    Thanks so much for the quick but informative how to video. I just got my Clymer book the other day after searching for a while on how to videos. I will be checking out your other VTX videos.

    I still have the Honda VTX? If so, have you done a coolant change? Would love to see that.

    What about the fluid and water in actuator's piston? That old stuff is still in there.

    So you filled the clutch fluid with break fluid?

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, the Honda recommended brake fluid. Hope this helps.
      Thanks for watching.

    Gravity drain: Is it as efficient without the Harbor Freight compressor bleeder or is it absolutely necessary?

      It can be done either way, just quicker and easier this way. Thanks for watching.

    Es líquido que usaste para el embrague del cluch hidráulico , es el mismo que usas para el líquido de los frenos ?? ... Estoy en lo correcto??? Si estoy en lo correcto me puedes informar que liquido es ?

    What type of glue did you use to hold the small rubber gaskets in place? Thanks!

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  Рік тому

      I'm not sure about this one. I would need to see what is going on before making a guess. Thanks for watching.

    Can the clutch fluid be drained without the vacuum bleeder?

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  4 роки тому +3

      Yes, it takes a little longer and it will be easier with 2 people. You will need to add a piece of tubing to the end of the fitting once the cover is removed. Then have someone apply pressure to the clutch handle, while pressure is applied using a wrench loosen the fitting and allow fluid to flow through the tubing to a bucket or can. Once flow stops immediately tighten fitting prior to releasing the clutch handle. (Not doing so will "suck" air into the system). Repeat the process until fluid is clean and clean making sure not to run low on fluid. Hope this makes sense. Thanks for watching.

    What you’re flushing and changing is the brakes fluid ??? I thought the clutch share the engine oil as it fluid ? Hence wet clutch ? Please correct me if I’m wrong.

      @funbro1  5 років тому +6

      Not necessary wrong about the wet clutch but the term wet clutch refers to the plates inside the engine. See this video for more details ua-cam.com/video/KfaiWf1wUjA/v-deo.html . In this video I am simply changing the fluid that pushes the clutch plates apart, which is brake fluid not oil, 2 different things in 2 different areas, and the 2 cannot mix. Hope this explains things, thanks for watching.
