Thanks Chevy. The clouds interfered a little, but at least the rain stayed away. The poor 5305 suffered a battery failure, so it's out of service waiting for repairs.
@@CanadianrailroadsCa not any plans yet, difficult to get materials to expand when my hobby shop is an hour away. Have to save up for a trip these days haha
@@CanadianrailroadsCa mostly getting the bulk head flat car into production, that going to take a lot of time. And once they are in production putting them together is going to take a while. In between working in that I have several hoppers and a tanker to repaint, 2 engine kit-bashes and and passenger car kit bash in line. As well as finishing up a custom car for a customer, so I’m quite busy. I look forward to seeing what else you’re working on.
@@nsnjrailfan1617 Wow, you have more on your workbench then I do. I'm just finishing up the Canpotex hoppers, and have the SD60f's half painted black. I'd certainly like to have them in service by the end of the summer. Eventually I'll have to buy a new battery and repair the 5305. That's pretty disappointing that I've lost a battery that was only two years old. This winter I might build a GP9rm/slug set, and maybe an SW1200. We'll see how things go.
@@CanadianrailroadsCa I was planning a GP9r eventually, we will see how that goes. Wheee did you get the battery from? Maybe it’s got some kind of warranty? A sw1200 would be pretty cool. I only know of one other one in g scale, so it would definitely be unique.
@@nsnjrailfan1617 I've picked up so many the last few years I'm not sure I could connect it to a purchase. I just hope I can get the SD40-2w apart and put back together without doing any damage.
Amazing as always Shane! I really like the creative camera angles, looks like you sure had a lot of fun. :) Your rail yard also looks to be adding quite the excitement to your operations, very nice!
Damn, looks soo good. I wish i had bought my share of dash-9's when they were new now they are like a billion dollars if youre lucky to even find one smh!
Thanks. Yes, looking back, there are a lot of things I wish I would have purchased when I had the chance. Equipment is pretty scarce at the moment, even from USA Trains.
Thanks Tony. A big op. like this takes about three hours to set up, and probably four to put away as I'm tired by the end of the day. Then it takes about 2 1/2 days to recharge the locomotives as I am currently using a single charger.
@@CanadianrailroadsCa Oh wow, had no idea it was that much work or that those locomotives are rechargeable. Thats very cool. thank you for your efforts
@@TonyVRailfanning A lot of that is my fault for storing everything in the basement. I chose battery power for my layout so I never have to clean the track.
Wow that looks so good!!!! Very realistic. Hell of an effort young feller 👍👍

Wow very nice. Tons of potential.👍🏼
Thanks JC-xf5jc.
THAT is totally awesome......Kudos.
Thanks HL 3. I'm glad you like it. Hopefully I'll get a new one posted this summer.
Looking great as always! Especially loved the shot of all these trains sitting together at 1:58
Thanks Lucas. Any big plans for your layout this summer?

@@thompsonriverrailfan That's for sure. Even shipping is getting expensive. My main G scale hobby shop is in Ontario.
WOW, phenomenal video! Loved all the scenes, angles and all the different motive power!
Thanks Andrew. Happy Fourth of July. Heading over to watch your new video now. :)

Thanks Vincent. What's on your G scale agenda this summer?

Thanks Bricks. Now where's that new bridge. :P
Excellent running there and an ipressive loco roster as well cheers
Thanks. Hopefully I'll have a couple more major operations this summer.
outstanding. is there a video coming for the LGB 3 bay bash. they look great!!!

Love the outdoor scenes. Those G scale units really work well in an outdoor area it seems. how long did this take to set up?

Nice I like that Southern Pacific Shane. Is that one new? Awesome video all the time 😎👍
Thanks Dave. I think this is the third summer it has been running, but it normally only makes an appearance for big events.
wait do i see ply wood under the tracks?
Yes, I used it in the yard area to keep the track spacing solid. We'll see how it holds up.
no rail clamps?
There are some around. They are on the bridge, and under the deck.
procor!!!!!!!!
What? Where? :P
