I will, for sure, stock similarly with community fish but less variety on the relatively larger species and more to the smaller ones.

I would have a community tank. More to look at. I love the variety, and all the movement. More to look at. I had the big tank with Oscars, and while I loved them, they didn't offer much in the way of visual activity.

I have 7 tanks and all are heavily planted bar my two largest tanks. I do enjoy the planted tanks a lot. The 330G 10ft is a central american and the 150G 5ft at the moment is almost a dumping ground where I have 2 growing oscars, a JD, a salvini and a bunch of ellioti. That is the tank I like the least. Most of them were in the Central american tank but weren't fairing that well so had to be moved. I definitely want to change the 150G. No rush and will consider all options. Pretty much like you have mentioned. Because I have a large cichlid tank I probably don't really need another. So its either a heavily planted community tank with minimal variety but large schools, so like a 100 rummy nose and yes I do like those denison barbs. Or something like an mbuna tank. Never had africans before but with my ph being only 7 it would need some intervention and not sure I can be bothered lol.

A bunch of rummynose and some denison barbs would look amazing. As for messing with the water, yea I can’t be bothered to do that either lol. I can’t keep rams alive because they don’t like my water. People say “do this, buy that” and I’m just like “Yea I’m not doing that. I just won’t buy rams anymore” lol

If I had a tank that size I would stock it with many tetras, cardinals, rummynose, colombian, etc. Cherry barbs, Siamese algae eaters, crosso algae eaters, otocinlus, danios, a variety of corydoras, and defiantly some beautiful angelfish. Also what are water changes like on your big ass tank?

@@ShamuAquatics I’m glad I only have a 29 gallon and a 9 gallon, however my dad will probably let me get a 75 gallon aquarium once there’s enough space in the house. And even thought that'll be in a couple years or more a I still wonder how I would do water changes on a tank that size.
