A similar technique was used in Kill Bill part 1, when the Bride was killing the crazy 88s. They used a couple of interludes: rock music when she was spinning and a lights off scene with blue background to dilute the bloodletting. Otherwise, it becomes a bit much.

SPOILERSSSSSSS!!!! Sae-byeok's death hurt me so badly,it made me cry so fucking much. She was so close to winning,but in the 5th game at the end when all the glass shattered it hit her in her stomach. That whole scene with her in her bed and talking with gi-hun i had a feeling her time was near,i feel like crying now haha. I loved the show so much and I'm glad that her brother is now being taken care of.
