Idk how to word this but I was questioning my faith in Jesus. I wanted God to reveal the truth to me that Jesus is the truth as he says he is let me know. And when I went into church today 8/23/22 7:00 pm. They sang this song and I immediately broke down. The lyrics resonated with me like no other. If you can’t tell from my profile pic I love music I use to listen to a lot of metal and grunge. I never could get behind Christian music I just wasn’t a fan. But this song just altered me completely. I was crying because how dare I question Jesus. I was crying mostly because how could someone love me so much and die for me. I sin constantly and it scares me because what if I can’t walk by Jesus. And even if I made it to heaven why would he allow me to walk by him when I’ve betrayed him so much and offer him nothing. Why would he allow me to walk by him when there’s so many other people he could walk by. I’d give anything to walk alongside him one on one. Idk I’m just so grateful he loved us so much he died for our sins so that we could be with

hard to imagine the simplicity of His command to believe Him.... Just believe He is who He said He is and learn of Him through His Word and He will give you rest [Matt 11:28-30] He literally defines His disciples as those who continue in His Word and know the truth and the truth sets them free [Jn 8:31-32] and they are recognized by the world by their love for one another [John 13:35]... set your treasure in heaven my friend, your heart will follow [Matt 6:21]

@Lori Larrabee, I’m 64 & I love the old hymns too! Keep them alive for the future! If you don’t have an old hymnal, write the words on paper & keep them always! You might find them comforting years ahead! If you write the words down, you can always refer to your own writings if you can’t quite remember at any given time in your life! ❤️❤️🙏🙏🎤🎹✨✨
Im a kid but every time sunday school starts i never go im always in the worship and im the only kid thats in there and i never thought about it and then there was this one time i got called to sing and i did not even know my mom signed me up to sing cuz i was the only kid and this song was the only one i ever really thought i related to mostly and i sang it but i did not even know that that was the life lesson we were going to learn
