Wow. You were just down the road from my house when you stayed at Bruce Pulman park. My granddaughter and I are huge fans, and I know she would have been psyched to meet the person that taught us how to play Pokemon Go. .. Ok I would have been psyched as well.
Believe Soft. Fans? Yes! My granddaughter and I often go for walks at the Auckland Botanic Gardens in Manukau to catch our Pokemon. Nick showed us better catching techniques (she struggles a bit with the curveball - she's 4 years old), STAB, and effective dodging during Gym battles, what pokemon to power up... etc. It's our thing we get to do together, and thanks to Nick, we are both better informed.
Also! Don't forget that you can't capture more than 500 Pokemon in a 12 hr period or hit a 1,000 Pokestops in the same time frame. You might experience a soft ban or more. Have fun!☺
Honestly, it would be cool if Niantic really used their regional spawning more creatively. Mareeps should be common in New Zealand! It would have been amazing to see a known rare pokemon actually be a common spawn in this one area. What a better area for that than sheepland? Another wasted opportunity for Niantic.
They do that to some extent, but not really with special Pokémon. In Western Washington, I've never even seen a Doduo (Except in nests) And I'm level 28. It would be cool to have certain rare Pokémon spawn a lot in certain places, though.
Airports and magnemite are something. I'm from Argentina not a single magnemite but when I arrived Brazil.. there were magnemites so I think there's a connection between airports and magnemites somehow
I live in Cleveland and fire Pokémon are so rare here in the wild. The common grass types like Oddish, Sunkern, Bellsprout appear pretty frequently but I'd love a fire Pokémon event
Man, thank you for making all these videos. All the work you put into them honestly shows and you have an amazing blend of vlog and Pokémon go play. Not only that, but you know you're talking about. Definitely my favorite channel right now. Keep up the awesome work!
The thumbnail was adorable!!!🤓🤗🐸 So excited for the event! It is funny how much I depend on your videos for events since I finished gen one the week before Easter and have been on and off sick. I hope your trip was awesome!!!!
Yay grass event! I am in a grass biome so mostly excited about possible shiny bulbs (favorite starter of all time!) and lures. Hope you are resting and getting your circadian rhythm synchronized properly! Thanks for all the great uploads! And I need that celebi in my life. ❤️
Nick, I'm so glad you are back. I'm visiting socal ...I was like....man, the one time I might have a chance to run into Nick, he is out of the country. I'll be here til Sunday morning, hope to catch you somewhere...
Mareep The Sheep I think i accidently sniped a team member today.. either that or just beat someone to an open spot.. I put my Gengar in and all i hear is "WOW little purple fucking theif" lmfao 😂😂
villaescusa 619 I did a couple of times (till the gym got too strong for me), but im only level 22 and the dude put in a Tyranitar that had 3479 CP so i dont think he needed my help to much haha! Im sitting here wishing to see or hatch just one Larvitar and this guy has the strongest mons ive ever seen lol
So happy with this event, I don't see that many grass types here and need a lot of candy for evolutions that I do not yet have. Also don't have tangela yet :-) Even though I have a bad cold, I will definitely do a lot of walking this weekend! Welcome back home Nick!
I live in a grass Biome with a fire inclination and my local park has a lake with water Biome. Only short on Fighting Type Pokemon so cant wait until a fighting/boxing event
christchurch we made it!! nick you missed out on phenomenal drone footage of earthquake damage. entire neighbourhoods missing. the cbd baron. and a massive central city caterpie nest.
I hope they make this a trend I would love to have some kind of event every other week or every weekend and I really wished that they made it to where it was grass / poison
I can't get a great throw on magnemites either. Maybe because they have a magnetic field (?) or something that slightly defelcts the pokeball which has metallic properties.
George Herracross is even more of a beast! Plus it's a good Blissey counter.. At least your not Japan though with that lame bird Haha But I'm US so I'm not complaining about Touros.
I live near a water and grass biome. the water event was still cool cuz I finally was able to evolve two omanyte. the grass one I'm not really looking forward to. But I'm looking forward to a fire event one day
If there is a next time you come back down under Nick. Go to the theme parks in the gold coast. That airport is great, small but very boring. Thanks for coming :)
Should've had the grass event on 4/20.
GenJotsu that could of always been a 🔥fire🔥 event too
GenJotsu im fucking high asf rn. bro i can smell your milk from your cereal lol share
GenJotsu my exeggutor called Tosh was on the gym, but I change the name for "Legalize it".
Loved "Should've had the grass event on 4/20."
GenJotsu the oddish event
Wow. You were just down the road from my house when you stayed at Bruce Pulman park. My granddaughter and I are huge fans, and I know she would have been psyched to meet the person that taught us how to play Pokemon Go. ..
Ok I would have been psyched as well.
It really hurts when he's near you but it's too late when you find out
Eric Temara he walked past me the other day and I didn't even realize until it was too late
Eric Temara really?
Believe Soft. Fans? Yes! My granddaughter and I often go for walks at the Auckland Botanic Gardens in Manukau to catch our Pokemon. I know the feeling. It's pretty cool when Nick shoots videos is your neck of the woods :) #OCCaliPokemonGO
The thumbnail of the cactus looks like a coctus.... lel
adam franco hehehe
adam franco 😂😂😂
There was the video in which he has bought it and said "Looks like a Dong" 😂
only real nogla fans will understand this!
You know you're on an adventure when you have to catch a pokemon to find out where you are
I live in a grass biome, so I'm pretty indifferent to this event. Now a fire event on the other hand...
James Owens 100% agreed
James Owens where I live it's pure fire/ground 😩
James Owens the only grass types I get are paras and sunkern... on the plus side, larvitar is a rare spawn : )
Blue Comet larvitars spawn in the wild? I only hatched one once and that was basically it
James Owens yes, and after 70kms of walking I now have 35 larvitar candies...
You know Niantic all about that grass life.
ha grass life.
swiftrealm yea dude, go green dude
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD
Admit it we've all moved our phones farther away from us to reach a gym or pokestop
THAT DANG DRESS LOL
Yes that dang gold/white dress :)
You mean the blue one? :D
Do you guys mean the gray and black one? I mean everything is black and gray so why is it so interesting??
i thought it's a transparent dress
Apparently it's true color is Black/Blue, but I see White/Gold and I'm still happy. :P
oh my god every lure in my town (vegas) will be going, this is so fucking awesome!!!
Zapperzz99 your "town" compared to my 6,000 population TOWN smh
Zapperzz99 I remember when I went to Vegas I barely got any cell service so that sucked but when I had cell service it was popping
I definitively wish I could travel all over and also catch some Pokémon.....!
N3rdy Life ugh same, I'm tryna be a pokemon trainer
N3rdy Life Its really hard to be a pokemon master and a college student
It would be so great!!
hassan nassar I bet. Pokemon came out after I finished college. However, trying to work a job and play seems pretty hard too😂
you must be hella old if pokemon came out right after you finished college... I was about 5 years old when it came out lol
Also! Don't forget that you can't capture more than 500 Pokemon in a 12 hr period or hit a 1,000 Pokestops in the same time frame. You might experience a soft ban or more. Have fun!☺
ProdigiesNation They don't want us to get to level 40 😣
ProdigiesNation because of you and Nick I'm pretty damm good with pogo. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
niantic is just dying to make us quit this game. I want to catxh 1000 bulbasaur
ProdigiesNation boi
@3:20. Nick runs out of gas. Gets stranded. Has to eat his Pokémon to survive. Says chikorita tastes like chicken. News at 11.
Lol
When you don't care when Nick uploads and your dedicated to watch his vid XD
RioluTCG - Pokémon GO Too true
RioluTCG - Pokémon GO strategy I had a feeling that I was going to be watching this after my kids bed time :)
*you're
*watching

Those driving shots tho!
N3rdy Life how's that camper van going
Van's almost full! Better get in!
When you stay up late before your AP test to catch Trainer Tips freshly uploaded. Great vids Nick!
Anthony Aloi dude, same!!!!
Anthony Aloi same! Just its IB math HL exam!
Airports and magnemite are something. I'm from Argentina not a single magnemite but when I arrived Brazil.. there were magnemites so I think there's a connection between airports and magnemites somehow
Trainer tips is straight up some of the highest quality content on UA-cam right now
omg loved the blue/gold dress at 2:17, great throwback meme
Flood the gyms with all Grass types all through May!
Gyms around me have daily turnover.
I still think it'll be a fun way to escape the stagnation of seeing the same'ol pokemon in Gyms all the time.
I live in Cleveland and fire Pokémon are so rare here in the wild. The common grass types like Oddish, Sunkern, Bellsprout appear pretty frequently but I'd love a fire Pokémon event
lmao 2:17 I love the little pictures you add Nick!
I'm getting a camper van! Who wants to get in!!?
N3rdy Life Depends. Do you have candy??
Francisco Laurean does she have free fidget spinners 😂
N3rdy Life your not a serial killer are u?
Hugo Valentin Gaming AXE me a different question. 😎
next thing you know you're gonna offer us candy
So glad you're home where you upload videos in the early afternoon instead of midnight where I live!
haven't played Pokemon go since the 2 week of it coming out but I absolutely love your vids and your editing and thumbnails are SOO cool
Man, thank you for making all these videos. All the work you put into them honestly shows and you have an amazing blend of vlog and Pokémon go play.
Not only that, but you know you're talking about.
Definitely my favorite channel right now. Keep up the awesome work!

At 10.23 that is The border of NSW and QLD in Australia , Tweed Heads and Coolangatta.
Wow. 6:59 you literally came out a shade lighter! Lol that must have been one epic adventure
Yay grass event! I am in a grass biome so mostly excited about possible shiny bulbs (favorite starter of all time!) and lures. Hope you are resting and getting your circadian rhythm synchronized properly! Thanks for all the great uploads! And I need that celebi in my life. ❤️
Good to have you back! Always good to hear about an exciting event as well!
The editing was MUCH better on this, and enjoyed it much more than the last two videos/episodes. Looking forward to the last one.
These Australia/New Zealand trip videos have been awesome. Great job bro!
Just like all your videos, can't figure out why they end so fast, they are so entertaining and fun to watch. Love you Nick!
I lived in New Zealand back in 2003-2005. Small town called Eltham in the Taranaki Province. Beautiful country
Nick, I'm so glad you are back. I'm visiting socal ...I was like....man, the one time I might have a chance to run into Nick, he is out of the country. I'll be here til Sunday morning, hope to catch you somewhere...
Yes!!!!! Tangela is the only gen one pokémon I need and I've been playing since the first week of launch and am lvl34!
ripzipripzip what?????!!!!!!!!
ripzipripzip wow That's exactly how I was a couple weeks ago lol. I ended up hatching one from 5k
ripzipripzip need arodactyl and snorlax....
And in gen 2 only unown, donphan, hitmontop and tyranitar
ripzipripzip I have 6 Tangelas (Lvl 30) 😂😂
Glad you got to travel to AU, but I'll really enjoy the steady uploads again! Thanks for all you do Nick!
Last time I was this early
People sniped my gym
Mareep The Sheep good one
Ha. I like puns but, boy is that forced.
Mareep The Sheep I think i accidently sniped a team member today.. either that or just beat someone to an open spot.. I put my Gengar in and all i hear is "WOW little purple fucking theif" lmfao 😂😂
Nathan M did ya at least help em power it up
villaescusa 619 I did a couple of times (till the gym got too strong for me), but im only level 22 and the dude put in a Tyranitar that had 3479 CP so i dont think he needed my help to much haha! Im sitting here wishing to see or hatch just one Larvitar and this guy has the strongest mons ive ever seen lol
Welcome back Nick. Hope you had a good trip.
I think it's cool how he went on this trip all by himself. I often go to places myself and people seem to think it's weird
Hey Nick! For future reference when you have a really long layover sometimes you can book a mini layover tour!
Great video as usual! I loved the music and the camera shots.
Only short on Fighting Type Pokemon so cant wait until a fighting/boxing event
sad to see you go @trainertips
I hope you had a BRILLIANT time in New Zealand!
I've lived in a camper van nearly two years now. Last year while travelling Europe Pokémon Go dropped. Been playing ever since.
That gas intro was stressing me out
owo midnight nick uploads
yay bad sleeping schedule!
depends where you are in the country. some motels charge 50-70 bucks a night while hotels 100-200+ a night
There was so much intensity and suspense in the low fuel scene lmfao.
Welcome back home! Hope you recover from your jet lag 🛫🛫🛬🛫🛬🛫🛬
Welcome back and thank you for the pokemon go update I will look for those grass types.
That part with the time laps of loading the airplane was sick
I just saw a Vileplume on the sightings at a pokestop nearby, but it's 11:46 and pitch black outside right now
Loving the travel advice.. and actually the travel vlogs.. 💜
Thank you for coming to New Zealand
We had quite a few Kangaskhan spawn at Brisbane airport while waiting several hours for a flight. Maybe they like to entertain the tourists :)
Wow, I just realised that Nick gave us over 240 episodes for now. Hats off.
christchurch we made it!! nick you missed out on phenomenal drone footage of earthquake damage. entire neighbourhoods missing. the cbd baron. and a massive central city caterpie nest.
Great video can't wait to see the rest of the trip! Thank you
Love your videos, they've become part of my daily routine!
9:17 my favorite part my god that magnemite gasm
I hope they make this a trend I would love to have some kind of event every other week or every weekend and I really wished that they made it to where it was grass / poison
13:42 His eyebrow look and obvious triumph over packing the perfect amount of underwear haha
Of course, just when my local nest turns into a bulbasaur nest!
I can't get a great throw on magnemites either. Maybe because they have a magnetic field (?) or something that slightly defelcts the pokeball which has metallic properties.
Glad you safely made it back
Great episode. You felt more...confident.
Very appropriate cactus in the thumbnail.
Pokemon to Trainer Tips is like zombies to Walking Dead; they're just a sidenote.
Oh wonderful the one thing I see every single day lol need a fire event
dude youre getting good at memes. keep it up.
I caught a 3 Paris, 5 pidgey, and 6 weedles today! That was fun.
I live near water/grass biomes (haven't had much time out to really get a solid evaluation of the area)
Jesus us Europeans got shafted on the regional exclusives...how can you compare Mr Mime to KANGASKHAN?? Look at what a beast he is!!
George hahaha one is slim and one is fat!
George Herracross is even more of a beast! Plus it's a good Blissey counter.. At least your not Japan though with that lame bird Haha
But I'm US so I'm not complaining about Touros.
JJJ true and Heracross is easy to catch besides having high cp
we have plenty of grass types here in rural areas. so there better be a weekend for increased fire type spawns for us rural players
I live in a pure water biom so the water event was useless for me, but this new event is what I'm talking about! Maybe I'll finally find a tangela?
I live near a water and grass biome. the water event was still cool cuz I finally was able to evolve two omanyte. the grass one I'm not really looking forward to. But I'm looking forward to a fire event one day
The cactus 🌵 in the The thumbnail is 11/10 👌😂
What's funny is that handshape is exactly how you do a "six" in ASL
If there is a next time you come back down under Nick. Go to the theme parks in the gold coast. That airport is great, small but very boring. Thanks for coming :)
I've been waiting all day for this!
Great content Nick, I really love your vids. It's a good mix of pokemon go and vlogging about your journey.
And of course I hatch my first Tangela literally yesterday.
good to see ya home :D
These videos look fun as shit. My nigga really traveling the world on some gotta catch em all type shit. Living my childhood dreams and shit.
I'm in a grass biome. But hey, Tangela, Chikorita, and extended lures, that's something.
I have never been this early on a Trainer Tips video.Anyway thanks for letting us know about the event Nick.
I like how you keep it real man. Real talk. Keep it up!
thanks for showing how much it costs to do a trip like that I'm differently going to plan a trip like that
I live in a biome with a shitload of grass pokémon, but I'm always down for a Tangela with a good I.V. and Solar Beam for training.
2:16 the gold blue dress tho😂😂
love the subliminal flash of that dress that went viral because no ine could say what colour it was (immedialtly after the bulbisaur pic)
that magnemite cluster spawn is just like the other side of my town. i have more than 700 candies and i've already evolved numerous magnemites...
one of the very few ones which catches pokemon himself not by tracker keep it up trainers
I can predict the future. The next event will be a fire type event. That was hard.
I'm in a water biome hoping kind of desperately that they'll do the same sort of just-because event for fire types.
I live in a water biome and didn't see a single totodile during the water festival! So I'm not holding my breath for chikorita this time.
Wow great video nick! keep up your great editing and get lots of rest! thanks for all your commitment to making high quality videos.
