It seems that a principal thing so many cannot or will not grasp is that the Protestant Reformation was a reformation of something that wasn't the church to begin with. The Acts 2 church has never needed a reformation and never will. Good episode.
I was delivered from 5 point Calvinism, and Liberty University's Wilmington Trinitarian theology program for such a time as this. I do not believe it to be predestination for me but for the church's edification I was given the revelation of the Oneness of God and the gift of the Holy Spirit. I do believe Biblios should offer an Apostolic Apologetic area, but not to wage war but to use the Word as a two edged sword and show our mislead brethren the way to true revelation in Christ Jesus, our God and through whom the spirit reveals all truth. I pray the University of your namesake opens an online program for Apostolic Apologetic very soon.
Have a safe, fun trip to Lebanon! An apologetics section would be great! This was a good way for those of us who have never given Calvinism a second thought to begin to have a deeper understanding of that sect.
Still waiting on that apologetics to come out?? Calvinist I’m particular seem to be dominating the social media platform. Specifically Jeff Durban and Voddie Baucham. Jeff Durban specifically has an apologetics podcast and UA-cam channel that I think needs some good retort.
Great info brother. I don't mean to open a can o' worms, but @ 24:51 you mentioned "the 2nd amendment" in such a way that would imply that if physical, life-threatening persecution came your way you would consider introducing said persecutor to Jesus a whole 'nuther way via 2nd amend. "liberties" shall we say. Could you elaborate? (Perhaps even a segment on gun ownership and self-defense for the Apostolic).
🙂That is indeed a can of worms. I don’t advocate violence or a militia mindset. We rely on the Lord for his protection. That being said, the USA is an amazing country in that the Judeo Christian framework recognized both the dignity of the individual and the sanctity of human life. The 2nd Amendment is one of many rights given to protect against tyranny. Most especially religious persecution like Calvin engaged in. We no longer need to live in catacombs, the lions in the Coliseum or Calvin’s oft used tool, the stake. I don’t advocate it, but I am thankful it exists.
Jud 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. - After they were saved they were destroyed because of unbelief.
The fact you said Jesus is not eternal, refutes everything else you said. You can start with John 1:1. John 17:5 (ESV): And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. Regarding works needed for salvation: explain the works the thieve on the cross did to receive salvation.
New Covenant water baptism is a burial with Christ (Rom 6; Col 2). The thief couldn’t be buried with Christ before Christ was buried Himself. The Holy Ghost wasn’t given until Christ was received up into glory (Joh 7:39). The thief couldn’t receive something that wasn’t available yet. The gospel wasn’t complete when Jesus was on the cross, therefore obedience to it wasn’t required for salvation.
Ex apostolic here, I'm looking forward to watching this fully and possibly making a response on a podcast. Don't fear debate, it'll either make your faith stronger or help you break it down.
I say this in love brother, there's no outpouring of a Holy Spirit in an idolatrous celebration. Easter, Good Friday, Christmas, Lent, etc.; all of them are unbiblical. I love your sermon on the Oneness of God. I whole heartedly agree and you do an excellent job conveying the message; but please study the Death, Burial and Resurrection deeper. I hope this helps: Jesus said the only sign He will give is that of Jonah. He will be in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights [72 hours]. The crucial key is He yielded up the spirit at the ninth hour [3:00PM]. He died on Passover. All of the bodies had to be buried before dusk because then began the 1st day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread [the 1st day and the 7th day are Holy to the Lord. They are High Sabbath days.] because it was a High Sabbath. That means He had to Rise at 3:00PM to before dusk 72 hours later. That instantly excludes a Sunday Resurrection because as the angel told Mary before dawn, "He's gone. He Rose as He said He would." Sunday was the Feast of First Fruits. Passover Lamb - He Died 3PM and buried before dusk on Wednesday. 72 hours later was 3:00PM to before dusk on Saturday, He Rose on His Holy Sabbath Day [4th Commandment.] He APPEARED on Sunday as First Fruits and High Priest. Counting 50 days to the 7th Sabbath is Pentecost - His True Church. He told His disciples on Passover, "Remember Me by doing THIS." God's 4th Commandment, "Remember the Sabbath Day and Keep it holy." God does not change! When you keep Roman holidays in place of God's Feasts, the only Revelation you receive is that He is ONE God. Even the demons believe there is One God, and shudder. Please Pastor, I mean this with all the love I can possibly outpour from my heart ... Study His Feasts. Get out of Babylon.
@@JivTurky1986 Agreed. The good the Reformers did is overshadowed greatly by their crimes. While we can appreciate any role they played in advancing the faith, we can't lend to them equal legitimacy with the Apostles and Prophets.

Very well said.

Thank you Pastor Urshan for another great session of Biblical excellence!
Bring on the apologetics section! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Thank you so much for this Precious truth.
When the doctrine of one God becomes more prevalent & gains strength over false doctrine & beliefs then persecution & death of saints begins anew
Great presentation and quite accurate!
Excellent approach pastor Urshan!
“A time of tightening the belt” interesting phrase. What does it mean?
God bless you, Brother
Love this!

I don't see the link for the biblios store

Easily remedied friend. I’ll do my best to address it again on the next session. The thief in the cross is an important topic to understand.

No fear at all. Just not contentious for contentions sake. All truth is worth discussing candidly.
Carlos Bro. urshan is too busy. we can handle that debate.
What would you like to discuss?
What theological construct changed your view?
What is that white light blinking on the left in the background? It’s distracting.
It is the light on a monitor. Most monitors have a blinking light when the monitor is "asleep" rather than off.

pretty bold to proclaim yourself the "bible network"
Not really seeing they speak truth and you can look up everything they talk about . It’s biblical .
BIBLE TRUTH
The Truth makes you bold as a lion. Truth makes you free, and in that we must proclaim Truth of the Scriptures.
"deep dive"
John Calvin bad
case closed
What a joke
He mentioned Augustine and Gnosticism earlier.
Zwingli was as bad as Calvin, he just wasn't the founder.
Thank you Shaun. There was also the exhaustive scriptural evidence. Hopefully that counts for something.
And there is part two coming this week so…stay tuned.
it's hard to believe that there's still this type of ignorance about the reformers.
🙂Well…to be fair…we do give credit for the good they did. It’s just the murder and Romish pollutants we take issue with.
Many people refuse to dig. They never see the foundation they’re building on.
