  • In this video, I went on my first official motorcycle trip for only riding and sight seeing. This is my first motorcycle video to ever make so I learned a lot on my filming mistakes and what i would like to do in the future. I went to the Hill Country area and traveled along backroads and off road areas with water crossings and river crossing. I'd like to think some of these paths i was on could be part of a Texas Back-country Discovery Route.
I wish audio was better while riding i wasn't running a mic besides the built in go pro mic so there was a lot of wind noise. Will be testing a helmet mic to see if sound while riding is improved So overlayed some random music that is still copyrighted. www.bluetreeau...
If anyone has questions or comments please feel free to leave one or some feedback!

Do you happen to have a map or gps file for the route you did? I recognize a lot of it and the rest seems familiar, but then a lot of the hill country looks familiar! I live in Bandera and have rode all the unpaved roads I know of in the hill country, but always looking for more.

I was using rever at the time I did this trip so may be able to share it through that? think i can email it. there's 2 tracks. Now i use a ZUMO XT but this route is a combination of tracks/maps i found from a dual sport group on forums/facebook based in the hillcountry. Scouted it on google maps then just created my own track to follow. 1 half is mainly offroad then the southern half is offroad then a good bit of twisty roads with good views for that area. basically went from san saba, llano, fredricksburg, round mountain, blanco, comfort, then over to dripping springs! mostly off the main roads.
