I work on this plot A LOT and this is AWESOME, well done amigo!
I like that you can begin by turning the card face up and have them look for slits. That helps give a moment after the end of the effect for you to switch the card. They won't immediately just assume the card is cut so can react without first just wanting to grab the card!

Thanks for showing us another visual magic gimmick. I love this stuff simply because it looks so " magical". Sadly I have only two red and two blue bicycle decks my wife ordered for me online, and I want always to have a duplicate ungimmicked card to hand out for inspection ( I don't actually perform magic, except for family and friends, but I'm permanently fascinated with illusions of this sort since the age of 9.) Many materials are expensive and distant from here in NZ., but I can always enjoy stuff on UA-cam, such as your chsnnel.

I've watched too many of Lloyds videos...
I watched the demo at the start, paused it for a minute and managed, "That is clearly a complete card at the end... so...I'm not going to be able to do this wearing a dress-shirt... and maybe... three cards? That snap back looks familiar, so I'm guessing there will be an Amazon link as well....." From that point I should have been able to figure the rest. But my brain was still insisting "two cards" and using the gap like a track...
Brilliant visual effect, if I hadn't watched about a hundred of your videos I'd still be scratching my head tomorrow.
Would it be too obvious if it were an extra card deep, with a face card tacked to the back?
In essence flip the face card in the gimmick construction so that both sides of the gimmick show the back? That way you could hand it straight to the observer after dropping it on the deck.
It would open it up to use the gimmick for a selected card or even a "signed card restored"?
Reminds of a old trick I had with rings and one ring was covered in felt to blend in and you could make coins disappear under it I loved the trick ❤
