This video is criminally underrated. I love your analysis of Aqua’s PTSD! The facts you gave were also really nice and informative. I feel really bad for Aqua. I’ve also read the manga and I’m up to date on everything, so I feel even worse for him… we’re going to explore his emotions more in season 3 too. I definitely like how Aka wrote Aqua’s experience with PTSD. I watched a video where a psychologist analysed Aqua in season 2, and he said that Aqua might have something called Complex PTSD. PTSD and Complex PTSD are the same, but C-PTSD has some additional symptoms like lots of shame and/or guilt, self loathing, etc. I’m kind of a geek when it comes to psychology and stuff, and even though I am by no means a professional or something, I definitely think that Aqua has it. He’s got a lot of guilt and shame, he definitely thinks of himself very negatively and hates himself (You’ll see that more in the next seasons), and his trauma also occurred at a very, very young age.
What do you think of S2 so far?
I love this analysis! As someone who was diagnosed with PTSD at a young age I really relate to Aqua.
Thanks so much for watching! ☺️ I also relate a lot to him, I'd like to find more anime protagonists with PTSD
@@OpalescentMight I recommend Berserk and Evangelion, my top three favorite series alongside Oshi no Ko.

Thank you so much!! I also like how Aqua is written, and I completely agree that it's more likely he has Complex PTSD.
as someone who read ahead in the manga i am very impressed with the way the anime adapts and *elevates* the source material. it's really good.
I completely agree!
Amazing video really enjoyed seeing a different perspective for oshi no ko keep it up 👍
