I appreciate that you have been branching out and blending other cooking styles/techniques with BBQ methods. I'm always wondering what else I can cook with my smoker and kettle. I love BBQ but I can't have ribs for every meal.
That’s the only way to keep a BBQ channel alive. You can only watch someone cook ribs, chicken, and brisket so many times. Wish I had half the talent this guy does to even try this at home.
try grilling lettuce, it will blow your mind: here’s a quick recipe: half of a romaine lettuce, put olive oil sprinkle bullion powder, a splash of balsamic cracked pepper and put it face down on the grill on med/high heat, let it without moving it for 3-4 minutes or when you start to smell sweet, then flip it one more minute on the other side and serve and squeeze some lemon on it and enjoy.
Little hack for cooking of the naan. Use a wok. Heat it up like normal to the max. Then turn it upside down and pop the naan on it. Will stick (if not spray bit of water before) then hover over the flame for char on the other side. Get the same effect of a tandoor!
There aren't many content creators I watch where I robotically click the like before the video starts, but Bradley is one of them lol and he doesn't disappoint.
I also do the same sometimes. I basically did it because I felt bad when I watch and didn't give a 👍 but with Bradley. Its like playing roulette. Bet on black or red, and the ball will land on what you bet!😉👊
One of my Bengal's favorite foods was shrimp tikka masala. He would scrape the sauce off with his paw and then just go to town. RIP Genghis Khat (1995-2013).
This may be your best dish yet Chuddy, I mean good job man! Tikka Masala is one of my go to Indian dishes and the way you cooked the chicken certainly added layers of flavor to the dish!
would love to see some Japanese Curry. I had an awesome mom and pop Japanese place by work and they had the BEST curry... but sadly Covid killed their business and it is no longer. Have been craving it for a few years now.
Bradley please do a homemade ramen. I know from your Windy City trip y’all had some great homemade ramen. But I would love to see your take on a “bbq/grill” ramen. Thanks for all you do.
A shout out for Dishoom! If you can get it in the US (or pick it up next time you're in the UK) their cookbook is 100% worth getting. So many amazing recipes including a lamb chop marinade that when BBQed creates one of the best bites of anything, ever.
Having made lots of indian food over the years, I highly suggest using regular plain yogurt instead of greek for your marinade. It makes a lot of difference. That aside, your dish looks great, and massive props for the home made naan!! Keep up the great work Chud! Now take some of those lefovers and lets see a tikka masala sausage!!!!!
There's a fantastic book called 'The Curry Guy Bible'. The author Dan Toombs is a bbq geek and even has a curry bbq book too, which is awesome. I'd recommend that for anyone looking to cook authentic curries. They're easier and more flavourful than most people think.
It looks delicious! If you want to omit a step though you don't need to saute off the garlic ginger paste and masala before putting it in the marinade because the meat will get heat from the grill anyway and you can scoop the spare marinade into your saucepan and cook it off with extra garlic ginger/masala. Sometimes cooking a masala too much can give it a bitter edge since it's already pre-toasted, and a lot of times extra masala is added near the end of cooking. Chetna's channel is a great reference for Indian cooking.
Great video, love from India, just 1 suggestion, traditionally naan is cooked in a tandoor which is similar to cooking it on coal to get smokey flavor, so you could cook it on the chud box. Awesome content Brad. Cheers
Dude! one of my favorite Nonn-BBQ foods has just become a BBQ dish I will definitely try to replicate as Bradley did here! Think-a--masala I will watch this 9 more times and then ghee garlic Krush it for the Fam! Thanks Bradley!
I walked into my husband's best friend's kitchen, spotted South Chicago Packing beef tallow in his pantry, and simply stated, "Chud?". "Chud", he responded. Great video, and great channel. Someday I'll order a Chud Box, dammit. Someday!
Ditch the grates when you have a yogurt marinade. I know you know now after this mess made of it. Grill on skewers spinning directly over charcoal a la yakitori
Damn... Looking legit. Not sure how you continue to come up with all the different ideas but we appreciate it. If you are not subscribed to Drew @ Swine & Bovine BBQ, please do. Great person, love his videos. We need to get his Sub numbers up!! Thanks Brad
I make Butter Chicken and Butter Pork very similar to this recipe. I can never get the naan bread right and I have tried multiple recipes. HEB has some awesome garlic naan in the deli area.
Once, I tried to do a spice blend, iny grinder, with a whole cinnamon stick (don't do that), and it blew out the top of my grinder I found it's best to twist the cinnamon stick, until it breaks apart, that stops it from behaving like a launched l-Beam
Top marks! I can highly recommend smoking some curry spiced wings and then tossing in a tikka masala or butter curry sauce. As for your next curry try a smoked mutton Rogan Josh, you won’t be disappointed. Plus you have a lot of Kashmiri chilli to use up!
Tikka Masala is extremely popular in the UK. You know what else is insanely popular in the UK, Mr. Chud? English breakfast! Please make one. Or an Irish breakfast St.Patrick's day is coming up.
@@mikeydoherty96That's one of the reasons I am so interested in seeing Chud's version. "Back" bacon instead of "streaky" bacon, Cumberland sausages, and of course black pudding. Will be cool!
Hard char grilling chicken thighs and then incorpating them in a dish is a great and delicious technique. I do it for chicken chile verde posole soup and various stews and casseroles - the smoky char elevates the dish both flavor and texture-wise.
One of neighbors in the twin cities would make a curry two or three times a week. The local clasic rock station had a bit for the morning show of a fellow with an Indian accent saying I smell curry. So I'd come home from work and as i stepped over my threshold I'd have to say I Smell Curry. Mostly to amuse myself. But it had to be done. Smelled really good. Would linger unless we could open summer time windows in the hallway until they made it again.
I am sure someone knows and this will seem dumb, but does the little metal disc heat the pan, or is the pan already hot and it just protects the table? I have it in my mind that it is some kind of induction device, but that seems odd.
Chud, Love your videos. Please let us know how you season and keep your carbon steel pans functional and non stick. After one fry my seasoning starts coming off. Any tips would be appreciated!

I know it has probably been said a thousand times, but thank you for your not so typical BBQ videos. Different cultures, flavors, and techniques.

Whoever told you that you can’t have ribs for every meal was incorrect

So under appreciated… you should have a million+ subs - great content !!
Agreed
Sounds excessive
One of my favorite meals. To avoid sticking to the grill I remove the grate and bridge across the coals with long skewers.
Would love to see Thai curry with a crispy duck on the Chud Box.
A lovely classic English recipe.
One of my Bengal's favorite foods was shrimp tikka masala. He would scrape the sauce off with his paw and then just go to town. RIP Genghis Khat (1995-2013).
So... Your cat liked shrimp?
Love the ending with the drink of bourbon! Excellent way to end a video! 👍
How is it that the legend…just keeps legend-ing?? I can’t wait for the actual smoked boot snake! 🤘🤘
This may be your best dish yet Chuddy, I mean good job man! Tikka Masala is one of my go to Indian dishes and the way you cooked the chicken certainly added layers of flavor to the dish!
It's and English dish lol

Lamb bhuna for all the lamb lovers out there

Off the chain.. Hats off brother.

A favorite of mine. This looked amazing. Love seeing other than just traditional BBQ here too.
Dude, you need to make a Kashmir Rogan Josh! With lamb of course...
Pat it dryyy!!!
Homemade naan is the shizzle

Maybe use the Bhut Jolokia In a curry. It has a nice Smokey taste. One of my favorite peppers to use in hot sauce.
I've been cooking Indian for years. You nailed. Glad to see you didn't Americanize it. Very authentic. +1
Looks freaking AMAZING. I'm already regretting the butter chicken I'm making tonight.
For the algorithms bay bay!!!!

Thank you for sharing "Chetna".. have a new resource to check out!!
Bahn Mi w/Brisket style pork belly!
Love seeing you trying new dishes and getting out of your comfort zone!
You nailed this too, amazing job as always.
i did not expect this to be on this channel!!!
Tikka Masala is one of my favorite dishes. Gonna save this recipe for sure.
I just made this and it’s fantastic Bradley. Thanks for your videos.
Great video, love from India, just 1 suggestion, traditionally naan is cooked in a tandoor which is similar to cooking it on coal to get smokey flavor, so you could cook it on the chud box. Awesome content Brad. Cheers
Awesome recipe! I can totally imagine making this at home.
Your the coolest Bradley !!!✌👍
When are you opening your restaurant brad?..
BBB.... Brads Badass Bites 😂
Chunky is good. Looks amazing.
This looks amazing billions must dine!
Hi Bradley how does the chuds plate work on the bench to heat the pan . Love the Snake in the Boot
I am always wondering that too.
Dude! one of my favorite Nonn-BBQ foods has just become a BBQ dish I will definitely try to replicate as Bradley did here! Think-a--masala I will watch this 9 more times and then ghee garlic Krush it for the Fam! Thanks Bradley!

Dude .....Another try.That looks good.
I've got the Dishoom cookbook and i've made this with a whole chicken but this way looks even better. ps. Dishoom bacon and egg breakfast naans rock.
That looks incredible!
Ditch the grates when you have a yogurt marinade. I know you know now after this mess made of it. Grill on skewers spinning directly over charcoal a la yakitori
Awesome video brotha. My son was stoked to see you doing the snake in your boot again!
I'm gonna try this, thanks Chud.
A true dish to show the power of multiculturalism in Scotland 🏴

Any type of Indian cuisine is a great idea! Thanks for that!

I found it's best to twist the cinnamon stick, until it breaks apart, that stops it from behaving like a launched l-Beam
Ok you need to do that one again. Burnt chicken is a no no will dominate everything.
I vote Butter Chicken! Then Thai Green Curry
Top marks! I can highly recommend smoking some curry spiced wings and then tossing in a tikka masala or butter curry sauce.
As for your next curry try a smoked mutton Rogan Josh, you won’t be disappointed. Plus you have a lot of Kashmiri chilli to use up!
Costco Executive member. The only Flex that matters. Good boy

Might struggle to find black pudding in the US. I know my cousins have in the US get it sent down from my cousins in Canada 😅

@dkhunter011 it'd be interesting. Dried blood defos be tricky to find
Nice, I have been making a similar style of Curry Chicken Thighs for years. This stuff is incredible!
Looks fantastic! Next up! Butter Chicken please!
Wow you’re amazing. I am subscribing never saw this from a BBQ guy/ channel. ❤ you made bread dough. 😮
Thank you for sharing your recipe
My advice is if use skewers for grilling chicken masala
Thanks again
Yeah this is getting made this weekend
Chuds Tiki Torches! They are guaranteed to keep those pesky snakes out of your boots
Never seen Brooke eat so much! 😋
Toasts his own spices and scratch made naan! Chud for president.
Damn dude…….that looks so good. Also, can you buy a wood fired pizza oven for the channel!?!?!? 🤣
Panang curry is my favorite flavor. Jet Tila has the knowledge for reference.
The family loved it, next day took the left overs and made burritos. Keep it up I really like what you are doing.
Or tandoori more like it. Love the channel
100% making this, this weekend!
Hard char grilling chicken thighs and then incorpating them in a dish is a great and delicious technique. I do it for chicken chile verde posole soup and various stews and casseroles - the smoky char elevates the dish both flavor and texture-wise.
Best looking chicken tikka I have seen in awhile
Damn! Now that’s fire! I’ll be makin this one.

Looks great! Don’t see the naan recipe in description. Thx for all the awesome content.
Love the wallet commercial
I made butter chicken and it's really similar to this.
I can already tell this is going to be a once a month thing in our house.
Next curry to make. Panang curry
You should do a panang curry
Awesome!
Yes please. Paired with a little cilantro chutney? Don't mind if I do!
Looks Good.
#STAYSAFE
#PHILLYPHILLY 🇺🇸
It’s saved to my list!
I suggested this as a burrito but I’m super excited as hell to see this happen because I wanted to see how Bradley would put a twist on it
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
I would like to see a Tikka Masala or butter chicken sausage recipe!
Chud, Love your videos. Please let us know how you season and keep your carbon steel pans functional and non stick. After one fry my seasoning starts coming off. Any tips would be appreciated!
Made this today and it's awesome.
Dude… please we need brisket beef rendang
Deliciousness!
Thumbnail looks tasty I've got to try this
Love that you are cooking UK food! [Waiting now for all those who don't know it's a Scottish/British dish to kick off at me]
Yeah it's as Scottish as the bagpipes are originally Indian😂
Chicken Tikka Masala originated in Glasgow in the 1970s. You can google it. 🙄
Miss the Chud Chats!
I normally pan sear the chicken but getting that direct heat smokey flavor... Omg...
