This is so much better than the actual movie. Your rewriting it with the same ingredients but redesigned makes it actually enjoyable with action & drama. Alan having ptsd is perfect because c’mon who wouldn’t be traumatized by dinosaurs attacking people. Love your callbacks to the original movies (hang on to your butts). They show you are a knowledgeable fan that’s showing a better way to honor and end the series. Let’s demand the Wyatt version be made!
I love this rewrite but the one thing I hate about it is killing my two favorite characters, Blue and Owen. I think that maybe one of them getting hurt would have been less overkill but killing Blue and Owen is to much. I would probably have Blue be the one to get hurt by that feral raptor while she’s protecting Owen. Blue would probably almost die but she’d somehow survive because the whole gang would probably take pity on Blue. It’s not plot armor, it’s the fact that both are great characters that really shouldn’t die.
I agree. I was almost expecting Owen to come limping back in at the last moment, which would have softened the blow of Blue's death and given a catharsis for the ending.
A rewrite worth filming! I hope the franchise has separate timelines, much like the Halloween franchise has many movies that all go in different directions that don’t have any connection to each other. We need a film like yours so we can ignore the terrible movies this franchise has produced.
i really enjoyed this rewrite! i genuinely thought that Jurassic World Dominion was gonna explore the concept of dinos and humans coexisting but instead was replaced by a dumb locust sub plot. i knew something was gonna be odd about this movie when the director mentioned that the Giganatosaurus was “like the joker”. pretty disappointing. with your rewrite however, you weren’t afraid to take risks. (for example, killing off the main character and his companion in the ending. in the actual movie everyone has plot armor like crazy.) not only that tho, but the action sequences in your rewrite is way better and makes your scenes more meaningful and more intense rather than having action just for the sake of action. i can especially appreciate you for making the dino/human coexistence plot and sticking with it throughout the whole movie. with your rewrite, this could’ve been one of the best Jurassic World/Park movies and would be a fulfilling conclusion to the Jurassic World trilogy.
Thank you so much for the nice comment! Makes me feel better about putting so much work into this video. Yea I think one of the biggest problems with story telling today (at least in blockbusters) is creators are too afraid to take risks and sacrifice some characters to improve the story. But if its obvious all the characters are going to be fine at the end then there aren't much stakes to the story. And the locusts just.....ridiculous haha
Funny enough, there is a virus in the novel known as the DX virus, and I just assumed you based it off that I legit wasn’t expecting Owen and Blue to die off like that lol But that was the main issue with Dominion, nobody really died There should have been a scene where Claire and Maisie visit Owen’s grave
While I apreciate this rewrite I have some gripes with it: 1. BioSyn was already present in the original film, being the rival company of InGen with Dodgson being their agent to bribe Nedry. I doubt that they would allow someone like Ian Malcolm (someone who was openly against any sort of genetic experimentations) to work with them. None of the OG trio would work with BioSyn. 2. Why the hell would the OG trio work with Henry Wu and why would the authorities allow him to work with them? He should've been imprisoned for the Indominus Rex and helping Mills in FK.
Loved this a lot! Idk what Colin was thinking when he COULD have done something like THIS. I’m actually currently working on my own rewrite, it’s PLANNED to be fully animated, right now it’s about 2-4 hours long. It’s a big film so far, and I’ve barely written a quarter of it. I feel like the FINALE of Jurassic would be BIG, just something that feels so worth the wait. The way fallen kingdom ended, left so much for dominion and it somehow failed when it had an amazing premise already.
This is so great! I've often imagined what a different version of this movie would be like. The virus could be DX from the novel The Lost World- essentially the cast finds out that In-Gen was using rotting sheep meat to feed the dinos which caused a mad cow like disease that could spread to humans, which is also why the carnivores were so aggressive. I would also have a hard time believing Malcom would be interested in creating a virus- I could almost see him and Ellie swapping places here. Would also be cool to have more raptor PTSD and him dealing with that. The climax of the first book has a scene where Grant uses his knowledge on dinos to kill the raptors by testing a theory that raptors were also scavengers and ate eggs- so he rolls eggs at them injected with a toxin to kill them. Super cool part of the book (especially with how Crichton wrote it.) Anyway, great stuff man!
Ehhhh, not sure if I agree with this, there’s not much character development and a lot of scenes (like the numerous chases and indigenous tribe parts) seem super repetitive. A lot of characters get murdered out of nowhere without any emotional resonance, making their deaths feel irrelevant. Additionally, not involving the T-Rex in the end of the story was an iffy choice…
ok I think killing both Blu AND owen is overkill (pun-unintended) but it should either be one or the other, makes it more impactful if one has to live without the other since their bond was so strong, if both die there's not really any lasting damage from it
you know I kind of wish that you had the giga be a more threatening villain in this rewrite, and that Rexy would have a role in this movie, but I still enjoy this video
Your rewriting is beautiful. I have no other words, if it would have been this way, man... What a movie we would have enjoyed, because that's was what we all wanted: DINOSAURS IN THE WORLD EATING PEOPLE! There's no way a single Tyrannosaurus caused more trouble in the city in The Lost World than LITERALLY all the other dinosaurs mentioned in Dominion (or at least, we saw very little of it). Also what you mentioned about the new diseases that spread through the world, I found it excellent, it is something I had not thought about. Especially because it's true, diseases that affect animals affect people in a completely different way (it was already seen with the Black Death, for example) Anyway, to complement the script you made, I would have added these things/scenes (dunno where yet, I'm doing free writing, it's up to everyone's imagination where them could fit): First, I would give more screentime to another specific dinosaurs of the franchise. Just as you mentioned blue on different occasions, Rexy could also be given prominence, or maybe a new Spinosaurus (I don't know if the last one would fit much, but since it came out in Camp Cretaceous...). Continuing with Rexy: she could have an encounter with Allan while they were escaping through the cities, with him recognizing that she is the same Tyrannosaurus that chased them on Isla Nublar (Perhaps because of the scars, the size, some specific characteristic that made it more recognizable from the rest of the Tyrannosaurs). Then, a new chase scene. While the group is trying to outrun Rexy, she encounters another large predator. Then, an intense fight scene of our favourite Tyrannosaurs, but with her winning without the help of any other dinosaur, roaring and showing her dominance (I love Rexy, she is my favorite dinosaur in the entire franchise). And speaking of that... I would have also delved into other ecosystems, such as the sea. Since the Mosasaur appeared in many scenes (too short, I must say), I would have also given it prominence, since an enormous imbalance would have been generated if the Mosasaur could self-reproduce like the other dinosaurs. Or maybe just a scene where she causes big problems and then, humans managed to put an end to her. I'm talking about that ecosystem because, as I said, in the trailers/scenes of Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, they did show it and gave it a relevance that in the actual movie never had. Something else occurred to me as well. Introducing hybrids again would not have been a bad idea. Since they had already done this in Fallen Kingdom, other dinosaurs could have been mixed together. Imagine those Stegoceratops or Spinoraptors... And maybe, JUST MAYBE, the return of the Indominus Rex/Raptor. It may sound a bit forced, but honestly Indominus Rex was a dinosaur that I really liked and that, like the Spinosaurus, would have caused even more problems in the world due to the imbalance that they present due to their mutated characteristics. Perhaps, after the idea of the toxin/plants for the dinosaurs, humanity would still have to find a way to destroy a couple of dinosaurs that should never have existed. Of course, as I mentioned, it's an idea, because I don't know how hybrids could fit in, but considering they're "canon" in many Jurassic Park/World games, why not?
This is a better version of Jurassic World Dominion. I make some modifications in Jurassic World and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. In my opinion this would help the film. I hope you like the movie I make. 1- Jurassic World: The changes I make are the following. There is no kiss scene. The velociraptors have muzzles when are hunting Indominus. After Indominus escapes some soldiers saw the muzzles, and reliase that velociraptors remove it. The final battle is the same until the Indominus knocks down Rexy, when Indominus is going to kill Rexy, impact tremors are heard, another T-Rex appears, a male (junior as full grown), he manages to give Indominus more battle by having 18 years, then Rexy and Junior fight together to push the Indominus into the lagoon. The two T-Rex retreat from the area due to the injuries inflicted by Indominus. Owen, Claire, Gray and Zach think that Blue is dead. At the end of the movie the 2 rex climb onto the helipad and roar claiming the island. 2- Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom: Earth one is accompanied with two mercenaries. Rexy, when approaching, kills one and eats it, the other mercenary and the operator escape towards the stairs. The remaining mercenary is about to reach the ladder when Junior kill him by attacking him from the side, then all the same (note: the lagoon is in the center of the island and the Mosasaurus escapes into the sea through a system of tunnels) When Mills show a photo of Blue, Claire is surprised, because the thoguht that blue was dead When Nublar's final scene is shown, thunder is seen in the ash clouds. There is no kiss between Owen and Claire. Junior and Rexy kill Mills together, Junior scares the Carnotaurus away and Rexy strikes the pose, then the two retreat from the area together. WELL, WITH THESE CHANGES I CAN START WITH JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION: The film begins with the Cretaceous scene, which is going to be “accurate”, as far as it goes. The Dreagnothus scene is changed to Alamosaurus, the oviraptor scene is changed to a mammal that is scared away by a female Tyrannosaurus (which has the feathers we saw), the Nasutoceratops scene is changed to a Triceratops scene . I take Moros Intrepidus out of the Cretaceous and focus on a male t-rex that is waking up. Then this rex sees an Edmontosaurus and when he was going to attack it another male T-Rex appears (the male t-rex have much longer and more striking feathers) They start to fight for the territory in the same way as in the movie. The drive-in scene is with Junior (since in this version Rexy died of old age), but Junior was carrying a dead animal in his mouth. Biosyn's presentation scene instead of being with Lewis Dogson is with George Baselton, who replaces Ramsay Cole and the Quetzalcoalus is changed by some Pteranodon. Everything is the same after that until the Texas farm scene. Instead of locusts, he sees a herd of Dryosaurus eating a portion of the plantation. Then they get nervous and suddenly a carnivorous dinosaur appears. For which the children hide, the carnivore had killed two specimens. One that the carnivore takes and another that the children catch when the carnivore threw it against the barn Ellie arrives at the farm and when she analyzes the dead dinosaur, she is shocked at the DNA composition. When she goes to see Alan, he identifies the dinosaur as Dryosaurus and is surprised. Alan mentions that this species of dinosaur does not belong on the InGen or Masrani list. Ellie tells him that this specimen also has a percentage of locust DNA. She comments that Biosyn must be creating their own dinosaurs so they can release them all over the world and have the government pay them to house them in the valley. He also tells her that these new dinosaurs don't eat products created by biosyn (Ellie also mentions some cases of carnivores not eating livestock created by biosyn). Alan and Ellie while in Pennsylvania observe 3 Tyrannosarus Rex infants (Junior and Rexy offprings, 2 males and 1 female). And that they are preparing to transport them to the valley with their father. George Baselton greets Alan and Ellie and explains about biosyn. (Here Alan sees a Brachiosaurus) After explaining about cattle for predators we move on to a shot of a male Tyrannosaurus Rex with feathers (no Giganotosaurus here). After Alan, Ellie, and Ian talk in the lobby, Dogson goes to the labs and is seen talking to Henry Wu and Howard King about dinosaurs with locust DNA. Lewis is happy because money they have made, not only from Biosyn products, but also from rich people who are asking him to buy dinosaurs for themselves. Howard King is against everything they are creating, as he says that they are making a serious mistake, as he suspects that accelerated growth will cause the dinosaurs to reproduce very quickly and cause a collapse in the ecosystem. Wu tells him that a solution to this problem will be found. In the Malta scene, the Atrociraptors are changed to Velociraptores Sornarensis and the Allosaurus is replaced by a Suchomimus. The Moros Intrepidus scene does not appear in the film yet. George Baselton tells them about the facilities. The video that Maisie watches, instead of being shown to her by Henry Wu, is shown to her by Howard King. According to the information that Howard compiled, Charlotte was killed by The Big One. That caused Benjamin to clone her. He did it in 2014 after 21 years of failure. Maise have accelerated growth so, her grandfather cured after implanting a repair gene. Howard wants to study it so he can find a solution to the dinosaur problem. But Dogson wants to study it to understand the human cloning process, and do more business with it Alan and Ellie are in the sublevels and there they observe all kinds of experiments (rabies experiments, drug experiments, food product experiments and the creation of new species of dinosaurs, here locust would be seen in the distance) Alan and Ellie manage to take samples and photos of everything that is happening. When Maisie escapes, Dogson activates the alarm, this causes the Intrepidus Moors to attack Ellie and Alan, due to the noise that the alarm causes. Here they meet Maisie. When they escape on the hyperloop, Howard finds them and leaves with them, saying that he will testify against Biosyn. Before reaching the caves, Ellie cheers Maisie up by telling her that despite being a clone, she is still a person and that the dinosaurs are not to blame for being created that way by Biosyn. The scenes of Claire, Owen and Kalya from the plane until they find the dead deer are the same. Junior approaches the corpse to take it away. One of the infants wanders off, then the feathered male Rex appears and kills the baby. Junior tries to confront him, but he retreats in the end with the 2 remaining infants. In the caves Ellie loses the evidence due to the attack of the Dimetrodons. Here they are rescued by Ian and George. When Dogson fired Ian, George decides to help him rescue his friends. Claire's scene with the Dilophosaurus instead of being strangled, Owen hits him with a stick and Kayla electrocutes him. (There is only one Dilophosaurus here) Lewis starts destroying the evidence and the fire is the same with the locusts When the 2 groups meet, more Dilophosaurus appear, when they are about to attack, they get scared and run away. What happens is that shock tremors begin to be heard and the feathered male t-rex appears. As they hide behind the car, Howard King stands still thinking about the vision theory, but the t-rex kills him. Here George sacrifices himself so they can escape (Ian Malcolm doesn't do the spear scene and there's no zilla flare). The attack is the same. Lewis talks to Wu. Dogson blames Wu for everything that has happened, saying that he is responsible for the problems with the dinosaurs and leaves him behind. Then some character ask why the T-Rex attacked Howard, and Grant explains the vision theory is wrong and that the Rex had excellent binocular vision. (This T-Rex, having a "pure" genome, in addition to having feathers, has full potential bite force and excellent vision) When Ellie and Claire go to restore the stream they are attacked by Moros Intrepidus When Wu meets the protagonists, he explains that he found a solution to the dinosaur problem thanks to Howard King's work, he also helped them to defeat Biosyn and he leaves with them. When they are about to escape, Junior appears with the two infants. Just behind the protagonists appears the feathered T-Rex (since when they activated the emergency system to gather the dinosaurs, they cataloged them by species). Junior and the Feathered Rex face off in the same way. When Junior is knocked out and Ellie goes after Owen, Claire and Maisie, the feathered Rex is distracted. Then he hears the sounds of the 2 infants, while he approaches the infants to kill them, Junior reacts to hearing the sounds and prevents him from eating them. In the end Junior, with a combination of bite force and impalement, kills the feathered rex. Alan and Ellie start a relationship, but they don't kiss. When the final monologue is seen, Junior goes with his 2 children as teenagers and Ian Malcolm ends up saying the phrase "life found its way" after the speech and the film ends. These are some changes, which I think would make the movie much better. Blue and Delta's scenes are the same. Dogson's death is the same. Dogson want Beta to study the I.B.R.I.S program due to being young and Blue became wild.
I’d of included a bit more emphasis on the destruction caused by the herbivores. For comparison, the campsite scene from TLW w/ the released dinosaurs (all herbivores other than the compies).
It really bothered me how many catastrophic chains of events were left entirely unresolved. Two ecosystems were slammed together without a second thought. The ending never dealt with it, just saying "Nah, it'll be fine" instead. About every 20 minutes or so, I caught myself thinking "Well, that's it. That's the end of the human race", or "Well, that's it. That's a total environmental collapse". Have the writers forgotten that the first film actually explored these kinds of questions?
this is what i’ve been wanting. killing chris pratt is a bit of a stretch but other than that, this what dominion should of been like. i can tell you put a lot of work into this video and it really shows.
The idea of dinos spreading desease in the world is explored in the Jurassic Park novels! Glad you included it, cause it suggests how Dinos can be realistic existential threat to humanity, as it isn't just that they will go out hunting humans...Especially after the pandemic, I was surprised the movie didn't utilize it as concept, and istead went with the stupid locust sub plot...
Great rewrite, I would also do a similar story to this. I would greatly like it if there was a scene where the dinosaurs are being brought into the biosyn testing facility at the start via helicopter to see if the toxin works on them and an incident occurring. Get the nod? It would be a reference to the start of JP1 where the raptor is being transported to Isla nublar. Either way, excellent work and I could see this working better than the JWD we got.
My only problem is that dinosaurs aren’t that threatening when we have these things called guns and the military. I’m pretty sure a trex will be no problem to a person with a 50 cal machine gun or a tank. Their just animals made of flesh and bone
Something that would've made this rewrite better is by having a final battle between the T.rex and Giga with the spinosaurus joining the battle, like this: ua-cam.com/video/fYANbBsGEIA/v-deo.html
Meh...is interesing; but not much better; is basically turning Fast to Jurassic; in Jurassicnator The events in dominion with the dinosaurs has sense; but the problem with the history not are the Bugs Is that they want push three independent plots in the same movie forcing the connections and the events only because could be "cool" Maise plot is innecesary Beta blood necesity for the bugs is innecesary And the characters like Alan that lost all his characters grownth that gain in previus movies is a insult That is why Dominion is a bad film for end the saga
Not gonna lie, I do respect going all out balls to the walls insane with this, but it’s just not working for me. Came across as a cheesy knock off Jurassic movie like Carnosaur or something off of riff trax. This just went a little too dark and crazy for what we’ve come to expect from the Jurassic franchise. Like yes the book had a scene of Nedry holding his own intestines and people getting eaten all over the place but it never went C-movie level knock off horror. Don’t get me wrong, Dominion took all the wrong steps, and overall wasn’t good and wasn’t a Jurassic movie, but this wasn’t either.
I know we're desperate for a better finale than Dominion, but this really isn't much better either. Your random picks of nondescript dinosaurs is reminiscent of one of the issues that plagued the newer Jurassic series. They're just random carnivores with no proper personality or dynamic with the cast, something that the original films did pretty well. As other folks also mentioned, it doesn’t make sense for Ian Malcom and other characters to try and be part of these big world changing corporations when these characters have expressed how much they disliked Hammond & InGen's genetic power being unchecked and experimental. The rewrite also has the issues of too many characters and background randos that either don't really flow or just serve as dinosaur fodder. So much carnage despite these dinosaurs being animals that just don't fit in the modern era, but sure, lets just make them Hollywood monsters.
Mmm nah fam, see the think with the first is that it build a really good world but used a really dumb plot to thread it together, yours makes a decent plot in a really dumb world
This was even worst rhan the original movie this isn't Jurassic u have made this into a zombie apocalypse movie like the maze runner 3 like with the cities having walls

Counter point: dinosaur Dundee should not be lol
I disagree if no one dies or even wounded it takes any realism away from it and the characters.
I stopped watching after he said "If Greta Thunberg really hated dinosaurs". 😆

I fcking love this. Just what I wanted from Dominion. A cruel, realistic and sad finale for the franchise.
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it

There is no kiss between Owen and Claire.
Junior and Rexy kill Mills together, Junior scares the Carnotaurus away and Rexy strikes the pose, then the two retreat from the area together.
WELL, WITH THESE CHANGES I CAN START WITH JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION:
The film begins with the Cretaceous scene, which is going to be “accurate”, as far as it goes.
One that the carnivore takes and another that the children catch when the carnivore threw it against the barn
Ellie arrives at the farm and when she analyzes the dead dinosaur, she is shocked at the DNA composition.
But Dogson wants to study it to understand the human cloning process, and do more business with it
Alan and Ellie are in the sublevels and there they observe all kinds of experiments (rabies experiments, drug experiments, food product experiments and the creation of new species of dinosaurs, here locust would be seen in the distance) Alan and Ellie manage to take samples and photos of everything that is happening.
(There is only one Dilophosaurus here)
Lewis starts destroying the evidence and the fire is the same with the locusts
When the 2 groups meet, more Dilophosaurus appear, when they are about to attack, they get scared and run away.
(This T-Rex, having a "pure" genome, in addition to having feathers, has full potential bite force and excellent vision)
When Ellie and Claire go to restore the stream they are attacked by Moros Intrepidus
When Wu meets the protagonists, he explains that he found a solution to the dinosaur problem thanks to Howard King's work, he also helped them to defeat Biosyn and he leaves with them.
Why don't you like kissing scenes?
This. Is. A. MASTERPIECE
I think the evil raptor that killed owen should have been killed by rexy instead of shot by security. Then rexy looks at the cast and walks away.
yeah im getting pretty tired of Rexy being the hero.
pretty alright frfr
Yo this sounds dope AF
I was so exhausted with Fallen Kingdom I still haven’t bothered to see this one. I don’t think it’s worth anyone’s time, money and sanity.
love the rewrite, but i didnt understand one thing, is blue living with them or in the woods
I didn't even bother with Dominion, and I already like your version better.
So when is your movie coming out, this summer?😀
I liked it because it shows that Owen can’t train wild velociraptors that didn’t happen in the movie unfortunately that was the opposite.
I really liked it dude. Earned a sub.
Way better than what we actually got.
this is what i’ve been wanting. killing chris pratt is a bit of a stretch but other than that, this what dominion should of been like. i can tell you put a lot of work into this video and it really shows.
Amazing
Making Alan Grant a villan is so much worse lol
You suck
The only way to control the Dino population is open hunting season
The idea of dinos spreading desease in the world is explored in the Jurassic Park novels! Glad you included it, cause it suggests how Dinos can be realistic existential threat to humanity, as it isn't just that they will go out hunting humans...Especially after the pandemic, I was surprised the movie didn't utilize it as concept, and istead went with the stupid locust sub plot...
The only thing I would change from this is, is adding some more herbivore action scenes other than that its my favourite rewrite of Dominion so far!
What dinosaurs are in your version of Jurassic world dominion
Yeah, this isn't perfect, but it way better than movie we actually get. I wish you were a screenwriter.
To me the Jurassic franchise is not about dinosaurs but the dangers of genetic engineering and Dominion happened to tell it's story with locusts.
Well done! A much better movie.
I think that'd be a great scene, definitely playing off the iconic first movie but in a way that could work for the story. Great suggestion!
@@filmrebel thanks man, I am also surprised that you still reply to comments months after the video came out so quickly!
My only problem is that dinosaurs aren’t that threatening when we have these things called guns and the military. I’m pretty sure a trex will be no problem to a person with a 50 cal machine gun or a tank. Their just animals made of flesh and bone
The opening was cool for sure lol but everything else I wasn't with
Something that would've made this rewrite better is by having a final battle between the T.rex and Giga with the spinosaurus joining the battle, like this: ua-cam.com/video/fYANbBsGEIA/v-deo.html
I kind of like this... but I don't think it's better than the actual movie. But I do love the actual movie.
Could you do this with Halloween Ends
Meh...is interesing; but not much better; is basically turning Fast to Jurassic; in Jurassicnator
The events in dominion with the dinosaurs has sense; but the problem with the history not are the Bugs
Is that they want push three independent plots in the same movie forcing the connections and the events only because could be "cool"
Maise plot is innecesary
Beta blood necesity for the bugs is innecesary
And the characters like Alan that lost all his characters grownth that gain in previus movies is a insult
That is why Dominion is a bad film for end the saga
I loved this but you should have also mentioned rexy and giga not by saying a large carnivore
Good point!
Also, there's the huge plot hole on why the fuck would the OG trio work with a biogenetics company which was worse than InGen?
@@WhyTho525people change idiot
Very thorough rewrite. Just not my taste. Glad we got what we got, and not your dragged out bore
.....dragged out bore.....you think this story is more dragged out and boring than the bugs....ok dude...
@@filmrebel is is you're story is garbage. Alan Grant a Villan and Owen dying lol
I like the rewrite and sethhowen or whatever you 7 year old name is. SHUT UP BROOO
it is
I know we're desperate for a better finale than Dominion, but this really isn't much better either.
The dinosaurs causing an apocalypse is to unrealistic
👎👎👎👎. It would have made sense though
@@chasehedges6775 not really
I appreciate the effort but this is not a more satisfying story
Yeah it is you dumb crap biker filth
2 fast sum Jurassic
I love it but can you do that, kill a main character
Eh, this rewrite was more like Carnosaur than a Jurassic Park movie, I mean Dominion wasn’t that great but it was better than this
Yea this rewrite was garbage
I'm a year late, but the JP Novel was sci-fi horror.
Not my favorite video sorry
