Pile 3 really described the last 6-7 years of my life. I am surrounded by engineering and medical school friends and family, which really influenced a lot of my life decisions. So I started out majoring in Biology in hopes of going into Med school, but the classes really kicked my butt. Then I switched to engineering, which went well, had internships, research opportunities, and good grades, but had a barely passing grade in one class, which was the main reason why the engineering school rejected me. I ended up feeling like a failure in the two fields I had limited myself to, so I let life take me wherever, which landed me in marketing. I know nothing about business and developed imposter syndrome. And I was exposed one day and got fired from my marketing job. In my time of hibernation, I rediscovered my love for the arts and developed a passion for UX/UI Design. I'm taking classes in it as of now and really enjoy my time in it. I learned to not personalize my past failures by telling myself that each of those failures is actually a spiritual guide causing these series of events in order to guide me back to the right path.
Pile 3! 🖤 Never really comment on readings, but this time I had to!! Straight away all I could think about was The Nightmare Before Christmas and how Jack felt so empty and discouraged to continue his journey as the Pumpkin King. This reading got me emotional because it's exactly how I feel right now, disheartened and really lost about how to move forward in life, if I want to continue on the career that I chose for me or if I should change my path entirely... It's crazy how spot on it was. Gives me hope that I'll be able to figure things out and live a more fulfilling and purposeful life in the future. Thank you for that, Kino!
