I've relized I dont like Mr Bills music but I love watching him produce because I learn so much. Not sure how you go from something this beautiful 1:25:25 to something like this 7:25:20
the first drop you made with the 3rd harmonic housey bass was sick why did it go. also the ambient passage with the atmosphere, the arp, the weird serum melody: that could have been a sick outro tk the song
@@TheVitorMusic Thanks. Maybe check my channel. After having a Magic Mouse for the last decade and then switching to PC I would have to disagree, hence my question for Bill. I currently have a 50 quid logitech and it doesn't come close in terms of ergonomics and usability. @@markderv I use some MSI mouse that came with my MSI laptop lol. But before that I was using a Razer Deathadder (and really liked it). I agree, I think having a really good mouse that you can get around quickly with is pretty important!

How the hell does one learn to make chord progressions like this? Even when I do manage to make a decent chord progression, I can't stretch it out this long..
It helps to sing or hum the melody you want and then it’s kind or trial and error. You’ll get better with practice. You can use apps like Tenuto on your phone for ear training. Intervals are the most helpful one to work on. I think he’s just winging it here but I don’t really know.
Hi guys, ableton CPU issue, i have 20GB Ram, and i just cant get the Live11 CPU down, even just one Serum and another synth layer makes the whole thing slow and laggy, any tips? i've messed around with the latency and nothing works, thank you so much.
Do someone know what did he put on he's master track ? I only watched bit by bit and I reckon at some point he's master stops clipping, he must've put a chain or a limiter or smth. I would like to know what ! Good stream nonetheless ;)
Think hes said his master is a bass mono with DC on then a limiter but take that with a salt grain. I imagine for clipping he just slapped on a limiter
Jesus Christ, the last time I watched something for 8 hours I thought I lived in Westeros. I've been to Australia once and I ain't going back there, even if it is just a mental breakdown. Have you heard of episodes, piece meal it, an hour at a time.... an hour is still too long to watch a marginalized producer scratch his balls, while pondering if he will ever be able to play live to more than five people again, while he spends the next two years living on $3.76 from music sales. I've got a bit more time on my hands, but both hands are on the gun, and I can't do it watching this for 8 bleeding hours. I lost access to the kids for making them watch Peppa Pig for 8 hours, that was considered mental cruelty, and yet far more entertaining than this. 8 hours!!!! What ya thinking!?

It would be unfortunate if comments like yours discouraged people from doing these streams, that’s all. Don’t really care to measure creativity dicks with you
@@loucii8212 I don't have to pay some preset-wanker producer wannabe, so he can show me, how he can import midi made by someone else and drop it into Nexus and call it a track. Your music is, to say the least, mediocre and goes well with your wannabe-attitude. Now shh boy.
i learned more from watching this stream than I have from all the music masterclasses combined...

8 hours of him rendering that stratched arp in real time
I always learn something new when Mr Bill speaks. His production vocabulary is encyclopedic.
really cool to sit in and watch something rise to the surface. Thank you A+
Love watching artists work. Thanks for this ADSR. I've got some similar "in the studio" videos on my channel you might enjoy
mans been on the grind for so long
Do you have a cut down of this stream?
Could you chop up this video like you always do mate?
I love the arp progression. Thanks man for the inspiration! Cool workflow ;)

I'm always coming back for 30 mins or an hour. Love long content like this!
Same here, they should do some more ultra long production sessions!!!!!

Thanks mr bill
Mind blown. Skills
a few years later and im still wondering if this was finished and if it will ever be released, i cant get enough of this track

Music making isn't gaming you know? Just about any mouse will do.

still unreleased

generic glitch hop 637

actively listen to stuff you like and lots of practice. You have to put in the work to develop your ear / intuition

How are you recording with no headphones? How is the sound from the monitors not interfering with the mic?
probably a directional microphone
The music sidechains the mic, so there's no bleed if that's what you mean. If you mean feedback, he's probably not monitoring the mic signal.
