The issue McDojoLife had with the 14 year old teaching had to do with the fact that she’s 14. Imagine if you paid to learn from someone you learn from a 14 year old. This would be the same as going to a personal trainer let’s say and they were a high school freshman. That person is probably not qualified to teach. Can they give pointers, tips etc? For sure. But can they fully teach? I’m not too sure about that especially if I’m paying money for that.
She’s not teaching obviously 🙄 she helps out and she’s better than anyone in Chi Sao and knows all 130 techniques on the dummy so what’s the problem. Train and test your skills against a black belt is great but the part about proving it is not actually a good idea if you are an ordinary person like me. Being underestimated will make you win the fight every time, that’s why Confucius said one who excels at defeating his enemies in battle does not appear formidable. The lack of any philosophy in BJJ and obsession with being the best is it’s biggest weakness. Those who come to my club and want to test my skills before learning is fine but not for the internet 😇

Go to a jiu jitsu gym and call people out for a sparring match. It is not because jiu jitsu athletes are trained for ground fight that we cannot punch, kick or do anything else.

Im a judo bjj guy and I'm not upset art all I thought it was funny . All the MMA bjj community being all upsets was quite ridiculous they spend their time shitting on others arts . Well I think the Maurice guy was just trolling. I ve trained wing chun for a month . Personally I didn't find it effective but the blocking the hand speed, can be adapted in striking or grappling specially in a clinching situation .
Your right, I like judo for throwing people and if you learn the right lineage in Wing Chun it has great elbow strikes and elbow defense, Pan Nam has the most powerful elbow Ive ever seen.
