Dude the fact that we could have had something like this in live action with the Snyderverse is something I can honestly never forgive. Sure it would have been a dark ending but I honestly believe that it would have cemented it as one of the greatest franchises ever
I dunno man, I feel like Snyder was going in a different direction. You can see the differences when they cover similar territory. Death of Superman was such a good movie and it really hits hard. The fight with Doomsday in that movie had such higher stakes, with Superman trying to save people while stopping the monster at the same time because he's the only one who can. And then the ending, when Ma and Pa Kent aren't even allowed to attend his funeral? Heartbreaking. Meanwhile BvS's Doomsday battle was a big CGI slam fest on an abandoned island.
All stories must end for new ones to be told. It's sort of like, "If you don't come back you haven't gone to get ice cream. You've just gone to where the ice cream is."
For me, I'm just gonna imagine that after Constantine told flash to go for it for one last time so the timeline can be fixed, I know is not like that but that make me feel better 😢😭😭
I rewatch the entire series of these movies nd bro great animation, amazing story lines, great character choices, the voice acting was on point; my favorite voice actor was for captain boomerang; and the final Justice league movie the ending had me sad but in a good way.
I feel like the flashpoint paradox is still probably the best movie of them. But i really enjoyed SS:Hell to Pay. Somehow I missed all the Constantine stories (not a fan of the dark magic stuff) and seems he played a big role
his role was massive throughout the whole thing. all the apocalypse war stuff was single handedly a direct consequence of all of john constantines sins / personal choices.
I don't know for many of you but for me this line of DC animated cinema is not over. Seriously, I don't want to get into any kind of popular debate, but this universe left a lot of things that didn't end up being resolved. And, honestly, a certain ending they gave it was more clearly seen as a kind of purge unfairly set up with the intention of using it as an excuse to reassemble a new universe that would give them more money and bigger profits from, what we could call: fan interest. An interest that would drive the fans crazy; those who were completely unaware of DC animation, and would guarantee them more fans who didn't bother to see a single installment of this universe, and after seeing a new movie (Superman man of tomorrow) would open up a new wave of fanboy madness that would bring them more hype and less numbers in low sales and interest. Especially, the kids. Well, I don't think it's working. Because the new universe is NOT bringing much hype at all, and truth be told, eliminating this universe was the worst decision they made in the entire history of superhero animated entertainment. There may be those who like the new DC Animation installments, but you have to see the reality of things to bring awareness and understanding to the terrible thing that is happening with these movies. Phil Bourassa should not have been fired. His proposals and his designs are unique, and enriched all of DC Animation. They need to bring him back. There's a reason Kevin Feige has always said, "Don't fix what's done right."
The original timeline in comics is called "New Earth", then came the "Flashpoint" timeline, and later the DCAMU universe or in comics are called "Prime Earth".
The biggest crime with all these movies is that they are no longer all on one platform so you can’t watch all the “New 52” movies in the same place, in order, and mainly FOR FREE.
I really liked the dark apokolips timeline for the most part. Sure it wasn't perfect as a few plotlines just dropped like a rock and some of the major enemies get killed off screen like joker and Amanda waller but overall it's a fun ride Wish we got some cartoon episodes in between as we needed it with wonder girl and super boy not having any development after their movie or at all and
I agree same with kid flash they only showed him twice. one in a flash back in the judas contract where he was white and then the one in dark apollo ops war where he was black. We know nothing about the character at all
What I really wished for was a Red Hood film right after Teen Titans the Judas Contract, if they put Robin (Damian) and Nightwing then why not Red Hood. I’d just imagine what Jason would look like in this universe plus he would help a lot in Justice League Dark Apokolips War. Maybe even in Judas Contract, to make the film more lengthy Nightwing would’ve actually gotten shot and Red Hood picked him up, talked with him, and when the Titans were losing to Brother Blood, Nightwing and Red Hood would make an entrance and save the day
Dcau with justice league unlimited has one of the most tight timelines of them all. All the cartoons remembering small details from batman tas superman tas all the way to batman beyond was incredible to see. From lex getting shot by brainiac to Hamiltons betrayal all being set up years in advance. Season 2 of jlu with the Cadmus arc is the best one where everything comes together. The movies are probably the only thing I don't enjoy as those plotlines need more than an hour and a half to flesh out especially meggan who just appears while martian manhunter was said to be the last martian and their enemies aren't white martians in that universe
I'm actually really interested in Original Timeline Batman because it doesn't seem that he has a Robin since Flash doesn't bring up the idea to Thomas Wayne yet this OT Batman wears blue which you'd think he would only wear if he had or has a Robin. Makes me wonder why they chose a different uniform color instead of just a different design. We will likely never get this version of Batman despite Tomorrowverse's Crisis movies; I still find myself being really interested.
Man this Movie Universe was shorter than my entire High School career. Funny how Wonder Woman finally got her own film literally RIGHT before the damn reset.
I liked most of the movies. They did leave alot unanswered but i guess they left it that way cuz they felt like the fans could fill in the blanks ourselves. The tomorrowverse has been ok so far. I missed the supergirl movie though. But even that universe is still leaving alot out
I like the current style, but the most recent movie clearly had a very cut budget because there was little by way of facial animation. Super Sons looked great.
Why DC animated is so good than their live action counterpart. Same goes for Marvel, their live action movies are good (Infinity Saga) than their animated movies.
My favorite DC Animated Movies so far are: Son Of Batman, Batman Vs Robin, Batman: Bad Blood, Batman Hush, The Death Of Superman and Reign Of The Supermen!!!
I saw Legion of Superheroes 2023 Movie and thought what if you made a poll to include an evolution of Supergirl, Braniac, S.T.A.R. Labs, or Kryptonite?
After seeing the Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too movie that got leaked online, can your next poll be an evolution of either Krypto, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Lex Luthor, Solomon Grundy, or Green Kryptonite?
So no one gonna ask if justice league war really took place months before or years before because they would’ve known about Batman and everyone of the titans had been together for years
I know that everyone wants a live action of these movies but I think the DC animated universe is just perfect I don't think it needs to be turned into a live action.
One thing I’ve been wondering is does this mean Constantine is dead dead or is it possible he can come back? I also wasn’t sure if what consumed him was the anti monitor and that a crisis is coming or not

Everyone knows/thinks that the Tomorrowverse is just the rebooted DCAMU, but there's actually no evidence to support this. Nothing in-universe has even hinted to this and nobody involved in the making of the films have confirmed this to be true. For now, the Tomorrowverse should just be considered a newer continuity succeeding the original DCAMU.
Ummm. That IS a rebooted universe. "Time Boom, Barry. All those ripples, expanding from whatever you changed." Though personally, I like to think that Barry accidentally stuck them all in a recursive temporal loop, spanning from FPP to JLDAW over and over an you get the idea. Perhaps a future Elseworlds movie could revisit it a la S:TNGs episode 'Cause and Effect'.
@DarthBetton that's just it though, it doesn't need to be official. The DCAMU is finished, and Tomorrowverse is what we have now. For better or for worse.
Hey I have 2 questions. First is what happened to John in the final movie after the universe price thingy? And second is the tomorrowverse a direct recreation of the DCAMU like you know the new timeline or universe flash created after the second flashpoint?
My takeaway was that Constantine is now in like eternal damnation or something like that. As for the Tomorrowverse, I think it's a new timeline, because I don't remember Man of Tomorrow having any similarities to the DCAU.
I watched Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham; and maybe you could do an evolution of either Green Arrow, Commissioner Gordon, Two-Face, or Jason Blood/Etrigan the Demon Maybe you could also do an evolution of Batman having superpowers or Batman Transformations
Honestly, I think apocalypse war or WW bloodlines was the best in my opinion. Kind of hard to pick favorites because they all have their little role in the series, but I think it’s kind of a complicated timeline to follow because it’s not really a timeline. It’s three.
Man I just knew that this all had a timeline and correct watch order I mostly just had a feeling about it that's why I haven't seen almost any of these cuz it feels weird to just watch one and not the rest of them and definitely not in order

DC is well known for Bittersweet Endings. Yeah, the good guys win, but at what cost?
Kind of sucks to get invested in a whole universe just for everyone to die and get erased in the end…
Yeah I am in the middle of realizing that is the ending after watching all of them in order, shit kind of pisses me off

I loved this new 52 version of dc animated! To me this was on par with the MCU! I wish it didn’t end!😢
The New 52 ending is a paving way to Rebirth.
DC Animation were in their bag when they made these movies. But they struggle to replicate the same quality in their live action movies😢
