This really comes through for my daughter. I'm a first-time mom and sometimes I don't know how to put my daughter to bed. It seems like I just found the remedy. This reminds me of Jamaica when I was a child. I was born in America but my mother's family are Jamaicans so I used to visit them alot growing up. In Jamaica a lot of houses have tin roofs. And when it rains and the rain is hitting the tin roof and your inside or on the veranda...one of my most peaceful moments in my life. Now listening to this brings me back to that 11 year old me relaxing to the carribean rain. Thank you 😁😉

As an old brokedown military veteran, suffering from the terrors of the PTSD I’m still dealing with 45 years later, I understand what you’re faced with, my friend…& this is a fight even family/close friends don’t always comprehend. There’s no describing it to those fortunate enough never to have been basically ambushed, picked up, & slammed on the concrete floor of their own inner headbones, mentally tapping…sometimes physically-experienced. Those of us who are going through these uniquely-individualized horrors tend to feel as if they’re all alone, in every way possible. It hurts. Sometimes it destroys. Had it not been for the veterans’ support group I came to know & love, I doubt if I could’ve made it back from this awful edge-of-the-cliff struggle. Please know that you are NOT alone…that there are people who “get it”, & who CARE. My support-group buddies have made all the difference in the world to me, as I’ve made my way through the struggles. We’re currently prevented from in-person meetings, but we can still call/text each other when we need to…my prayers are with you, & with all those who are part of these battles. I’ll be thinking of you, & sending you the same positivity, hope, strength, & peace that I’ve been blessed(of a sort) with. God be with you, & bring you through all the storms you’re facing. Everything will be all right. 🌟✌🏽🌟
