Just my toughts :] Hearing suddden scream in vocals like at 3:35, without much of a change in music after that feels like tiredness. Its like you try to scream but without reaction of your environment nor your own emotions. That moment in your remix gives impression of entrapment, tiredness and kinda suffocation. NIN original version hits very hard at the moment of the scream, this is a special moment that along with music gives impression of release, fury and mindless charge. So you kinda lost the original feeling of this track here. Just so you know how it feels like. NIN music usually is deeply emotional and you have to really care about the feelings that are carried by vocals in order to assemble them good with music. For me, vocals should be in the center of attention and then music should subject to them. Beside that, your work is badass. Im really glad to finally hear NIN refreshed with respect to the original.
I disagree, I believe that since Trent himself is a classically taught musician; his extras/unused tracks on the fragile are instrumental (meaning he puts words to them after the base for the instrumental is designed) and the fact that he wrote 'burn's lyrics very quickly shows at least to me that he values the emotions the instruments convey first, and the words second. However I do think this remix should have that scream at least once be the bridge into a louder segment of the song - maybe if they began muffled and then got louder/clearer until the beginning of climax of the song.
INCREDIBLE TRENT and NIN.
Don't know if anyone has suggested this but a Memorabilia remix would be awesome!
>Great remixes Black Acid.
Thanks
Ahhhh. Memorabilia WOULD be awesome. Incredible song.
The best version I have heard ! Well done !

This is less chaotic than the studio mix; love this stripped down version!

Both points are legit - nice positions!
hurt or right where it belongs to end a show ill pick
did trent ever start a show with this is the begining
Probably. There’s a few live songs I noticed that sound completely different from the studio versions.
How did you do this?
Nindestruct.com has many of the multitracks available
I have not witnessed any burning
