Nope. Both the 3 and 3S have solutions for glasses wearers. I even have a family member with coke bottles for glasses who was playing over the holidays. 🙂
Both the Quest 3 and 3S work with Steam VR games. There's actually a Steam Link app in the official Quest Store, so you don't even have to sideload it. But you can also buy a cable and connect to your PC that way. There are options. Is it better to save? The Quest 3 is definitely the superior product, hence the higher price, but the 3S has impressed me. I think it will depend on the customer whether the trade-offs are worth it or not. But they're both well worth their respective price tags. 👍
