Yup, this is the clearest and easiest to follow of all the Italian bind-off videos!

This is the best video instruction on this technique. I can see what you are doing with yarn (photography is sharp and yarn color stands out against the yellow background) and your instructions are clear, concise and consistent. Thank you for a great video!

Thank you. I watched multiple tutorials but followed your tutorial. Your description is very clear and I appreciate that you repeat the bind off steps multiple times. I was able to easily follow along

Eureka!! I finally understand this tubular bind off. Your explanation of coming in from the back and then taking a hard right hand turn knit wise from the front is what saved me. I had everything up to that point. Now I know what to do. Thank you so much for making this video!

I can only agree with what many others have said. I don’t know if your video was what made things finally click for me but I had been getting so frustrated and then suddenly yay! Thank you 🙏🏻

At last an instruction video that makes sense. Thank you Stephen, as usual you explain everything so well. I watched the video twice and I was away. Unfortunately the bind off was on the bottom hem of a sweater for me and with almost 200 stitches to bind off it took me the best part of this evening, but it looks lovely and I’m very pleased with it. Thank you.

This tutorial was great! Usually I am super stressed doing this bind off method. But there was a rhythm in the way you explained it and it totally helped. THANK YOU!

Thank you so much! I was hoping you’d have a tubular bind off tutorial. I always struggle with it and end up using another method. This was great - easy to follow and very clear. I’ll keep watching and practicing until master it 😊. Thanks again Stephen!

Thank you Stephen! As always, wonderful tutorial! I did this on a 2 x 2 ribbing on a sweater hem, but first you have to set that up to convert the last round to 1 x 1. It would be great if you did a tutorial on that to show others that process! I so enjoy your videos, you are a treasure to the knitting community!

I’m sorry, but this bind off is what I learned the Italian or Kitchener bind off. The tubular bind off has two or four rows/rounds of double knitting before grafting the same way you show, to create a small tube. They are a little different and the tubular bind off is a little less stretchy than the Italian one.

A very clear video which I will practice as I have a sweater edge bind off to do. Do we need to prepare for this bind off row by k1, sl1 across 2 rows ? I've read that, but not sure if it applies here.

This was a bit easier, but, it still went too fast for me. I’m trying to bind off a button band so I have a LONG bit of yarn I had to pull through and by the time I got through that, he was beyond the next step I had to do. 😢. I will undo (yet again) and try it again.
