@@garu24sa it's not set in the 80s but might still be added for nostalgia. Strangely though the Banshee in all GTA games is based on the Dodge Viper, apart from Vice City where it's based on the C4 Corvette. If it returns, they'll have to bring it back as the Coquette rather than Banshee.

Drag racing is quite simple if you understand how the car works to make the most of it & on top of that most people just use the fastest vehicles in the game which is a pretty common knowledge of the outcome. Unlike the tuner races that requires skill most of the time

Acceleration wise it’s somewhat accurate.. top speed is where the cars suck at. Not sure why they can’t just increase the top speed to like 180 or something
Well there’s a simple trick to make the calico go wayyyy faster than any of these cars top speed and it even beats the vigilante in just an airport race so I’m good

I do feel you on that because I own both of those plus the dominator asp and the gtt sure seems to be the slowest out of those three but the asp is my fastest road driven vehicles according to my gta stats
You must’ve never driven the GTT lowered stance with drift tires. It is indeed faster than the calico . My speedometer showed me going 170 , I have video proof on Xbox.
The calico has a verified top speed of 163 while the ASP(my favorite) has reached 180(verified). It all depends on the mods and the road you’re driving on. The calico has the best acceleration while the dominators have a higher top speed. It’ll still take a considerable amount of time to reach the calico with any of the two.

I once tried to make it look like the new edge mustang bullitt but I couldn't recreate properly the highland green without using custom crew color
Finally we're getting to the 300km/h mark, so hopefully the next game maybe will have this average speed on sports cars.
