Thanks for a GREAT video WTW - but now what you've done is cause price of that rifle to DOUBLE - BUT WORSE of all the 8 different Amos just TRIPLED,,,,LOL...GREAT VID MAN - APPRECIATE all your efforts and NEVER MISS a single video....👍
Appreciate you watching Jerry
You had 10 boxes and only saw 8 🤔
You didn't use them all 🤨 what happened
I like Hornady 143
That Bergara has certainly impressed me! The fact that it shoots so many different loads to nearly the same point of impact is practically unheard of. Great shooting. Awesome rifle.
too bad it’s like $3000
@@edwardcharles6552 yeah, my $225 R700 Classic is quite adequate for my tasks, but that rifle impressed me.
Bergara is a very good company. They make great barrels and apparently guns now too
My bergara premier hmr pro in 6.5prc will shoot clover leaf 3 shot rounds all day also. Got that for 1500 and it’s taken 5 hogs and 2 deer all from 130-250 yards. Too bad it’s heavy. 2nd most accurate rifle I own behind my ruger American go wild in 6.5cm that will 1/2 holes with eldx rounds. Smoothest action I have ever used in the premier beegaras.
I've got the ridge wilderness 6.5cm and it is a great shooternwith a Great trigger
I have never seen a rifle shoot a wide range of bullets without any shifting of impact. That's a valuable weapon from varmint to white tail.
Seems like a unicorn doesn't it!
My 6.5 Begara Wilderness Ridge in its Grayboe stock and PTG bottom metal shoots beyond my wildest expectations. Hornady match shoots .245" 5 shot groups, the eld-x shoots. 4" groups and the Black just under. 5" groups. Even though I have 30 boxes of different types of factory ammo for it, I haven't bothered shooting any nor have I bothered with reloading all of the various bullets I have on hand.
Begara makes the most accurate 6.5 Creedmoor barrels available for the money IMHO.
Extremely impressive how forgiving that Bergarra is on totally different ammo loads and weights. That is a quality set up.
This is the nature of the 6.5 Creedmoor-to group different brands and bullet weights really good to the same zero. I own a Bergara in this caliber. Excellent video!
They must have put some magic into that rifle crazy accurate system. Would be interesting to see what it does at further ranges. Great video
Agreed… I’d like to see a video at 2 or 300
Awesome performance out of the Bergara, the bang switch squeezer, and the different kinds of ammo. Well done, whotee!
I’ll say the Hornady Match, that’s what my Bergara B-14 wilderness in 6.5 Creedmore likes best. And you’re so right about the bolt being smooth. It has the smoothest action of all my rifle s.
That’s extremely impressive indeed. Very consistent point of impact, etc… as you said.
Hopefully you can do a video taking this rifle and your Seekins Precision 6mm CM out to 1000 yards together.
Happy Fathers' Day everyone! Thanks for the video WTW. Excellent work.
Appreciate all the hard work! I just bought a bergara b14 wilderness ridge in 6.5 creedmoor and was about to run a similar test. Love your channel!
That's a great cold bore rifle, right there. Blessed to find one with same point of impact with that many different gr bullots.
Whatever your buddy is going out west for, better start worrying. Great video
Damn fine shooting - Surprising results - My money would have been on the Hornady Match 140 ELD and I agree, I would still choose that load simply for it's BC. Just imagine what this gun would do with a little bit of "GavinTube" load development!!!! Great video.
That is just an awesome rifle, the poi with 47 grains of bullet weight difference is incredible 😳😳😳 I’ve spent a ton on money on firearms over the years , and I have a 22/250 that can put 10 rounds into 1/4 moa all day long ( with my pet hand load ), but I haven’t seen a rifle shoot that well across 8 different factory loads. It would be awesome to see that rifle , with custom load development, I’m sure it will be a genuine .3 moa result 😳😳😳 good video as usual 👍💯
Some rifles just shoot anything. That is a true shooter in my humble opinion.
That was a very extensive ammo test , very good , Thanks
Thanks for watching Bob
Great video !! finally someone who says "lets test what's most accurate- with this rifle-" to many guys do not mention that..... personally my Tikka T3x roughtech LOVES Hornady Precision Hunter 143's...shot a .23inch 3-shot group during final sight in, keep up the good work !
Thanks for watching!
Wow! Great video! You and that rifle are definitely shooters!
Awesome video with incredible results! That's some awesome shooting you did! I will definitely come to your channel for review's because I know it's an accurate review.
Very fine grouping WTW!! What a fine rifle! Great vid, Thanx
Very interesting, I have a 16" heavy barrel Howa 1500 coming next week! I've been speculating that it will do better with lighter loads, but I'll have to put it through its paces to know for sure. Thanks!
Norma is an excellent ammo maker . I reloaded 222 55grs SP Speer with Norma 201 powder and CCI primer ; optimized load for 100 meters (it works at 200 m too) , excellent .
You put more work into putting out great content than anyone else I can think of on UA-cam
🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much. That means a lot.
Hats off to you sir. The best information on factory 6.5 creedmoore ammo with a begara rifle.
Appreciate you watching
the 6.5 creedmoor in longer barrel chassis style rifles is crazy impressive. I have shot half inch groups from a howa 1500 with Winchester deer season xp.
Thanks for doing all the work WTW. Great shooting as usual
Thanks for watching Jason
That rifle shoots lights out Technology and guns have come a long ways from when I was young enjoyed the video as always
Great video! One bullet you didn’t try I own a 6.5 and tried the same test! A test I also tried was bullet weight retention! The best on the market I found for over the counter ammo that wasn’t pure copper was the Hornady superformance with the SST bullet, haven’t found any other jacketed bullet with the accuracy (wich is phenomenal!) or bullet weight retention …
Looks like Bergara's new carbon wrapped barrels have the magic touch. I have an HMR Premier in 6.5 CM and a HMR in .308. Both easily shoot sub.5 MOA, but the Premier is significantly smoother. I reload, so I haven't run through a lot of different bullet weights. The ELD-X 143gr for the CM has been perfect for hunting and targets out to 1k yards so no experiments were necessary.
Great ammo test! One thing I’ve experienced doing similar tests is the clean bore shot being close and the other two touching.
It would be interesting to see the same test run after firing one or two fouling shots.
Thanks for the great video!
Good video, the rifle gat a lot of potential I own 3 of them,in my experience they get better about 300 rounds to the pipe, in one of them I was able to achieve 1/4 moa @ 100 yards with a Xbr 8208 hand load.
Thanks for all great informative videos.
Thanks for watching!
This video has really caused me some anxiety, like several other subscribers have already commented I am amazed at the consistency of impact especially with the Norma 93 grain ( shouldn’t it be higher). I have a Ruger Predator 6.5 CM and I shoot only hand loads that make similar size groups but I hand load to keep consistent point of impact (Same grains, same powder, same bullet, same primer and same case). Now I’m gonna have to go buy some different weight factory loads to see if the same thing happens with my rifle. I’m sure at longer distance it’s more of a thing but for deer hunting in GA I maybe could’ve just stuck with whatever factory ammo was available. Good video, really demonstrates what a nice barrel your rifle has and I’m really curious what’s gonna happen when I try it 😮
My 6.5 creedmoor Ruger American with the IBI barrel will shoot 98% of factory ammo the same as that Bergara. It's cool when a gun loves to shoot.
6.5 CM was designed for the 140 grain slug.
Good shooting. I have saw some were some rounds shoot different in the cooler weather for hunting than this hot weather. Probably something to check before going hunting. Thanks for the video.
Great factory load test, very interesting group comparison between hornady black and match. Nice rifle!
Thanks for watching Mike
Excellent video; well done!
Awesome results. 👍 I would love to have that Bergara, if I had the funds. My B14 Wilderness Ridge has the shorty 18 inch barrel. I am thinking a light, zippy boolat may not do so well from a short barrel. I dunno. So far it likes the Federal Gold Medal Berger the best. Of course my sample is limited to three . I love Bergara. 😁
Absolutely incredible! Very surprised! Awesome gun
Always nice to have a rifle that's not picky about ammo. I would have confidence taking any of those hunting
Not only is that great accuracy but commonly the first shot after cleaning will be out of the group, excellent!
That is one if the most accurate rifles I have seen you shoot. It a sweet looking rifle.
I love it
Excellent job! I really enjoy your videos!
Appreciate you watching Chris
That bing bang really likes them 140 grains some of the best shooting I've ever seen you do keep up the good work my man
Hey mate, that's amazing how little poi changed with the different rounds, top shooting on your side
Mr Bergara you want to look after this man, he probably just increased your US sales by 100K with this video , I've got bergara 300 PRC and luv it
Top job mate.cheers
Rob
😆😆😆 cheers. Thanks for watching Rob
I prefer the Hornady 140 gr ELR for my 6.5 rifle at a distance but I am looking to find other loads for economic closer-ranged plinking rather than competition-grade stuff. Maybe the Norma it is?
Another good box I shot was selliot and bellot at 140 grain. I was even able to find range ammo from selliot and bellot at the same weight. Along with Hornady Black, Federal Premium with blue ballistics tip.
Wow. I never would’ve guessed that great video.
man great video I'm very impressed with the bergara mg lite.i have the bergara b14 hmr 308 win but it's more finicky about ammo loves Norma whitetail 150 gr federal premium berger 168gr the win deer season did ok a little over 1 moa wish it liked several different ammo like that 6.5 but I have a couple different loads so looking forward to venison in the freezer this fall thanks for the videos have a good weekend looking forward to the next video
Bravo! Ciao from Italy, super video
Not sure how I missed this one, probably my favorite so far.
Would love, love to see this same test on new ruger gen 2 .308.
I also know the secret to the better shots here…longer hair!!! Great work!
Longer hair 🤣
Great video! Thanks for sweatin out there to make this video!
Thanks for watching Ben
That folks was some mighty fine blasting👍
Love Norma Ammo. Wonderful review!
This is definitely the most thurough review on UA-cam featuring a large variety of 6.5 loadings. You do outstanding work Sir!
Like always, awesome videos. Thanx alot WTW 👌
🙏🙏🙏
I hope Bergara buts you a new truck for selling a bunch of bing bangs. I have never seen a rifle shoot so many different boolots to the same POI. Great shooting! Again, your paper plate targets are awesome to clearly see boolot holes, impacts, groupings & written info. Thanks so much. Happy Father’s Day to all the great dads out there.
That would be great. But nope. Just testing my buddy's bergara with my ammo. Appreciate you watching
Impressive, I didn’t like this rifle until I held it. It’s incredibly comfortable. Taking a hard look at this 1 in 300 win mag or possibly PRS for my new long range rig!
That broom cleans really good 👍
Great rifle! I’m going to try some of those hundred grain and below rounds in mine.
Great approach and video. That's an awesome rifle. I guessed the Hornady ELD would be the best group. Would love to see you put up 5 shot groups but I know this gets expensive with this caliber.
I think we found a winner. I have had so many choices to choose from including customed barreled actions but this MG Lite is phenomenal. I might just setting for this rifle.
Awesome weapon very precise hay appreciate you the way you to use and not like were below you like a lot of other people doing these videos very cool
That was definitely a very fun and interesting video !! Your buddy has himself a tac driving smoke stick for sure. !!!! ( :
Thank you for the test ! I am interested in the HMR pro in 6.5 CM and your video was interesting . Take care , be safe Sir
The thing that I would learn from this is for your other tests clean and cool down every time.
I own a bergara b14 hmr. I must say they make some mighty fine rifles
Awesome rifle,very impressive. Good video
What an awesome weapon WTW, thanks for sharing another great video! Hope you have a Happy Fathers Day! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Way back when I started reloading for 6.5 Creedmoor H4350 was un-obtainium so I used IMR 4451 Which at the time several had recommended as second most accurate load. Shot that for about the first year and it was accurate as hell. Easy 3/4 moa. on paper. Soda can at 300yds 100% hit probability. The next winter I wanted to try some Hybrid 100V as everyone agreed this was the powder that gave the highest velocity but almost everyone said accuracy was poor. It is over 100 fps faster than my old IMR 4451 load and now I am shooting 1/2 MOA very reliably. Have huge stock of IMR 4451 for target plinking load and large stock of Hybrid 100V. Someday I would like to try some H4350. But I just couldn't justify more gunpowder purchase at this time. My point is that the 6.5 Creedmoor seems to work well with a wide variety of powders and I think part of it's success has been the fact that almost all of the early factory ammo produced for it came with really premium bullets/ brass that allowed people to shoot circles around military / budget 308 loads. My first hunting rifle (1973) was a hand me down 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser that I have just about wore out , so the 6.5CM was an easy sale for me. Same shoot-ability and outstanding ballistic performance but in a short action and new cheaper premium brass.
That Bergerac is Fire !
💥💥💥
🔥🔥🔥
Great shooting WhoTee nice rifle. 6.5 C is a fine accuracy round. I shoot 127gr.Barns LRX TO .250 IN. at 100 at 200 .750 in. Love it. Good luck and good hunting.
great video and testing. I would have liked to see some velocities on them...but all and all I am quite surprised about the lack of POI shift and the fact that the best group was the lightest BULL LOT at 93 grains.....surprise.
Great review. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Allen
Great video! Thank you for the helpful information. My only complaint is I would have liked to have seen each unfired bullet next to its box. I have never seen a 93 grain up here in Maine.
Great video, I wish u didn't clean before each group but still enjoyed watching
Your buddy needs an Atlas bi-pod to fit that nice arca-swiss rail, nice rifle!
Great vid as always! You may get better results if you shot a fouler shot after cleaning the barrel.
It would be great to see how you calculate group size. 👍🏼 thanks for the video
A lot you do for all of us out here thanks for sharing the information.......
Appreciate you watching John
@@WHOTEEWHO you are so welcome I just love gun's and seeing what everyone else is doing with there gun's.....
The Hornady Whitetail 129gr Interlocks shoot very well for me in my rifle (Winchester XPR).
Impressive! Well done.
Winchester deer season xp is the cheapest at my ammo store in Australia and my 6.5cm rifle loves it.
Just picked up b14. Hopefully it will shoot like this one. Thanks
Great shooting WTW. Have a great Father’s Day. Look forward to more of your vids
🙏🙏🙏 appreciate you watching
When Hank Hill's voice does ammo videos. :)
Great video. My 6.5 loves the Black as well.
Dangit bobby
I love this video great info
Love my 6.5 creedmoor I got 2 savage rifles camber in 6.5 creedmoor I hand load for it on my Hornady ap press
Awesome rifle. You autta get you one of those. Makes me wanna try one. 👍
If you are able i'd love to see some water jug tests with that Norma solid copper. Solid coppers are not something i've had much dealing with but i do know if it expands reliable it would make a great hunting round. The worry for lead and jacket separation wouldn't exist and it should penetrate like a champ. I'm impressed by it's accuracy and i like that gun btw.
Great consistency no doubt with that rifle with light to mid weight pills.Would be interesting to se what 143 & 147’s grainers group like👍🏻.
That’s impressive with that range of ammo for sure.
Your buddy has a awesome rifle like just about everything
I'm sure you've heard me say it many times that the deer season xp is my personal choice, best group with my customized RAP is .25moa, but it's pretty consistent around .5 or less, haven't group tested the 125gr white box hollow points but the poi was exactly the same for me, and have also used it on deer and it does expand, I was actually quite impressed with how well it did, with the cost of the stuff rn I'm trying not to shoot too much but maybe I should go do a group test with it soon, if I do I'll send you a picture, might also do a group test with the deer season xp again, heck might be a good comparison to put em side by side on the same target, hopefully whenever I do it's a good day cuz I'm sure you've had those off days before too where your groups just open up for no good reason at all, cuz ya forgot to eat or drink some water or maybe made the mistake of drinking coffee, idk
That is goin to be a great hunter rig those first shots where dead nuts I have a Bergara BMP 6.5 Creedmoor and it shoots lights out as well Bergara makes an excellent rifle for the price and in my opinion it's one of the better looking factory rifles out there
I love it!
Your buddy got a humdinger of a rifle there now!
Awesome test, Thank You for doing it ! Question if I may, you use an unweighted lead sled, do you have any concern with stock / scope damage using it ? I have heard / read, of this happening as there is little recoil dampening / absorption. I guess as it is unweighted, it is OK ? Interested on your thoughts. Thanks Again !
Never had any issues w using the sled
Awesome rig, nice shooting WTW
🙏🙏🙏
Amazing and super surprising 👍👍
WTW. Have your buddy get some 143ELD-X Precision Hunter. Especially if he plans on coming out here West to Hunt Mule or Elk.
And I hope you realized what cleaning the barrel does between different loads can achieve. This is how we break in every new gun. Shoot, Clean, Cool , Repeat. But you should be using a Solvent not Rem Oil. And clean from Bolt to end of Barrel. So carbon and copper won't fall into the chamber area.
Great shooting!! This BerGara would be incredible to pack around the Elk mountains All day where I'm from.
