Well I have heard stories of clients asking hair stylists to braid dead bodies. I think it is absolutely wrong but it was not fair for that lady to generalize and say 'You know people in THIS COUNTRY, you can not say no' am like what!!! first of all her business is thriving in Uganda and they have been here for 20 years, then of course she can say no and report to police. Uganda is a beautiful country and one of the most friendly people, just saw a South Sudanese harassing a taxi driver or have you seen how these Indians are rude to poor Ugandan employees, they treat us worse than Ugandan employees.
Racheal your such an angle you don't know how you have saved us from those fake salons, this is what i have been looking for so professional clean and she knows exactaly what she's doing i will send my daughters for braiding i love her noteless braides.
Wow wow I enjoyed the story about how the braiding session is for interaction not just braiding and liked how she speaks Am falling in love with the colours everyday I see some one with them And true women look younger in braids
Whenever I travel to Uganda, I get my hair braided at this salon. Very professional, friendly, clean environment. I would recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. Great content.
I love love this family and their business, women of God too. Nicole is amazing and so is Marithe, we lived around Kibuli and she did everyone's hair really, never disappointed at all for 20 years. Painless, quick, and quality. Keep on keeping on.
Rachael thanks for the content, my life is gonna be a lot easier when I come to k'la b'se the anxiety of looking for amenities is now taken care of. Your such a blessing.
Her professionalism and know how is what is exciting. The fact that her edges are intact is also a plus. Was home in Feb, got braids done at a local near home, and had them out in 3 weeks, my head was on fire even though I had kept saying, "not so tight" and my edges disappeared. Trying to grown them back before I even attempt having it braided
Wow ! What an experience. This has happened to me before when braiding actually. What I love about Marithe, when you communicate these concerns, she’ll work around your needs too. So for example i use to be so concerned about my edges as well and she would leave some of them out without it being messy. Try her out next time ! 🥰
@@RachaelNalumu Will definitely be trying her out!. I also want to say as one of your older viewers...I am in my mid forties, I really appreciate your videos and kudos to you for show casing Uganda through your experience. Having lived away from Uganda for so long, it is nice to see the younger generation doing things different and adding professionalism to all careers as well as demanding a certain standard of service and products. I have bookmarked a number of places I intend to visit and patronise when I get home next time all because of you. So well done you. Keep doing you and may the Almighty God bless the work of your hands!!!
Babyyyyyy you always know what kind of content we want.. This was so bomb like I had to add her right away on Instagram. I loved those knotless braids you had you look freaking beautiful. How much did I cost of that specifically because sis I’m coming to Uganda and this might be another one of other my stops you recommend. Love you 😘
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS YOUNG LADY SHE GETS IT. I LIVE THE WAY SHE EXPLAINS THE WORTH OF US BRAIDERS. WHAT WE DO IS ART THAT TAKES TIME ENERGY MAJOR TALENT AND MOST OF ALL PATIENCES AND A LOT OF IT. I WOULD LOVE TO SPEAK TO HER AND BOUNCE AOME KNOWLEDGE OFF OF EACH OTHER. WE WOULD MAKE MILLIONS TOGETHER.
I am looking for a person who doesn't do very do tight braids and you feel as if the vessel is about to burst. Does she do less painful braiding? i don't look pain that's the reason am constantly cutting my hair.
Hello Esther ! Her braids are not painful at all. I believe because they’re been in the business for over 20 years, they’ve mastered how to make their clients comfortable.
Hey Sonia ! This was all mentioned in the video and the description box. Her IG is @tshanimarithe and she’s located in Kibuli right by the shell. Contact her for more info
What does she mean 'you know how entitled people in this country are' What a BS statement. You can find entitled people anywhere in the world including the Congo where Mama Marie comes from. By the way I find it strange when people chose to live in a country and all they do is desparage that country and then try to make their country of origin better. This girl says her mother was suspicious of Ugandans taking care of her children, everything about Ugandans is bad except she forgets to mention she has been safe here because of the war in the Congo, Ugandans have been the ones who have been her patrons and thus built her business. It's sad she talks so horribly of Ugandans yet she has been enabled by Ugandans to succeed, build a home. Lastly majority of braiders are paid and people can con anyone including engineers and lawyers it's called defrauding, or absconding to pay. I am glad I will never use this salon to braid my hair. I hope other braiders who are more appreciative can try another location. NB: By the way her mum did my hair in 1998 and I found her to be rude. I remember feeling sleepy when she was doing my hair and she slapped me. I paid her, asked her to undo what she had started and never went back again. I have since used a lady called Nambi and her 2 friends but I lost their contacts when I came to England and then I got another one called Constance a Muganda who is fast, neat and polite and punctual.
I was shocked by the dead body story!! What was the most interesting part for you guys? Comment below .

Why are you pressed she’s speaking from experience and she has probably seen many of them so let her call them out
Covid is real. Please show your clients how to wear their masks properly!
