Awesome video as usual. Very cute that the ducks came up to you Leigh. In Canada, we use beans as a breakfast item side, but not on toast. Beans are like our breakfast hash-brown potatoes here. How was the coffee and cake? Great Asian dish.

Mmm, beans on toast. Definitely best on white toast and for me, it has to be Heinz beans. It’s not the same experience when on brown bread. Would still eat but just not as comforting. American baked beans are completely different. Too salty and do not go well on toast!
Beans on Toast has to be on white bread in my opinion. 😊

I used to do beans on white toast all the time; then, I discovered crusty french loaf. Where you cut it in half, slightly scooping out some of the bread, then adding some garlic butter, pile in the beans, and throw it in a toaster oven for a minute. It's glorious.
That sounds amazing have you had them with mini hot dogs?
@@TheLodgeGuys Yep. Chopped them up and bacon chopped up as well. Mom used to make that every weekend. Now I make it with black beans and home made tomato sauce.
I grew up in the American Southwest. We would often have Mexican refried beans with our egg breakfast. Yum 😋 delicious with warmed corn tortillas.

Hi as we are fans of Scarborough it was nice to have a look at Filey, somewhere we've not been to....so you wouldn't recommend? It did look a nice day though. Mmmm beans on toast definitely on white bread even nicer with marmite on the toast :-) x
Filey is quieter and more relaxed and a huge bay
I didn’t expect to get a shout out on this video, but it’s true, I do seem to particularly be interested in the culinary differences between the US and the UK. I have to admit that beans on toast doesn’t sound particularly inviting to me, but that’s probably because I didn’t grow up with it. By the way, I did look again at the British section at Publix yesterday, and I noticed a few more things, such as lemon curd, digestive biscuits, and even Marmite. I think I’d probably like the lemon curd a great deal, but probably not the Marmite. Anyway, thanks again for mentioning me!
Lane Wright the lemon curd is wonderful on poundcake with a giant heap of fresh whipped cream.
It's often called lemon cheese too, beans on toast is epic btw
I love my beans on toast, the weather has been so nice, we started cutting our customers grass last month, the ice cream man came couple times around our way when it was warmer. hasn't been as nice this week turned cold again. Another great vlog guys

As kids we always ate beans on toast. I still enjoy that but now I love beans on toasted garlic bread. I am Canadian born but I do have British heritage.

Me & my partner do the same thing with the webcam when he goes to the Nurburgring in Germany! We even looked at ourselves when we were both there 😂
what a beautiful beach....not that Wolverhamnpton is near any beach but I am missing home more than ever. Loved the little Cafe with the English Tea and cakes, love the sugar cubes, no where around me does that but boy does it bring up some memories..always sneaking them when my parents weren't looking LOL Great vlog. Don’t feed them bread come to garden centre Hornsea and get some seed.. I feed mine at high farm, and I have a white goose who’s lost his partner so feed it every day ..
Oh and me and Dave have been going to the cow she’d at fraisthorpe and we love it food is amazing ... beans on toast is the best mmmmmm

Love thick beans on toast not watery ones
I couldn’t bring myself to try the beans on toast. Our hotel in London served a full English breakfast on the buffet but I still didn’t try it. Maybe next time. 🍽

We don't call it taffy it's usually fruit flavoured but definitely not salt water flavour :)
