Definitely. It was like he powered through it and only afterwards did all the rest of the strongmen realise that it was impossible to get past a certain point on the track. I bet all the other strongmen thought 'wtf' when they tried it afterwards lol.
My favorite display of the year was Brian Shaw vs Rauno Heinla on the stone off at World's Strongest Man. Unbelievable effort from the both of them 💪💪💪
I might have put mateuz’s iron bull pull in there. It was crazy thinking he had done poorly as he was first up only to realise after the rest of the field went out his did phenomenally
Iron bull by mateusz was the most impressive thing ive seen all year I think him going first in the event and it being the first year of that event many didnt realize how impressive it was
Loz or fans : any tips on what’s best pathway for partially torn bicep tendon, after many weeks not healing? Is surgery common place and without much impedance thereafter? I’d rather hear a sportsman’s view than a surgeon guessing.
great list -- thought you might of thrown in the max dumbell overhead at worlds - or toms hummer tyre deadlift at shaws -- been a great year though -- cant wait to see what 2024 brings
My bad lol. I just realised this is the total for the UK team haha I stand corrected. Would really have been insane if one athlete held it for over 2 mins 40 lol.
While this probably doesn’t qualify for this list, my favorite Strongman moment this year was Brian Shaw winning the Shaw Classic and giving his retirement speech atop the Power Stairs.
I think Iron Bibby shoulder barging Big Loz out the way after the 230kg log wr is worth a mention😂 also Loz and his new Dinnie Stone walk wr. The roar afterwards got me fired up! 😂 great list guys. Merry Christmas to you all.
I almost forgot about Hick's 470kg deadlift again, holy fuck that went up fast!! I reckon 490 in the tank that day! Hope to see more deadlifts in the 470-490 range next year instead of guys endlessly chasing the 505...
#1 for me is watching Tom's Atlas stones. He'll go down in strongman history as the only guy who could consistently one-motion all five of them every time.
I think Trey crushing the Viking Press was top 10, I Just don't know where to put it. Also, how about Evan breaking it just being overshadowed by Trey.
Brian and Gav's leg presses @ the Shaw Classic, plus Brian's bench chest press as well. They may not have been the biggest strength feat, but going off of the energy in the arena they were on an ENTIRELY different level
Not particularly a performace but I will add Mitch 2023 year as a whole. From being a rookie to win the Arnolds, WSM and Rogue is just mindblowing. Hats off to him, he made the history books without a doubt.
Oleksii's Conan's wheel at WSM deserves to be in instead of Pavlo's at ESM. Oleksii lopsidedly won ahead of second best by 21% at World's, while Pavlo won ahead of second by 12.5% at Europe's. They were both top 2 at each competition. The only argument i can think of against this is that Pavlo's performance was more degrees and a record on an established piece of kit, but based on the results the Conans at worlds was harder.
Mateusz on the Iron Bull sled at the Rogue was incredibly impressive. Surprised that didn't make the list.
Definitely, thought it was more impressive than the pull that was included here!
Definitely. It was like he powered through it and only afterwards did all the rest of the strongmen realise that it was impossible to get past a certain point on the track. I bet all the other strongmen thought 'wtf' when they tried it afterwards lol.
I think it was probably because of all the backlash the event faced in general.
If he could manage 3 points on deadlift rather than 0 most times his career is a totally different story
Best part was he thought it was a bad pull and went and put his head against the wall 😂😂
While it wasn't in competition, I hear somebody did a really good Dinnie stone walk this year. Broke the previous record by quite a bit.
It was in comp
@@AlejandroSanchez-pl6jw Not really a strongman competition in the traditional sense.
@@scottmacgregor3444i would argue it was more traditional than WSM. Can‘t get more traditional than carrying a historical stone.
@@ora6925 and everyone had a chance to challenge the record
My favorite display of the year was Brian Shaw vs Rauno Heinla on the stone off at World's Strongest Man. Unbelievable effort from the both of them 💪💪💪

Iron Biby deserves the number one spot. Mind blowing to see a man ad big as him flipping around like a lightweight in celebration!! Just awesome!!
Iron bull by mateusz was the most impressive thing ive seen all year
I think him going first in the event and it being the first year of that event many didnt realize how impressive it was
Tom's 10 rep log press was just outrageous!
I love that Biby held that for a few seconds. 💪💪💪
I would put Mitch Hooper’s performance on the shield carry up there. Though that was more climactic than anything.
Loz’s Dinnie stones and Kordyaka’s Conan’s wheel definitely my highlights. Of course Iron Biby’s record was incredible. So many amazing feats. ❤
Brian shaws bench at shaw classic was HYPE 🔥🔥
My fav was Mitch’s 👑 🦀
I always love watching Iron Biby, wish we could see him at more Arnold's/Rogue shows
No one does vids like our legend big loz. Love your vids chap.
Happy birthday mate! It’s mine too!
That music was epic!
Faires needs to be much higher up this list for me! Great vid as always guys 💜
agree....that was intense. Certainly ahead of an 18" deadlift
Ooo i am here too 😎
Personally i would have to put toms 500kg hummer tyre deadlift on day 2 of the Shaw Classic somewhere on the list, but great list nevertheless
Thanks for the exciting video! I am so stoked for Ohio 2024!!
Brian and Rauno's epic stone off, even though I generally dislike it as a tie breaker.
Shown but not mentioned is Biby’s always impressive cart wheel, this time for two reps
J F Caron’s squat at the Arnold’s easy event win!!!
That was 2022
2023 a great year, 2024 will be even better
Despite the fact Brian Shaw retired, & some of the major events had some hiccups, it's been another awesome year of SM
Loz or fans : any tips on what’s best pathway for partially torn bicep tendon, after many weeks not healing?
Is surgery common place and without much impedance thereafter?
I’d rather hear a sportsman’s view than a surgeon guessing.
What about that sled Mateusz pulled? Imo it should have been on the list
Well done for not recognising yourself big loz, humble as ever
Can we please get confirmation on how to pronounce Kevin's surname? No one seems to know. Is it fairs, fair-es, other?
It was harder for Biby to jump over the log than it was to lift it haha
Wow, no love for the ol' Moose?
great list -- thought you might of thrown in the max dumbell overhead at worlds - or toms hummer tyre deadlift at shaws -- been a great year though -- cant wait to see what 2024 brings
The max dumbell at worlds is a stain on strongman we all want to forget
Lucy's WR deadlift?
163kg. You're selling Tom short.
Top much Giants Live 😴
Kevin faires grip is outstanding but didn't Gavin hold it for longer.
Did you even watch the video
@@Hhhlll7778 what did I miss. Did it not say Gavins time was 2 seconds longer or am I talking shit.
My bad lol. I just realised this is the total for the UK team haha I stand corrected. Would really have been insane if one athlete held it for over 2 mins 40 lol.
Love seeing these amazing displays of strength but to me the biggest moment in strongman this year was brians retirement speech
Mateusz being the only to finish that sled pull was probably #2 this year
While this probably doesn’t qualify for this list, my favorite Strongman moment this year was Brian Shaw winning the Shaw Classic and giving his retirement speech atop the Power Stairs.
You forgot Loz’s incredible run with the Dinnie stones! 😜
But for real that was definitely one of the most impressive feats of the year!
I think Iron Bibby shoulder barging Big Loz out the way after the 230kg log wr is worth a mention😂 also Loz and his new Dinnie Stone walk wr. The roar afterwards got me fired up! 😂 great list guys. Merry Christmas to you all.
Brian on the chest press at Shaw Classic was pretty impressive.
The crab moose is definitely in my top 10 this year
Moose King Crab!
Brian Shaw winning one of the heaviest competitions of the year at 41 was definitely more impressive than a lot of these.
I almost forgot about Hick's 470kg deadlift again, holy fuck that went up fast!! I reckon 490 in the tank that day! Hope to see more deadlifts in the 470-490 range next year instead of guys endlessly chasing the 505...
Unfortunately they can't choose their own weights. The Arnold does it nearly every year, so I don't know why Giants Live has such an aversion to it.
Surprised Mateusz iron bull was on here. Only person to destroy that event
Surprised to not see anything from Shaw Classic
Is copyrighted maybe?
Didn't someone break the Dinny Stone world record in a convincing manner this year Loz 🤔
#1 for me is watching Tom's Atlas stones. He'll go down in strongman history as the only guy who could consistently one-motion all five of them every time.
How many records broken/set did Kieliszkowski hit with just 3 appearances this year?
I think he has the most event wins/number of events done this year, and maybe all time lol.
New World Record for Big Loz on the back of a lorry was a HIGHlite❤
All Amazing but mine was actually the Jump over the log when Iron Bibby broke the world record
I think Trey crushing the Viking Press was top 10, I Just don't know where to put it. Also, how about Evan breaking it just being overshadowed by Trey.
7:26 the exact moment “Michael Hopper’s” wife conceived.
Loz looking at Bibys log lift I need to get so much lower on my squat for the press, old man hips need to loosen up #teamloz
K. Faires is so underrated. Hes a little undersized to be a wsm winner but holds lots of world records.
Tom's getting crazy good at log.
Nice
👍
Brian and Gav's leg presses @ the Shaw Classic, plus Brian's bench chest press as well. They may not have been the biggest strength feat, but going off of the energy in the arena they were on an ENTIRELY different level
The Dinnie stones should be in. It was a comp since there was an official and competitors
Just happy to see these lifts 😊😊😊
Not particularly a performace but I will add Mitch 2023 year as a whole.

World record as "only argument" 😂
@@maartenn2217 Like I said, two different Conan's and Oleksii's record was on a new Conan's while Pavlo's was on an old and easier one.
Watching the strongest man on channel five and great to see big loz presenting it.
