great information thankyou. On e60 550i 2005 had airbag warning message and lights after disconnecting and reconnecting battery negative terminal. used INPA diagnostic tool following same steps as your Carly app, interrogated the airbag satellite center module, found code 93b2, cleared code, airbag fault indications all cleared. no further action required. Apparently common cause of airbag fault when battery change done.
Cheers mate, had this issue on my 525I and this fixed it. No errors, atleast for now. Really hate errors in the dash, makes the car feel cheap somehow.
I took it to the dealership and the fixed it free cuz there's a extended warranty on that specific part so call them and set up an appointment I even got a loaner car from them and pay $0 !!!💯 Good luck!

There is a certain mileage and years old it has to be under. This fix is for the people the dealer will charge for

I have a 04 525i. Air bag light is on but when I went to get it diagnosed.. nothing popped up... the light stays on. What can i do now?
