The vocal guitar solo was the most impressive thing I've ever seen anyone do. That video was absolutely incredible.

You almost brought me to tears. I had it on full volume with headphones in because I needed to only have that music on my mind, and I could easily say it was one of the best feelings I have ever felt. Damn my ears are ringing, but this changed me and I can't stop smiling. Swept me off of my feet.
Ok! This guy went through 4 fucking octaves. Outrageous! This guy deserves more views and subscribers.
I would have said that was impressive if there wasn't any computer-aided editing going on, but as there is, it's actually quite easy to edit pitch. Especially in the guitar solo.
Not saying anything bad about how much time this must have taken, but it would be notable if he actually performed this without any editing.
jrdennis95 I haven't changed any pitch...I just melodyned some bass notes which were too shaky (I'm not bass but I trained myself singing in vocal fry) Solo notes weren't edited at all...I just added some distortion to have that sound guitar more realistic ! If it's that easy, go on and try it....DUH !
JB Craipeau By saying you've Melodyned (which, for others who don't know, is a pitch correction software), decreases the overall effect it has on me. I'm not here to boast, or say anything that I can't back up, but I can get that Bb in four octaves without editing. Likewise, if I was to edit a friend's attempt, it would be relatively easy.
I didn't come here to argue, or insult. I simply said, musically, it's not that impressive. As a video, it's entertaining.
jrdennis95 Check out JB's plethora of other videos, singing close harmony with spot-on pitch in many, many styles. He's a killin' instrumentalist, too. Anything produced for the pop realm is edited and/or processed in some way. That doesn't mean you just create the music with a computer. JB sings live in many groups and is pretty flawless.
I think it is pretty amazing. But sometimes people who do acapella covers use this things to change the octave of their voice. THOUGH BEFORE YOU START HATING ON THIS COMMENT, he might not have. I just know a lot of people who do that.

I used a guitar setup for the solo ;) and I recorded each part twice to have bigger sound. (except lead and beatbox) THANKS !

Ive checked ur vids out and i never was a big fan of these video complimented acapellas, but you mix effects to your vocals so well it is amazing. And the video portrayal of the effects is so solid it makes me wonder how you've done so many

Amazing talent on this. There is some voice modulation for effect, but I really don't think it detracts from the fact that this guy has an amazing range and ear. To pick this song apart the way he did and reconstruct it in so many tracks - I prefer this version to the original...breathtaking, simply spectacular. 3:50 is where I got goosebumps...

awesome! thanks a million! =) I used audacity for my first 2 songs but wasnt quite satisfied with the audio quality, gonna try out Cubase now. What audio software do you use? Also im starting to get better at video editing too now :) I use Magix video edit pro 2013. works nicely for me! :) Been following you since i saw your come all ye faithful video! love it! =)
