    Nice review, waiting for the BigBlue 63W vs BigBlue 28W comparison

      Check out the 120 watt version of BigBlue.

    Have you tried charging with some of the panels folded up? Ive seen other reviews of other panels, where if they completely block the sun for some of the panels, the whole thing will completely stop charging, because the blocked panels will act as resistors

    I have the SUAOKI brand and I get about 60 watts and it's the 120 watt model. in actual use you got about 50% . I have a 25 watt also and same 50% . best to charge power bank. I have several . I have ANKER powercore+ 26800 .works great and has 2 USB inputs .for the best charging is to use 2 panels . some ratings are the solal cell itself under perfect sun. the regulator takes power to work. when all done works 50% in good sun. and some rate the panel to the output of ports and not what the solar cell puts out .

      You are right ,after testing now several pannels , you can normally get 50% out of the rated wattage , and indeed in very good conditions a bit more

    Hello, thank you for this feedback. Some people talk about disconnection and reconnection problem when a cloud passes, have you ever had this problem? Does it still work well since posting this video?

    I do not have much knowledge of voltages and energy and have a question. If the sun is strong and I can get more W, for example, 55W, would that hurt my Omnicharge 20,000, I mean can you burn the battery inside the omnicharge 20000 because I think I read somewhere that the power should not exceed 45W?

    50% efficiency is about right for these panels

    Hello! I think i'm interested in the product. Need to charge my laptop offgrid.
    Question: Does it comes with an external battery (in order to charge the laptop), or do i need to buy it separately?
    Thanks

    • @constantech4342
      @constantech4342  3 роки тому

      Hi , it does not come with a battery , you would have to buy one . I am not sure what laptop you use but it would be recomended to have a low powered one , not sure how much you want to use it . I would sugest something like this amzn.to/37Pe5uy , this is able to be charded with the DC cable and able to charge laptop up to 19~20V with maximum 100W . If your laptop charger is lower than 100W is not a problem , laptop will draw how much it needs , if it is over this 100W then the laptop will not charge as fast or may experience lower performance (if is a gaming laptop for exemple) . You can also plug this directly to the laptop if it has a compatible port but probably is not advised as charging speed can varry and you would get max @30W . If you want to charge it directly probably only if you are not using the laptop should work , but is better if you can have a battery in between .

    Hallo Alex, danke für für das Video. Ich habe eine frage. Welcher Solarpanel hat mehr Leistung und kannst du empfehlen, die von 28w oder 63w. Oder würdest du komplett etwas anderes für unterwegs empfehlen?
    Vielen Dank noch mal.
    Grüße

      die 28W würde ich nur verwenden, wenn ich ein einzelnes Gerät wie ein Smartphone aufzuladen hätte und ich viel Sonne habe, wenn man etwas anderes aufzuladen hat, würde es Sinn machen, die größere zu nehmen, in der Zwischenzeit habe ich auch andere Solarpannels, aber in diesem Leistungsbereich habe ich nichts besseres zu empfehlen

    You will never get the full wattage from these panals. I have an Anker 21w. The rating is by the USB socket. So to get the 21w rating it's a 2.1amp x 5volts=10.5watts.
    There are two usb sockets 10.5wx2=21w.
    So you had the best you could get out of that panel already.

      Yes , I was hopping to get more with the DC barrel connector , as I have the portable "solar generator" , where I can plug it in . It is a shame it does not show the input power .
      Anyway , I understood that for this size is actually pretty good result .

      @@constantech4342 I don't think these panels are good enough yet with consistent strong power but they are great for charging powerbanks via usb. Still, I might buy one soon for this reason.
      But I will buy the unbranded one from China. I have just bought a blank one that is just like my Anker panel. I will post a video about it when it arrives

    Hi Alex, ich habe das 42w Solarpanel von Bigblue. Dieses hat 2x Usb und 1x DC ausgang. Der DC Ausgang soll bis zu 18v und 2.3a liefern. Weisst du wie ich den DC ausgang benutzen kann um über USB C etwas zu laden? Meine Powerbank hat leider keinen DC eingang

    • @constantech4342
      @constantech4342  Рік тому

      depends on the power bank itself , how much it limits the charging , if we assume that the power bank is fast enough , 10000mah is @36.6Wh , so I would say 90 minutes , but again this depends mostly on the power bank if it can take or not the full charging speed of the pannel , there are plenty of good power banks that can charge at up to 100W

    I just bought one amazon cost me 139 plus the 8 dollars shipping I hope it’s worth it cuz I’m not a tech wiz but I need it to charge my iPhones and my power banks only and small portable fan ... for outdoors uses

    • @constantech4342

      That will work fine . To make the most out of it it depends what power bank you have , because if you have a cheap power bank it will restrict the charging speed . The best it would be a power bank with DC imput (barrel connector) that can take 45w . It will charge phones at the speed of your wall charger
