Was your layover in Iceland like 15 hours? Great series though, thanks for documenting.
Did you also tried the 12 of Westvleteren? Thats imo the best of them
really beautifully shot, but you might want to invest in a gimbal or some sort of better stabilization
Mmmmm...beer!
cheers Matthew!

Why not to La Trappe though? :o
I know, right?! We only had 10 days to do the trip, so we contained it to all 6 Belgian Trappist Breweries. Perhaps a sequel where we visit the other 5 Trappist Breweries?
You're welcome in the Netherlands!! We've got more than enough breweries :)
So this guy go to try "the best beer in the world" the famous westvleteren 12 and instead he tried the other two beers 6 and 8. I dont know what to say..
Don't drink and drive! 😁
absolutely.
Rochefort 8 forever
Bro. Smell it first, watch it, smell it again.

I'd rather buy a bike in Belgium. And then after the trip I would sell it..
#Pagans

Much love from southern India
Navjeet
I might do that. Where would you like to see me travel to?
