thats a long way to get to child lock. one long press on the options button to turn on and off would have been more logical

But it leaves the power button still available to be pressed...the one my son associated with the “jingle”!!

As I know all of washing machine brands have the same logic of child protection, power button must be available for safety requirements... I had a Whirlpool, Bosch, and previous Samsung WW80J5.
