- Ok, first off I didn’t throw that race. I didn’t break the Malibu on purpose. And I’m not kidding when I tell you my brother was NOT IMPRESSED! We have much more important things to work on this week than the Malibu!
"What we have here is a failure to maintenance" haha, uncle bucko has been hilarious lately.
He is a funny guy
Sound like a T shirt....
I think I have been watching this channel too long, as I said it out loud along with him as he said it, haha.
Same phrase went through my head.
...another great video, Bill - thanks for reminding us how life, in particular, your life, can be hectic & rewarding within minutes of each other...family...what else matters ?...I applaud Billy on his 'hesitation' with the Nova...he aint scared of that car, just has alot invested & wants to do it right the first time..leaning on the advice of others is a big step in maturity...well done, young man...Tommy & Allison are killing it with camera angles, lighting & music...just awesome...at the end of the day, you & your beautiful bride must sleep well...be safe, the sun rises on your next day !...
Bill/Jeremy I love watching your Dad work ground. Makes me feel like a kid. Seeing old school equipment planting really brings back some good memories. Hats off to your Dad for putting in the hard work to stay true to his roots.
The old man is one of a kind you don't find them like that anymore yeah I've been working on cars since I was about 10 years old I thought I knew everything least about everything no the old man teaches me things that I thought I knew please don't make fun of him okay he's a good guy
@@DWO619 I'm not sure what you mean here. I don't understand why you would think I'm making fun of anyone. I was expressing my admiration for the Old Man's Dad. I respect that he rebuilds and uses old school implements. I live up by Lake Erie in OH and watched/used the same 50s/60s/70s farm equipment. I have a lot of respect for farmers and the hard work they do. I know 1st hand and miss the men who taught me. They are all gone now.
@@whereisamerica7384 I'm so sorry I didn't mean to upset you I respect everything you're saying that's how I feel I grew up on a small farm and yes it's hard work but it teaches you to be a hard worker and to respect people you don't see that anymore and I miss it I would give anything to go back to them days when I was a child working on the farm that was the best time in my life I'm sorry if I upset you you stay strong I love you brother
@@DWO619 all good. Not upset, was just confused by it. No problem. Thanks and enjoy the day👍
@@whereisamerica7384 that was the very same thing with me, the john Deere is fantastic, and although I live in IRELAND, hearing the sound of the old TRACTOR, just brought me back to looking over the fences and watching the farmers working hard...I don't understand why he thought that you were talking bad about Bill's dad, it didn't come across like that to me, your going to just always have negative people commenting, don't give them any of your energy, just you and I and lots of others really enjoy going down some really great memories, some which I had forgotten until seeing the post today....just don't give negative comments anything, move on...🤝🤝🙏
Really good to see Rob up and about.
Bill I am eternally grateful for what you have done for me and my family. Thank you!!.. Adam
Keep working hard buddy. Thanks for watching our stuff
@@theoldmansgarage just finished your video. you are 100% right your n/a combo needs to be optimized before you go stuffing anything down it's throat or you are just asking for problems and you dont know how much horsepower you are leaving on the table. Ps i seen chief video right after it came out. Good night bill.
@@ACDGarage_Racing morning Adam! Good to see you in the neighborhood this morning, lol, hope your well this morn!
Thought it was just always common sense to make sure you had everything completely dialed in before you ever started to add extra power from various things. Then, if things start going south, your really chasing worms cause you have no idea what side of the fence they originated from and if it’s the big fat ones causin problems or the little skinny ones. I thought that was just mechanican 101, lol, but maybe it was and the Yea Hoo’s Bill is referencing skipped mechanican class that day or something. Regardless, it’s not good at all to just open the bottle and feed from everything, it’s no wonder some of these fools are blowing up good engines for absolutely no reason other than just ate up by dumbass syndrome!! Lol
Well Adam, I’m gonna be back over your way in just a bit buddy! I’ve got one or two more videos of yours to watch and then I’ll be all caught up!!
Are you gonna start going merch at some point ya think? I bet you could come up with some really cool shirt designs with your trucks and the dogs and you and let’s even squeeze grandma in there somewhere Adam so we can always keep her front and center, right where grandmas belong!
Gotta run Adam!! See ya on your side in a bit brother!! Glad to see ya tho this morn! Take care brother
It’s really positive to see Billy back to his old self and the family unit functioning in the way that keeps you all smiling and happy . The content shines in this environment . Really positive guys . Awesome 👏
“WHAT WE HAVE HERE, IS A FAILURE OF MAINTENANCE” 😂
Love how a young man can start something for fun then turn it into a family affair and friends included. Be proud hold your heads high Hoskinson's
Yup, Billy and the Old man probably didn't see this much success with the UA-cam thing years ago. I'm super happy for them all to find this platform and share their experiences with us while benefiting themselves also! Allison and Tommy are right in there too, Everyone works so hard in the family and its paying off, best part is they're only scratching the surface, things gonna keep getting better I just know it! Ms. Vicki is the glue behind the scenes, she's always to busy to be in camera much but I know she's swamped with keeping the family going! Great job guys you've raised 1 hell of a family here!!!
I honestly don’t know how you guys stay motivated to get all this done, I have a hard enough time with just 1 car lol, keep it up guys
I love this old man !!!
He tells it like it is , no bullshitt'n , strait up ...
I ve been watching this family for about 2 years now , and i like the direction they are headed .
Best of luck to the whole gang !
There is a good video on oil pressure issues on a big block on Steve Morris Engines to do with tollerances of the bearings. Might be worth a watch. Hope you get them sorted. Jeremy is a great addition to your team.
I highly agreeing worth a look
First thing I thought when the diff went bang. Uncle Bucko 😂
My goodness you all have a whole lot of plates spinning right now! No wonder you're in a bit over overload mode. Sorry we haven't been able to stay in touch the last week or so, Power Tour has really taken it out of us but really glad to see the Nova getting to where it is! Will have to stop by to say Hi next week, let's all just get through this weekend in one piece!
I have been going through a hard time here in the last week or so, im staying the night at my napa store(cause im currently homeless, but only for a day or two) which is where i am employed. I am so thankful for your videos to help me push through these hard times!!!! You guys are so awesome and give me the inspiration and motivation to push through these times! I just want to thank y’all and i want to wish y’all the best! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Keep your head up brother, it is a very hard time for alot of us. Take care.
@@jerrellkull5347 thank you brother
This goes out to Rob. Glad to see you back up, and around! You, an Billy have worked your asses off on the Nova, and everything else!
Also sir you have alot. You have a great family that love everyone and love eachother beyond anything I've seen from alot of people these days. I wished my family had a care for one another like yours does. I live through watching your family doing things with one another. Thanks for the content, it's always great wisdom.
Thank you uncle Bucko for some humor!, on the other hand oldman what you've taught Billy and what hes learned on his own, he displays a lot of wisdom by not getting in a hurry and thinking things through several times which in turn makes him feel more confident about his car!. Hes really awsome!, hope you get your rear end problem solved on the Malibu!, great video Bill!.
Thanks Bill for sharing your adventures with your family and friends thanks for the awesome videos I'm so proud of Billy and the nova thanks again
Love watching yalls family it's helping ease the pain today my mother in law was like yall would do anything to help others before her self and she died lastnight from pancreatic cancer
Bill and family thank u all for this awesome channel….. ive been going through a rough patch in life and just wanted to say this channel lifts my spirits bigtime 😊👌🏽
You gotta sit back and appreciate just how well this family works together as a team 🙌🏽
Bill I appreciate everything you are trying to teach people I just wish they would take notes and apply it to their own car's. I think God for you and your family it's a pleasure watching each of your channels.
It was awesome to see you guys at Cincy Street Nights at Edgewater. I knew as soon as you left in the finals that the 10 bolt let go. Kenny Powers did good as well. I didn't bother to pester all of you guys since I knew you were busy. But it was interesting to watch everyone film it all. If you can't find a GM rear end for the Malibu it's time to send it with a Ford rear end.
Awesome brother Y'all as a family have made a household series on here doing what Y'all love to do . Living the dream right. Hats off brother
Great job Bill. Yall are top notch folks and I operate in the same fashion of self reliance on tuning but always help the man up that is less than myself.
Old man's garage u have hell of a lot to b proud of u r a self made man n both your boys following in your foot steps #realisrare
Good to see uncle Rob. Glad pop got a chance to get some work done. Without you breaking 10bolts, uncle bucko wouldn’t have constant work. He should be happy 🤣. Can’t wait for the video to come out, of the nova making a pass! Great video! Per usual. Shout out to Kenny and Harley also.
Bill
I love watching your dad work ground also. Takes me back home where I worked for the farmer down the road from my parents house. I used an old John deer B and a formally almost every day. Learned how to drive a dual range rear axle grain truck before a car. Man I miss those days !
I love your guy’s family so much thanks for all the great videos you guys put all😁
Hey , just wanted to add “ Uncle Bucko is awesome too!!Keep up the good work!!
I definitely agree with you on the base tuning! Some guys just don't realize how important it is
Oh boy here we go uncle bucko he's been kinda funny lately I'm surprised you made it home pulling that trailer with the pinion bearing out I have to say somebody is looking out for you all I also have to say big cheif and you are spot on everything in life starts with a beginning you all are the best and it's good to see big Rob up and around tinkering the knowledge that this whole gang has is what makes my day I wish you all the best God bless and as always be safe 👍
I like the sign over your right shoulder when talking about your generator. Hell yes Bill, keep working hard and we'll keep watching.
You and Chief stressed the importance of a good foundation, so to speak, and that is very true. Most of the techs in my small town has worked for me at one time or another, and they will call and ask about a problem such as, is it a sensor or computer etc., and I would ask about plugs, wires, etc. It seems that since on board computers came along it can no longer be the most basic things any more! Great video, Bill!
Between you and chief I have learned so much. I'm way more confident in my program once I'm able to start testing. The knowledge you're sharing is invaluable to anyone starting out. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
I love watching this channel and family grow! Been following every day/week all channels for a couple years..
I actually did watch chief's video and I honestly think you're spot on, the way cheif explained about first understanding the motor and what it can do before you throw the NITROUS into the mix, both completely different background, but as you said bill, built and wired the very same, I actually love the progression of Billy TUNING and building his own car, I remember you showed us a picture when Billy was a baby and the car that miss vicky had, family members make you change everything to support and encourage everything until they find what they love doing and build on that...you whole family, and I include the dogs to, ARE AWESOME PEOPLE...really down to earth and very easygoing and to talk to aswell, considering how many cars you are running now, just to finish, I've heard Billy saying multiple times, this is a unit!!, so if he's going to name the nova, it has to be "THE UNIT"....
You and your family along with the crew has come a long way in only a few year's of dedication hard work in a dream
Use it. break it. repair it ,or do with out it . Best part of the third shift is seeing a new video posted at this Time and once there is on well its time for lunch . Great video hope you guys get everything taken care of by Fri. As always great video and look fwd to the nexted one 👍
Wooohoooo thanks Miss Vicky!! Now I can finally get my wife some shirts too!!!
I have been watching you guys for a very long time and to see y'all grow it's awesome it truly brings tears to my eyes God bless and good luck
Love uncle bucko! Mr.Bill much respect for you and your family. Keep the carb information coming i am trying to learn some tricks from you.
Mr Bill I've been trying to teach my son the same thing and he's been listening and the big chief video is a good one like your's are about taking one step at a time you don't come out running you learn to walk first you keep doing like you do I'm gonna keep watching thank you
Always Dial in N/A before adding juice! Dialed my car in for most of 2006 before we started adding juice. Then we spent two days on the dyno dialing in each set of jets before hitting the track and letting it loose. Great job I think you have now caught up with the wives car on broken 10 bolts before the 9in
Awesome Content, Whole Crew hard working at it!
My Dad passed away 7 years ago. The only thing I have left from him is his Snap-on tools and many memories of knowledge he passed down to me over the years.
He gave me the tools and the information I need. It is up to me to turn the wrenches and make it right...
That's why I love this garage channel. Takes me back to my youth being in a garage hearing my Dad and his friends collecting thoughts and tinkering to make things better; with as little money as possible. That's the roots of America.
We take too much stock in making things new again, when most of our rewards come from making things simply WORK again. Like that old tractor and it's attachments. A new paint job on it, will not make the vegetables yield any better at all...
Great to see big Rob back and doing some light work. it had to be rough not doing anything
Thanks Bill for everything you guy's do for more great content
Uncle bucko he is a hoot for sure and that’s awesome big rub being back helping billy out and it’s wonderful to see everyone back at the og shop working and billy and tommy are growing up doing some wonderful things at there age for sure and proud to see there progress as the grow more and more but they also had a heck of a teach to get them in the sport to just wonderful people there
Great video Bill. Nothing like watching a no BS real deal video while working the nite shift hauling fuel. It waa nice to talk to you at Magnolia. Glad to see the oil pressure issue is getting better. I shared with you my issue I had ran into with those heads while sled pulling. Hopefully everything comes together.
Man uncle bucko is funny! 😂 hes my favorite great videos bill!
Great video as always. Loved it from the farm to the garage. Uncle Bucko isn’t happy unless he has something to complain about. Keep him fussing Bill great job.
Thank you Vickie if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have any idea what was going on! lol Plus Bill would have to change the name to "The Hairy Old Man's Garage" he's starting to look a little rough around the edges you have our permission to get the hedge trimmer out!!! LOL Thanks Bill and the WHOLE family Great Video!
I watched your Cincy street nights, chiefs video and then this. I sprayed sbf’s in bracket class for a long time and what you’re doing as well as chief is exactly how I started. Tune motor. Then spray, check plugs and then move up in spray. I’m sure you know if you ran outta nitrous what to dial the car at the next round on a motor hit. Good stuff.
I'm waiting on the Nova test.
I know it's gonna be turned way down but I've got a feeling that turned down ain't going to be enough.
540 wants to eat and the pic Billy showed look like it was digging hard.
U got everything to b proud of boss ur an amazing person n and have an amazing family n I want y’all to always do great love everything u n ur family doea
Its awesome to watch before I go to work keep up the great work Bill always enjoy all your guys videos
Glad to see the family coming back together and working on the cars billy is a smart young man and you raised him well and to see Tommy and his girl doing his own channel to you all have a good future in the racing future it's all up from here wish I had a dad like you growing up
Ya the blonde was poison and horrible watching her break the family apart.
Some people don't get raised like alot of people she just needs some guidance you could tell she loves Billy so no one should even talk bad about her that's his personal like if people don't like it or like what I'm saying don't bring negative talk on his comments this is a family channel
Good luck in Kentucky src family! Also patiently waiting on a race between Kenny and old man!
Absolutely good counsel. You have to stare with a good foundation to build with a good game plan.
Lol poor Jeremy who gets a rash of rear ends
Dang Bill take it easy on those rear ends 😝 Get’em walking boss Bucco!!!
And a Proud Dad you should be Bill, that kids came a long ways. Love all your guy's content.
😀 Really great to ROB at the shop. Maintenance - maintenance. Finally it bits you in the behind. LOL.
there is nothing better than family and good friends coming together to get stuff done.
Don’t worry about what these keyboard jockeys say. You are one of the best tuners of a carbureted small block Chevy‘s I’ve ever seen. Keep doing what you do mr Bill. You and your family are awesome people.
I like watching your videos and you and your family are awesome people and I like watching you guys race and just hang out with family and friends
Mrs.Vicky, Bill always nice to Family
Leading and cutting a wide path forward to help Family success
Put a 9” in that thing! Sometimes you have to bite the bullet. Because if you hurt the Grand National rear in it and that breaks, it’s gonna be a lot harder from a parts availability standpoint to get it fixed. I love GM stuff too! But it’s hard to beat a good 8.8 or 9”. Love the channel, Bill. Keep up the awesome editing. You’re a great story teller and I enjoy these videos tremendously.
I bet even a spool or mini-spool would help some until the day it gets a 9" (I know it wouldn't help street-ability, but there wouldn't be a locker to break anymore, only the axles would be at risk).
Stop saying your old. Im 55 amd still out work young guys in the roofs. Not that I'm proud of that but I do love the hard work. Your a good guy. Family is everything
Squirrelly Locks - she keeps the whole operation together. God bless Vicky.
That is smart about the tune up. I drive my r/t with radio off to listen to it. Sorry about your bad luck Bill. Thatnks for another great vid!
Watched Chief's video first and then yours, both came to the same conclusion, get the base line right then add the " power adders." Great minds think alike.....
Bill,,,,the Boy has a knack for it....A burning addiction for it if you will......., just like WE did,,,,mind you,I'm only 40 .....but my first car was a red/white two toned 57 Pontiac Star cheif wagon ❤️.....And to see your Boys WANT to do The same as US.......SO I KNOW HOW PROUD YOU ARE OF THEM BOYS ❤️💯👌💪❤️
Same luck I have if it can go wrong it usually does you guys always pull together and get thru it that’s what matters great job as always
thanks for the video. justsaw Limpy and Happy talking to the track owner from clay city on tonight live feed . sounds like it will be a good race! goodluck guys! if uncle bucko would fix these rears rite you wouldn't be having all these problems!😛LOL! JUST KIDDING UNCLE BUCKO
You both are so right I have seen so many guys blow there stuff up just cause they are not patient. Small sets guys I’m no guru but you will come out way better this way. Love the videos keep it up
A house is only good as it's foundation.
Thanks for another great video.
I'm just salivating to see the nova cut it's first light! And the only thing better than that? Hong's ceremonial GAPTISM! ☠💀🙌 It's awesome to see BTK grinding out the learning curve. Built, not BOUGHT! So damn proud of the SRC fam!
Bill done tore the rear end out of everything. It’s a wonder Ms Vicki is still walking😂
😯😂🤣 omg dude! Wow!!!
I don't get very many shout-outs but you're very humble oh man and that means everything
Excellent commenting Bill about tune and test.
The way I was taught, you tune the engine on motor, get it happy and right. Then you drop the heat range of your plugs, back the timing down ( amount depending on set up ) then and the spray and tune accordingly. A engine that’s rich on motor will be rich on the spray and can make it harder to tune. Same as if it’s lean on motor.
I'm starting to worry about Ol' uncle Bucko, he's had his head up some rearends here lately...love the family the content and the lessons. Keep it up Bill !
Mr Bill you are one awesome man I know you broke the 10 bolt on purpose for that man you cost yourself how ever much that cost I know that chunks aren't cheap but that don't matter to you you have a big heart I know you'll never admit it but you are the kind of man that always looks out for your fellow man God bless you sir thank you and everybody around you for all the great content that you guys put out for our entertainment God bless you and your family
You got to have a base to start with then you can see the gain or loss with what you add. I really love the old man and his videos. I watch them alot along with the kids. They are just a small family and love racing and helping out
I have watched TV show he is a lot like you unbelievable how you guys communicate without even talking to one another on the same topics love the show keep up the great work guys
I’m SORRY I went to bed early last night and missed this upload! BUT YEEEEEE HAWWWW MY SHOW IS ON! So I’m catching it hours later. 👍😁👍
Cool to see the progress on the Nova, I hope you get the oil pressure issues worked out. Bummer the dually’s rear end is tore up. Uncle Bucko is just hilarious.
I feel like you could make some great content by doing a Ford 9” in house build series.
Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed.
I'm happy for you and your family! May God bless each of you beyond measure in Christ's name!
Well well well, uncle Bucko is a hoot.
@Bill, I watch your channel because you are teaching me stuff that I don't know, I watched Justin and Little Red before this and it seems to me that you know what you are doing. It is crazy the amount of stuff that you have to juggle all at once, you do you and don't worry about everyone else.
I hate to laugh at Jeremy's misfortune having to rebuild that rear end this many times in such a short period but i couldn't help it, at least this time it was for a good cause 😉 That 2 door Blazer is pretty damn clean for being in the Midwest, them things are getting to be pretty rare these days...
When it rains it pours sorry Mr. Bill. Hope you guys catch some breaks and prep for the weekend goes smooth.
I see what you were talking about with chief about getting the motor tune right before you spray it. A lot of similarities in they way you two go about it. Keep the vids coming love you guys !!
Bill I think you get a pass on breaking the 10-bolt I think you broke that one for Jake Bowling Congrats. So glad you got to take the Nova to trails can’t wait to see it good luck with everything so proud of Billy Love y’all
