Another quick guide for ya. This one is short n' sweet as subjugation is a pretty easy mission.
Don't forget Insane difficulty is being renamed to Impossible difficulty but they play the same.

very nice. i didnt know first spider triggered invasion. fk this map is painful without that knowledge.

Yeah it's nigh on unbeatable... another tactic you can do is make a tonne of workers and just have them run past the spiders (combat off), to grab the food.
As the spoods can only get one or two workers and you'll have gained like 60-100 food anyway.
