She's supposedly coming out with another retro palette that plays on the greens! That being said, I didn't think I was interested in this one until I saw your video. Am I a mauve/berry girl? Not sure, but your looks are soo pretty!
I like her looks too but I don’t think they were anything special. For the cost of that palette the shimmers didn’t look all that special in my opinion. But she looks pretty in any look she does.

Valid point about CP but the quality is way different. My CP palettes from last year have lost so much pigment and crumbly. My Nd is still on point. Love your videos.
I actually decluttered my CP palettes that had similar colors as soon as I got my retro in bc of that! I'd rather have them in the better formula. However, if I couldn't afford or didn't want to spend the money on the ND one I would happily take the CP as an alternative. Another CP that reminded me of it was the menage a muah
I’m not going to lie. I was excited when I heard about this palette, but then disappointed when I saw pictures. I was hoping there’d be green/gray shades like in the mini retro. The looks you created are beautiful.
I’d love to see swatch comparisons to the Colourpop palettes. At first glance, the cooler toned shadows from this palette remind me of my favorite Wet n Wild quad/quint, Petalette. I love the light purple shimmer and the plummy color from that quad and always look for similar shades when I buy better quality single shadows.
I swatched the two CP palettes Mandy mentioned on Friday, and threw in two shades from the CP Taupe palette to dupe the Jude and Opart shades. Almost shade to shade dupes for every color.
I would have loved a few green colours in there as well. However, I love mauve and berry tones so it is tempting me. I hope it’s available during the Sephora sale.

It's beautiful, UNIQUE, and though it may be more expensive, I'll be recreating her version for what a "retro" palette should be. I am still looking forward to what ND comes out with for a green retro palette.
ND has hinted that she's planning on bringing out a green palette, so there might be something in the next 12 months. :) I might pick this one up in the future, but until then I have plenty of shades like this one.
Two beautiful eye looks! This is supposed to be the retro version of the Glam palette. She said in her IG live that there's more to come in the retro line. I'm allergic to the Colourpop formula, and the quality is no rival to ND in my opinion. However, I do probably have most of the shades in my Sydney Grace collection. 🙂 Still excited about receiving my Retro palette tomorrow.
I would love to see the CP swatch comparison as I have both I love the making mauves platte but I think I will wait for the green ND palette as I love green colour on the eye it would be awesome to see what she puts out.

I adore these dusty rose matte shades so very much. I immediately did my eye makeup when i opened my package with this palette hahaha. I got the bundle with the glam palette so I'll be trying that soon. I don't wear a ton of neutral looks but it's nice to have them for sexy classy looks and both the palettes fit in that category lol
So I absolutely was going to purchase this palette, because I bought a Love palette that had a couple bad shades that where patchy and would migrate. I actually through two shades out from the palette don't know if there are other bad shades, because i haven't used the palette since. Your first eye look is amazing! I stopped the video to write abs to save your video in a file. Looking forward to seeing your night time look.
Mine is coming in today and can't wait. I'll try to recreate your first look, so pretty! I think this palette will combine beautiful with the glam palette of ND. And the shades nude mauve, helio (haha not Hello) and another one come from her Lila palette wich I also have. Time to pull that one out as well
Originally I was disappointed in the color story thinking of what I had wished it had been… like the mini. Seeing it for what it IS however makes me appreciate it. It’s beautiful, subtle and a fresh Natasha Denona take on berries for the fall. I just love the midi size. I’ll never, and let’s face it, most of us makeup lovers won’t ever hit pan in our palettes, so I appreciate the lower price point with similar number of shades.
I fell like I’ve gotten looks like these from my favorite Sydney Grace Enduring Love palette.. and it has more pops of color. I would recommend that one to anyone! Thanks for this video, Mandy! It was very helpful!
I want to want this palette so badly. If it were a little deeper, like the promo/website photos, I would totally jump on it! "groove", "rebellion" and "swing" are too red for me. Your looks are gorgeous though, so I will probably purchase whatever dupe Alter Ego comes out with (and I look forward to your comparison video!).

I don't know if it's been stated in the comments already, but, the Mauves palette from Profusion is very similar to this and is five bucks. May not be the exact same quality, (although the quality is very, very good, great pigmentation), but, if someone wanted the looks without dropping the bucks, it's an option.
I think it would have been way more unique if it looked more like the mini retro - I don’t have those shades multiple times in my collection. This one looks like so many others, 1000x over. $65 saved!

I am also obsessed with blush pink (with hidden shimmer, of course 😍) I call it Mary Kay pink. I've even considered painting my car, lol! And the funny part is that I'm pretty sure I've never even seen Mary Kay make-up 🤷🏽♀️😁
Love the looks! Incredible with your first look you predicted the new mini rose palette Natasha Denona just made! And you predicted as well the retro glam palette she made similar to the mini retro! Wow! Only think I do really not agree is to compare the terrible quality shades of color pop to the amazing formula shades of any Natasha Denona palette. When I tried color pop it went directly in the trash can. Maybe in a 20 years old girl anything could be ok , but after 30s if the make up is not an excellent quality is better nothing because bad quality shows any lines. That’s why almost no one can compare with Natasha Denona. Maybe Mark Jacobs is the closest.. Anyways congratulations on your channel is really great and very inspiring.

This looks beautiful on you. I feel like she put the greens and peaches in the Zendo Palette. I think she is starting to create a permanent range of palettes now that she has everyone's attention. The Glam, Retro, and Bronze are the staple neutrals for a wide variety of people. Her Zendo palette is the colorful add on palette. It will replace the Sunset and Love Palettes. I think her next midi palette will be colorful too. I think of the Glam palette as Naked 1 and 2, The Retro palette as Naked 3 and Cherry, and the Bronze Palette as Naked Heat. What do you think?
I watched a live with Natasha Denona and she said this is a partner pallet pallet too her with the Glam pallet and that theRetro series wasn’t complete and there would be anotherRetro(2) coming to complete the Reto series. I’m supposed to be getting mine today, because of shipping delays. I ordered it in the Sephora preordered on Sept 2 😫💜💜💜

As someone who ownes the two CP palette you've shown as well, I'll probably still get the ND palette. I can use all shades in that palette without having to dance around glittery mattes (who even asked for this?) and the more chunky palette formula super shocks. The absence of glitter fallout is a huge bonus. ND needs glitter glue for some shades too, but all the other shades are no-brainers. My examples would be the middle shade in the Mini Retro or the duochrome shade in the Metropolis, but not a third of a nine pan palette.

I think you could also bring in Bye Bye Birdie or Flutterby from CP to bring in the deeper shades
