i saw some 874's from a thrift shop online, i bought em and then realised that i accidentally got the "flex" version and i didn't knew that since it didn't tell me on the site.
Nothing wrong with the flex version brotha they should be functionally better because of the stretch but I just find the fabric doesn’t last as long or look as good after multiple washes.
It is stated they do but I can’t tell that they do in real life but the flex pants are also stated to have a mechanical flex twill fabric meaning how they are woven. The reg 874 feels a little sturdier with less give but I find the fabric holds up a tad better for some reason.

Thanks for the breakdown. I got a few pairs of Flex and was wondering why they looked so faded and kinda cheap after a few wears and washes.

It's so cringe to talk about pants like this and to call pants "the 874" but it's even more cringe how fuckin frustrating it is to find good pants.
