Very informative and helpful, unfortunately I do not have your skill set so will not be repairing my defunct unit. Interesting to see inside. I have been unable to source a replacement.
@@amp9438 nice. I'm in the process of fixing mine, and from a few tests it seems the same components failed on my unit (also left rear speaker!). Thanks for posting the video
my rear speakers are quiet and the sound comes in weaves . sometimes complete no sound. also the subwoofer after using it for 10-15 min it stucks playing the bass. could it also be an power issue?
is there a battery there somewhere that could reset bluetooth connection? my rear speakers have not been connecting to my soundbar for the longest time
Both my satellites pair as the right channel. I disassembled the left one and noticed it's the inclusion of a resistor in a specific location on the board that makes it determine its channel. Everything looks intact. Anyone have any ideas?
Hey there. Are you in the UK? I have the exact same speaker with the same issue. Would you be open to doing a repair for mine? I'd be happy to pay for time and parts. It appears to be £150 to buy some second hand from ebay, so if you'd be happy to do for cheaper, that would be grand!
Wow, this must be a labor of love (obsession). LOTS of time & effort to repair a $20 speaker!
these are from a $1500 soundbar set lol

Hi, did this permanently fix this issue? Did the board blow up again after you fixed it? Thanks
Yes it fixed it

Was watching your electrolyte experiments and had a suggestion of fruit pectin and calcium chloride. Best of luck.
Great idea. Should try that out to see how it performs. Thanks
