Dear Samaneri Jayasara. I have listened to your recitations hundreds of times. I listen over and over again. Often I shed tears hearing the words of the ancient masters recited with such compassion. Now I sit everyday. Without words I try to realize: No past, no future, no being. Thanks for bringing me back to the path (that is no path). Thanks.

"And how shall they explain it? By not explaining. Thus, is it called explaining!" Dear sister 🙏🙏🙏 The merit of this (whether 'grasped' or 'obtained'...) shall help all continue to journey in light and in freedom, guided by truth, courage, and love 🙌💖🌟
@@growingoaks It can’t be ‘figured out’ - it’s to be experienced… ‘Explaining’ is a word, a label, a concept - which is limited - by definition. If you’re ‘explaining’ something, you’re not really explaining ’it’ - as ‘it’ cannot be explained - ‘It’ just Is. I was pointing to the point that by our dear sister reading this in a meditation style, she’s actually explaining ‘It’ - by not explaining it - but by giving the actual experience.
@@ploinyalmoiny3049 so you say you cant “explain it” but also say she does “explain it”. Are you saying her reading it is not explaining it but instead is experiencing it?
This, ie Prajnaparamita Sutras, helps me with my day to day fury with others assumptions about myself and infinite others. Thank you, great intonation!
Concerning diamonds and Dharma and enlightenment, it is recorded that two among famous 84 mahasiddhas were kings who meditated on ring diamond to developed stability of mind; later one of them visualized Hevajra mandala inside the diamond and attained enlightenment.
Mind, heart, spirit blown away! 🤯🤯🤯🤯. Samaneri may we have a playlist just for the Buddha’s teachings straight from him? Thank you for a million lifetimes.
Hi Gigi, all the Buddha's teachings from the original Pali - said to be spoken by him and argued by scholars to be as close as we can get to the original words spoken by him - are in the Theravada playlist. The other Mahayana sutras will be under the Mahayana playlist (in both Zen and Tibetan). I haven't done that many suttas or sutras to date so it is not that hard to navigate as yet, but I intend to do more in the future. When there is an extensive list, then perhaps I will create an entire new playlist for ease of access for the Buddha's words. Hope that helps for now. 🧡
The names have humor and grace in the reading and it really carries some gnarly good energy throughout, listened to a different version yesterday; excited for this longer one
I adore ur channel! Ur voice is indescribably beautiful. I would really really love if one day you created a reading list. I have never seen such a collection of amazing writing before. Please consider it. I would be forever grateful. Thank you!
What a Lightsaber! slicing away the unreal. I kept disappearing, well sort of. Did you ever see Star Trek years ago? They had a transporter that would transport the body to a place. Sometimes it malfunctioned n the person would semi appear n disappear, fading in n out. That's my experience at this point. Great blessing to the Beings that transmit this Knowledge!!! Emptiness is not nothing. Emptiness is neither nothing or something. Emptiness contains everything. There is a fullness in this emptiness. It is the end of all suffering. It is the source of every single thing that one can perceive as a rising of joy. It has gentleness and tenderness. It has bliss. It is all mothers. The truth of beingness. And it's none of those things because to be in it no thought needs to arise. The source of all comfort and peace. But we only name these things because we're not used to being in them and knowing them always. In this I can rest. I can expire smiling.
Listening to this Sutra I sometimes feel, though rarely, a kind of clarity emerging. But listening to it now, I am just don't understand a thing. Though it troubles me at times 8:52 I think it's okay.
That Seen In The Diamond There is that known to mind Not born of mind, Rather brought to mind, Having been known In a realm apart from space and time. That known in an unbounded paradigm, Which is no paradigm, And from an eternal perspective, Which is no perspective, When brought to mind, Thus limited by space and time, By perspective and paradigm, Casts but a shadow Of the dimensionless thing which is no thing, Of more dimensions than mind can conceive. The enlightened mind illuminates the shadow, Exposing and uncasting as illusory, The diversions and paradoxes lurking within, Revealing the essence of that known in a higher realm. Yet word is contrived by unenlightened mind, Limited by the illusion of duality, Fettered by linear thought, Inapt to define that not thus confined. Hence when that unbound, by word is bound, Resurrected are the diversions and paradoxes Beheld in the shadow. Illusion created by illusion. Confoundingly real to the mind That does not know itself illusory. Thus, that the Bhagavan, the Sugata, The Tathagata, the Arhan, Limited by word, impart his knowing, He tells then untells. He speaks then unspeaks. He declares then undeclares That seen in the shadow. That the impartee put it to mind, Thence discern the essence.
6:00 I was suddenly thinking: A gift given with no attachment has no worth, cause it is no offer ? .... and I realised I am attached to measurement, so help me God
The paradox of the teaching is fascinating. Do you believe that this is, that we exist in the final 500 years of the dharma ending age? it certainly seems to be a time of paradoxical teachings.
From the Hindu perspective, we are in Kali Yuga, a dark time indeed. When I look around at “the world,” political systems, greed, hatred, delusion, destruction of earth, war etc (none of which is new) it seems we are indeed in the Kali Yuga. I’ve yet to come across anything is the path that does not appear as what we call “paradox.” Blessings ❣️🙏
One who understands this teaching, does not create a perception of a final 500 years of the dharma ending age. So to which dharma is this the final 500 years?
I really struggle to keep the 8 precepts specifically those around food and entertainment. I waste so much time. It is difficult to resist because they don't appear as blatantly immoral and harmful like the first 5 to refrain from (no killing stealing sexual misconduct lying intoxicants). Any advice welcome.
And tho' you struggle, yet there is no 'struggle'. That is why it is called 'struggle'! Ask yourself, who is struggling? Then may all struggles (that are not struggles) end! 🙂 Can you believe this word 'struggle"? Say it 10 times aloud fast - it is a preposterous word 😂
I heard a yogi say something really smart -- it is the seeking of pleasure that ruins people's lives. Back before al this "entertainment" was everywhere he was speaking and said how children live such healthy lives because they study and play and exercise and help their families . . .and they are happy and sleep well . . .but then when they become adults they start seeking pleasures and entertainments and they become miserable. i grew up without entertainment except for radio and records. Once in a while we went to the beach and once in a while we went to a movie. No one ever woke up in the morning thinking about how they were going to consume entertainment on any given day. Entertainment was for special occasions. Steve Jobs destroyed humanity and we need to take it back. Kill the screens!
