I am going through exactly the same thing you are going through. Ignore all the haters. They are just jealous and know that they don't have the fortitude to do what you are doing. I got so desperate for actors, I ended up handing out flyers at a local movie theater and school. Someone called the police...twice. Because some people are just A-holes. But I found some actors. I struggled for locations, but eventually talked a local film club into letting me use an office room and did guerilla film making in other locations at quiet times when no one was around. My actors were terrible at first, so we did read through after read through until they got better. I have barely any equipment, but I got creative and planned out shots really carefully and it worked. Slowly but surely, everything got better. Now I'm half-way through my film. KEEP GOING. JUST KEEP GOING.
So excited for you, I know you will succeed. You are so creative and talented, your skills are obvious. Vincent is so right that no one cares. People don't care until you create something they care about. Visionaries and Creators see it already and they have the capability to bring it to life. But is it simple? Is everyone going to get it before it's created? Almost never. But once you do create something that people care about, that creates a faith in you, that you KNOW what you are doing and you obviously are creating another gem. I am so glad you are pushing forward strongly and not out of spite for all the BS, but for your love and passion for creation. The more of your creations that exist, the more believers you will have. I can see already that you have what it takes and your life is amazing in that you are chasing your passions. Your creations will speak loudly for you, so the pain and struggles completing them will pale when compared to your final products. Having a baby looks like the most grueling torturous thing I have have ever seen, but I have never seen a mother that wasn't elated at the end of that experience. Definitely would love to see behind the scenes stuff that can also help others looking to do the same as you. That has value. keep going! be blessed. Also, whenever you say "vincent said" - there should be a cut to him saying that.

Good luck with your films. May they be successful. I am a writer and an artist, and I learned that no successful person gets only five-star reviews. The creatives who shine have been torn down the most. Negative feedback is part of success. People love to tear each other down for the littlest things.
Just think of how Romero had to build a name for himself in Pittsburgh. He started out small, but didn't make his first commercial film until 14 years later.
