You guys are awesome, thank you for allowing us to share in your journey. Mr Charles you seem like the kind of guy I would've loved to have as a mentor, but I'm not complaining about the one I had. My Daddy taught me everything I know now about good southern BBQ, he taught me that if you know what you're doing and you cook with a love for cooking bbq, that it comes through in the finished product. And you sir con with love, I can just tell that from watching you!

I meant what I said when I mentioned enjoying watching your journey, one day I'd love the opportunity to meet you in person and pick your brains about how to successfully run a bbq business. My wife and I have been together since our late teens and now in our mid 40s. You guys remind me of us, like alot.👍

Nice set up. I like to use apple cider vinegar to spritz. But yes, anything with acid will help brake down the connective tissue and make it more tender. Great video.

One suggestion I would hope will help is, to isolate the noise from the generator. Especially if folks are eating onsite.
You can get a longer cable and move the generator. In fact, longer cable and leave it in the pickup. Also, normal fiberglas insulation is a great noise suppressor and is cheap. You can lay a single piece over the muffler area and make a huge difference. Rockwool is another excellent noise suppressor and is relatively fireproof. A doghouse over the generator, insulated for noise, would be ideal. But again, you can just lay it strategically around the generator to control the noise if you want to experiment with what I'm suggesting.
But I'd still stop at your place even if I had to speak up! Looks great, good luck!

Customers don’t eat at our site unless they stay & eat in their vehicles. We have not tried the rockwool, but we did have a cover and it helped. This video is about two years ago and we have been in search of a quieter generator that is 10000 watts. We were told if it is 10000 watts will be very loud. While we have this time always from our business we are working on that.

Quiet down the generator. Put a muffler on it from a car and build housing around it and add a fan so it stays cool.

Hi Courtney knowing that you want to start a food Trailer is the first step. Find out what dishes you would enjoy creating an also is that something that would sell good in the area that you live in or would be selling too. You don’t want to create something that is hard to sell. That will hurt your business.
We have another video up that shows how we got started (in Florida) if that helps. If you are going into a business with someone (trust) is very important. It’s a lot if paperwork don’t let that turn you away. Just know the skies the limit. You work hard and you will see the blessings. Blessings to you, Lady Boss💞
