I hope you enjoyed the video. This was my first time editing in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I kind of like it; it makes you more conscious about framing and composition. Also, it works better with the film look I was going for in this video. Regardless, here are the Pocket 3 settings:
- 4K25p
- Shutter 1/50
- WB 4500-6500K
- Single AF
- Sharpness -2
- NR -1
- D-Log M
- ISO 50-200
All of the shots were shot handheld and manually exposed with the Freewell ND filters (geni.us/yPu9PdO or geni.us/APrsIX) for a natural motion blur effect. Everything was edited and heavily color graded in Final Cut Pro with Color Finale 2 Pro and Dehancer film emulation; www.dehancer.com (10% off on all products w/ code "ROMA10").

Question - did you start at 16;9 ratio then cropped to 4:3? Or did you start with 1:1?

Dude. Beautiful. I think I need to get one of these. My wife bought me a DJI Action camera and I’m excited to switch to DJI for my off-roading videos. I have the mini 3 pro and that will make it easier for me to color match. This camera looks pretty dang good for the price and the size and all that. No more bigger gimbal with my Sony full frame
