Yeah you can! And yeah there will be just a tad bit color shift but not to noticeable in my opinion. Also im sure you know, that if you pair it with a VND, the shortstache filter might make it hard to take off and on since it is also rotates. I had trouble removing my VND with it. but overall its a good combo

This is the 1/4 one. The 1/2 mist will look super misty. I made a review talking about both and you can see examples of both.
