As someone who has been a REFIT®️ instructor for 11 years, I appreciate the variety of genres available to the masses. We strive to live up to the REFIT®️ is for everyBODY motto and using different types of music is one of the ways that is achieved. I personally wouldn't be able to use it in the venues I teach at, but I am certain many people can and it will be a huge hit. If I could, I would but I know there are hundreds of other routines that I AM able to use. If this one's not for you, check out the many others on their channel. I'm sure there are some people who weren't the biggest fans of last week's faith based routine for many various reasons. To each his/her own. Choose what's best for you and your style and go for it. There's no need to post negatively about it. I look forward to seeing the results of the challenge. It's such fun choreography!

I can't do this one in my classes unfortunately. Not kid friendly or Church friendly. I am glad that you use a variety of music so that we can pick songs to use. ❤️. There are still a lot of songs I can use.
I like it! If you can’t use it in classes, do this one at home. I also like the choreography. As a woman, I love to feel sensual and move my hips. So, I love that these ladies are doing that.

So fun! As instructors we do not need to teach every song, we get to choose what resonates with us. For those who are disappointed in the lyrics, just don't teach it. I cant teach outwardly Christian songs due to my class demographic and that is okay. Having something for everyone is a good thing!

Everyone has a right to their opinion..... That being said, some of these comments are harsh... ACE works hard to give fresh content to everyone. There are some songs I won't use, but I look at the choreography, and say.... "NEXT"! We are not always going to agree, or like what is being presented, but PLEASE be kind or make your comment privately. Mean girls do not rule! That is not the REFIT way or the reason we became involved with ACE!
I understand your point… however, the reason my mom and I became involved with ACE was bc Zumba was getting too raunchy, both in lyrics and choreo. Then we found Refit - and it was presented as a positive, uplifting dance fitness format. It was clean and fun and we fell in love. But over the past several years, that has changed. I am sorry if my comment was one of the harsh ones you were referring to. It was not my intention to be mean, and I apologize if it came across that way. I’m just frustrated that Refit seems to be moving away from what it was purportedly founded to be.
We work hard to provide variety for everyone. We understand not all will be liked, and that’s okay. It’s important we mix it up from time to time for all involved. 💛

I’m surprised at a lot of these comments. I can’t (and don’t want to) use praise or worship songs, but you won’t find me commenting how much I dislike. I take what I can use and leave the other stuff behind, but you’ll never find me putting down someone else’s jam. If you want to shake your booty and feel sexy (YES PLEASE) that’s great! If you’re religious, also great. Take what you want and leave what you don’t alone. Every body belongs here.

REFIT is a fitness format designed for everyBODY. That also means the music choices will reflect that same vision. This may not be your cup of tea but it is only one song of many to choose from I personally couldn’t sit still in my seat while listening to it! Well done ladies as always! ❤

Wow. The negativity here. Like christians don't have sex. Everyone acts like they're too holy for sexual activities.
But God created sex. He created the pleasures of it to be between a husband and wife. You best believe I would sing this to my husband and dance to it.
The moves look appropriate and fun without being "trashy" and the song isn't terrible. I've heard such worse. I feel like it's flirty and sexy without being overkill.
It's distrubing how people act like stuff is beneath them, but they go out and do it.
You also are all appropriately dressed. You don't look trashy. I think you're setting a wonderful example for the younger generation.

Controversial opinion incoming. As a UK based instructor, group fitness classes are delivered and received very differently here. We are not faith based and our participants want familiarity in the music they’re moving to plus they enjoy the movements that bring a little sass here and there. This song and the choreography will go down a treat with the EU demographic, I love it, great job! 💛🖤

I’m with @JessieBLovely and @pattimooney8602. I couldn’t even listen to more than a minute of this song. I have said this before, but I feel the need to say it again: I have always loved Refit. But the past 2-3 years at least, the song choices have been so disappointing, to the point where I find myself becoming disillusioned with Refit. I know you want to include everyone, and I applaud that sentiment, but that does not mean we have to use trashy songs. I’m not saying you have to use Christian songs explicitly. There are plenty of appropriate, fun songs out there to choose from. Just please clean it up.
We have a mixed group of people with a range of ages and preferences. It’s important to us that every body is welcome here. We aim to have fun, dance, and shake off any stress or worries we may be carrying. We understand this may not be for you and that’s okay, but we hope that you give all choreography a chance.
Hi frand … just wanted to remind you that if you don’t have anything nice to say keep it to yourself. In case you have forgotten refit is about love and acceptance. Just because you don’t like the song doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t.
Also, referring to anything we do here at refit as “trashy” is honestly disrespectful.
